September’s Pages of History honors the fearless Bazooka Charlie

The Pages of History event returns this month, transporting players to iconic theaters of war. From Iran and India to Lorraine and Kuban, participants will experience battles inspired by historic conflicts while earning exclusive rewards.

Running from September 1 to September 30, the event features 8 consecutive tasks. Completing each task grants a trophy with prizes; while finishing them all unlocks a unique player icon as a mark of achievement.

This edition spotlights Charles Carpenter, the American pilot who earned the nickname “Bazooka Charlie” during World War II. Originally assigned reconnaissance duties with an L-4 Grasshopper, Carpenter modified his aircraft by attaching bazookas to its wings. Renamed Rosie the Rocketer, the plane became a deadly weapon. In the Battle of Arracourt, he destroyed a German armored personnel carrier and four tanks, embodying his bold motto: “attack, attack, and then attack again”.
