Season 12 is drawing to a close and this weekend is your chance to make one final push to climbing the Competitive ranks of the season and earn fun new rewards! You already earn Competitive Points as you play and win Competitive Play matches, but starting Friday, October 4 and until Monday, October 7 there is an extra incentive to play Competitive Matches with a special Drive Meter currently in the Competitive Play menu. Overwatch has announced the first collaboration from a musical artist in Overwatch 2. It is none other than K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM! Considered one of the fastest-growing K-pop groups in the world, this intrepid quintet brings their talents to Overwatch 2 this season with the music video for LE SSERAFIM's new single, Perfect Night. This collaboration will also feature a game mode inspired by LE SSERAFIM and exclusive in-game items, such as legendary hero skins. The battle between the forces of light and darkness comes to Overwatch 2! Season 3 begins!

Season 3 kicks off and brings a ton of new content, including the Antarctic Peninsula control map, an Asian mythology theme with a battle pass featuring Kiriko's mythical skin, the ultimate Valentine's event with the AmorWatch dating sim, and a collaboration. of PI, a first in Overwatch 2! Defense Matrix Update

With the release of Overwatch 2, more than 40 million players (both new and returning) have joined the world of Overwatch. Since the game became F2P, the combat against inappropriate behavior such as match sabotage, inappropriate messages, and cheating continued. As already stated in the presentation of the Defense Matrix initiative, progress has been made to achieve a fairer gaming experience for all players. After three years away, the Overwatch World Cup has been announced to return in 2023. What can we expect from Season 2?

Season 2 is right around the corner, and with it comes a ton of new things! Among them we can find Ramattra, the new tank; Shambali Monastery, the new map; and the Battle for Olympus since the theme of season 2 is based on the gods and legends of Greek mythology. Meet Ramattra!

Ramattra's history is complex and multifaceted, and his ultimate goal is to protect his people, but he is unaware of the price he will have to pay in return. In his origins, Ramattra was a war machine who put aside bullets in exchange for a shield to protect his own by promoting peace and calm. His ideals were not far from those of another omnic monk: Zenyatta. However, the story of Ramattra is full of adversity, trauma and an exalted vision of the harshest truths of humanity. Don't miss the Overwatch 2 Reveal Event!

The Overwatch team brings news to share with the community. Mark the date on your calendar and do not miss it! The Overwatch 2 Reveal Event will be streamed on the PlayOverwatch YouTube and Twitch channels on June 16th at 19:00 CEST. So far, Sojourn (the new damage hero), Push, hero reworks, new maps, and a ton of new features are coming to Overwatch 2. Several balance patches have also been implemented during the beta and even some new abilities, such as Zenyatta's Snap Kick passive. This is just the beginning. Discover more information here.

The first PvP beta of Overwatch 2 is starting!

The beta PvP of Overwatch 2 is just around the corner. From 27th April at 20:00 CEST, selected players will receive invites to join the beta over the course of the day. Overhauls of Doomfist and Orisa

The Overwatch team has decided that Doomfist and Orisa need a rework so that their skills are better adapted to the game play. They are two opposing forces that are getting their redesigns just in time for the JcJ Beta of Overwatch 2. Despite the fact the new 5c5 composition  will change the way the tanks face eachother in team combats, their main objectives will continue being the same: to focus on creating team spaces, start confrontations and to protect allies in predicaments. Meet Sojourn!

Sojourn is now ready for battle. Like the former Overwatch captain she is, her skills are designed to plan, lead and execute attacks against enemies. Sojourn is the 33rd heroine of the group and offers a unique mid-range game play experience and a set of skills including mobility and artillery. The senior heroes designer Josh Noh lead the project as far as game development, whilst the narrative designer Miranda Moyer has focused on writing many of Sojourn's phrases in the game. The release strategy for Overwatch 2 is changing, separating the PvP and PvA modalities so that players can make the most of new PvP content sooner, whilst it continues to develop the PvA mode.
