Rise of the Angry Earth

Seasons come to New World!

From March 28 you will be able to get more out of your adventures in Aeternum thanks to the seasons. You will discover more frequent content, such as new features, gameplay experiences and a Season Pass with two reward tracks, free and premium. The Legacy of Crassus

The power of Rome has become a threat to Aeternum! Take down the monstrous captains of General Crassus and banish the shadow of Rome's tyranny in this new event. Following the plan set in motion long ago, Crassus's forces have invaded the southern lands to free the Cyclops Lucanus and Decimus. Players brave enough to take on these bosses can search for portals in Brightwood, Weavers Fen, Mourningdale, Ebonscale Reach, and Edengrove. Each victory grants the adventurers a specific daily reward to this event, which will be available from February 21 to March 7. More information here.

Return to Aeternum

Watch as your favorite Twitch streamers forge a new legacy in their own worlds from the ground up in Return to Aeternum. Four teams will compete to complete server objectives in all aspects of the game. From November 2nd to November 18th, you can follow thrilling adventures, earn Twitch Drops, and see which world levels up the fastest. Return to Aeternum is much more than just a race. Each team will receive the same 8 challenges and will have to complete 4 to level up. This friendly competition will continue until all teams reach level 5 or until time runs out. In addition, the four worlds will be opened to the entire community after the end of the event. Brimstone Sands Release Date and XP Event

Discover a new story, Expedition, and more with the release of Brimstone Sands on October 18. To get players ready for the new zone's level 60 content, the New World team will be running a 1.5x character XP event starting October 5th and running through October 17th. Oddly enough, a year has already passed since the launch of New World. This period of time has brought all sorts of major changes to Aeternum. Player feedback has accompanied each update and has helped the development team implement quality of life improvements like the upcoming revamped starting experience. Before continuing with all the news that will come to the game, the New World team has prepared a summary of everything that has happened in the game during the last year.

Update 1.6.2 arrives!

New World Update 1.6.2 is here, and it includes the new Barnacles & Black Powder Expedition, along with another Mutation set. Don’t miss out on this exciting adventure! A notable fix in this update is that both World and Regional transfers now have a 3-day (72 hour) cooldown after use. The team will continue to monitor the results of this change to see if further adjustments are necessary in the future. Also, the team has implemented many bug fixes including, among others, the important issue that caused PvP Arenas and other modes to count towards Expedition run limits. XP Extravaganza Event Calender

The XP Extravaganza event continues with a full calender of weekly XP bonuses that players can earn from June through early July. Every week there will be a new XP event that will be active from 09:00 CEST on Monday until 09:00 CEST on Thursday. V 1.5.1 is here!

Several general updates and fixes have been made in this new version of New World. Here are the main changes: Umbral Shards, Gems, and Repair Kits can no longer be dragged directly from storage onto equipped items. Faction control point crafting yield bonuses will now stack additively rather than multiplicatively with yield bonuses from tradeskill armor/levels. Tier 3 aptitude rewards for the furnishing tradeskill have been improved. Fixed a bug that caused certain moving or homing attacks to get stuck. Audio performance has been improved on devices with the minimum specifications. Apart from this there have been adjustments and changes to the weapons and the PvP part of the game. New Update | 1.4.2

The New World update is bringing several new features to the world experience and error corrections. You can also enjoy the minievent Rabbits’ Revenge with this patch. Corruption has taken over rabbits throughout Aeternum and you have two weeks to hunt them and to get magnificent rewards. As for the missions, the previous versions of Saboteur and Master of the Tempest have been disactivated to open the new option of completing them alone. Beware of rabbits!

Spring is here and is accompanied by an invasion of corrupt rabbits. From 12th to 15th April you will have to help finish the plague and in this way, get magnificent rewards! In this two week event the corrupt rabbits will release special bounty. Each day, you can earn up to three rewards of diamond gypsum and five luck boosting consumables. Get double the experience this weekend

To celebrate the launch of Heart of Madness, this weekend you will be able to enjoy the first double XP event in New World. When getting the double weapon XP, you can get a combination of improvements and skills that better fit your play style with the weapons that you want, as well as getting help to level up the new blunderbuss. For those reaching level 60 who want to finish Isabella’s story, the double character XP will give them the push they need. The Heart of Madness update is leaving the tester public server behind to join the main servers of New World. With this expansion, the final mission of the main story and The Tempest’s Heart expedition are arriving in the game, together with the new weapon, blunderbuss. This week’s update is coming with several updates and changes in Turning Orb recharge times, together with some important general error fixes. Heart of Madness

Heart of Madness is the new update that will soon be arriving to the public server of New World and will put an end to Isabella’s story. The principal missions will start with the pursue of Isabella towards the Shattered Mountain, where an epic final confrontation will take place. Tempest’s Heart is also coming to the game, a final expedition for 5 players. You can also get hold of a new weapon, the catapult, which brings great mobility and inflicts a lot of damage at a short and large distance. Discover what’s new with February’s update

This new update is coming hand in hand with around a hundred corrections and important changes so that movement, combat, and actions are more fluid, as well as focussing on solving problems and improving quality of life in the game. Also, as expected, they have applied balance changes and Asalto rewards remotely. The New World team is working endlessly to improve the experience of New World and, as always, they thank the patience of users and the constant feedback which allows them to carry out a good job. New World x Adobe Creative Cloud

It’s clear that in Aetérnum nothing captures your pride, compromise and personality better than the armour that protects you from the dangers that await in New World. How does the opportunity to help a streamer to design game items sound? On 24th February at 22:00 CET, the art director of the New World, Charles Bradbury, will join Shroud to design a new weapons outfit and weapon. He will work with players following the restream with Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Gen Create to make this never seen before idea into reality. New update in New World

This week’s update includes error fixes and changes in the final phase of the game, apart from additional updates. As far as the final phase of the game is concerned, there has been an error fix meaning that the unlock message was inconsistent on higher mutation difficulties and an error causing problems when upgrading equipment while storage was opened if it contained umbral shards. V1.2.2 comes to New World

Adventurers, this week´s New World update includes multiple error corrections for glitches that have appeared in the game recently. New World X The Wheel of Time

To celebrate the season one finale of The Wheel of Time, the Amazon team has made specially themed Twitch drops available for players. Some of the user’s favourite content creators will be hosting watch parties for the finale followed by New World streams so you can start earning Drops. This week’s update is focused on resolving the issues that arose after the December update. The development team has worked endlessly to improve the New World experience and they would like to thank users for all the reports which allow them to continue perfecting the game. Winter Convergence Festival

The December update comes hand in hand with the Winter Convergence Festival, which has left the Public Test Realm and will be available very soon. This is a limited-time winter event packed with missions and special activities. In addition, the December update brings many balance changes, quality of life improvements, and modifications for the high levels of the game. Version 1.1.1 live in New World

The latest New World update focuses on solving the problems that have arisen from the update carried out in November. Changes have been made to Motes from Elemental enemies, missing horticulture gear recovered, crafting and trading polished... For all the details, check out the full patch notes.

Are you ready for Into the Void?

Into the Void has passed the necessary tests in the Public Test Realm and will be available soon. The update includes the new Void Gauntlet, a mix of DPS and support that allows you to manipulate the powers of the void to aid allies and weaken enemies. There is also a fierce new type of enemy, the Varangian Knight, whose true objectives in Aeternum are still shrouded in mystery. In addition to this update, hundreds of changes and bug fixes are included, from faster movement speed on roads to linking Trading Posts or new missions. If you are one of those players who like to try all the news features of their favorite games before they go to the public version, we have good news for you. New World has introduced the Public Test Realm! Update 1.0.5 is ready

The Amazon Games MMO does not stop progressing and improving and maintains a very interesting and constant rate of updates so that the title reaches the top. Update 1.0.4 is coming to New World!

The New World team applies a new update to your game, it is version 1.0.4. This patch is focused on fixing the top issues the players have been hitting in recent weeks, especially those impacting wars. Notable fixes include resolving the AoE magic effect War exploit, the issue preventing players from being able to appropriately increase their Faction token cap, and beginning work on addressing issues causing invulnerability. New World store gets its first update

Today marks the first update to the New World store. Sparked by Halloween, they’ve added some sinister skins for armour and weapons, as well as spooky decorations for the housing, new emotes and new dye packs. New World 1.0.3 update!

This update has neatened up the new server transfer feature once and for all. A number of bug fixes have also been applied. To show some appreciation for your patience, New World is granting players the in-game title of “The Stoic”. In order to prevent this from happening, they have doubled their servers. Huge! They’ve also increased server capacity on those already active and are working hard on a feature that will allow players to transfer their characters to different servers.
