Let's celebrate Rust's 10th anniversary!

This month marks Rust's 10th anniversary. To celebrate, there will be in-game birthday cake, hats, souvenirs, and some new items.

Rust has undergone significant evolution since its release in 2013. It initially started within Unity Engine 4, playable in a web browser. A standalone version was later released on Steam Early Access, the beginning of which is now known to most as Rust Legacy. With rocky foundations, a complete overhaul of what exists today was done, known as Rust reboot, or simply Rust today.

In the last ten years, Rust has sold more than 16 million copies (not counting console). More information here.
