Big changes at Bungie

The renowned video games studio has to face difficult changes. They have just announced that due to rising costs of development and industry shifts as well as enduring economic conditions, they need to make substantial changes to the cost structure. News about the release of The Final Shape

The Final Shape represents the closing of the first ten years of Destiny, for this reason, the Bungie team wants it to live up to the path it has traveled, so they have announced that they will take the necessary time to be able to give players a larger, more ambitious expansion, one they will remember and treasure for years. As usual, this change brings with it many doubts about the calendar for the coming months. The Season of the Wish begins today and will run until the release of The Final Shape in June. The majority of Season of the Wish content and story will take place between late November and February, as originally planned, but the team is adding new content that will be available to all players until the release of The Final Shape. New World First in Destiny 2!

Another World First run has come and gone, this time with a new experience with the Root of Nightmares raid. As with all raid races in the past, conquering RoN was a global effort. Fireteams from around the world filled up their water bottles and rounded up their best friends to see who could be the winning team to complete the newest raid first. It was a close race! Many hopeful fire crews took their best shot by aiming for that coveted belt. However, you know how it goes. Only one team can win. More information here.

Game2Give 2022

On December 6, 2022, the Bungie Foundation kicks off its annual Game2Give fundraising campaign. The fourth edition of the campaign will feature a two-week streaming marathon from Destiny 2 community content creators, a slate of brand-new exclusive donation and fundraising incentives, and some very special Dawning-themed streams. This year’s edition is extra special as the Bungie Foundation is officially announcing that their flagship iPads for Kids program has a new name! Introducing... Little Lights! Festival of the Lost Tricks and Treats

For the next few weeks, we will be able to enjoy the Festival of the Lost as Halloween means a lot to the Destiny 2 team, and being able to share their favorite holiday with the entire community is a true gift for them. Halloween is here, so put on your favorite mask and gobble up those delicious treats while participating in activities that will make your hair stand on end. Nessus Expedition and Weapon Crafting Update

The Expedition activity is now available on Nessus! So, you can now enjoy a new enclave in which to continue looking for treasures. Additionally, with Season 18, the perk options for the Dares of Eternity weapons have been updated, a new original trait called Hot Swap has been added, and the ability to build multiple weapons as long as you have unlocked the weapon creation in The Witch Queen. The Taken King is back!

Starting August 26, you can join your raid team to take on Oryx the Dreadnaught once again. Because this is a raid that many of you are already somewhat familiar with, the World First race has been changed up, similar to what was done with Vault of Glass. Similar to Vault of Glass, the first team to both beat the raid in Challenge Mode and to collect the raid Triumph will be declared the World First race winners. To celebrate, all six members of the final fireteam will receive one of our World First title belts. The Witch Queen Season is here!

The Witch Queen is now out and the Guardians all around the world have launched the next chapter of the Destiny 2 universe. The launch of the new season has started without problems, queues have been short, with limited bugs and players are excited to immerse themselves into Savathûn’s throne world for the first time. Game2Give charity event starting now!

As you know, the team behind Destiny 2 is working not only on the games, but also on helping others through the Bungie Foundation. Between December 2 and December 15, the 3rd Annual Game2Give charity event will take place and everyone is invited to join it. Let us celebrate what we can accomplish together! Trials of Osiris is back! For those who’ve yet to take part and who don’t know what we’re on about, it’s a PvP event of elimination matches. Get a run of 7 triumphant matches and you’ll receive the loot: high-stat armour, exclusive weapons and some fantastic cosmetics. To make the game even better, the current Trials have been updated. Subclass 3.0 deets!

Bungie have made a lot of new announcements recently and the Subclass 3.0 update is one of them. With the new update, as well as new crafting possibilities, there is now far more to the subclasses of the game - with new abilities, mechanics and cool new combinations. The idea behind the changes is to create new and exciting styles for Destiny 2. Keep in mind that with the expansion of the Witch Queen a number of things are changing and some content will be removed from the game. If you missed the most recent recap – the one where Bungie announced all the huge updates for Destiny 2 ­– don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. First off, the new Season of the Lost is now available. The Queen of the Awoken needs your help in the Dreaming city to save her lost techs. Naturally, the new season has a bunch of powerful new weapons in store, but the best part is the Witch Queen expansion: for the first time in Destiny 2 history, you can create your own weapons! And another first is that you can now select the difficulty in Legendary Mode. Obviously, by upping the difficulty you’ll earn yourself better rewards. What’s new for Season 15

It’s not long now until Season 15 of Destiny 2 gets underway on the 24th of August! If you’re keen to know what’s coming up, we’ve got all the info below. For a start, they’re bringing in a number of Exotics that will refund super energy. They’re also making significant improvements to the Hunters, Titans and Warlocks, have added new weapons such as a pulse rifle and sidearm, and there’s a new Iron Forerunner set too. The developers have added new options for controller sensitivity and made some changes to modifications that affect the ammo economy. The new rewards from Prime Gaming have also been announced. In season 15 of Destiny 2, Cross Play takes on a new lease of life life as Guardians from Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Stadia are now able to fight together or against each other at any given time. Are you ready for Solstice of Heroes?

It’s almost time for a celebration and the Solstice of Heroes is the perfect moment for that! A big party in the Tower isn’t the only thing that’s going on. New armor for Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks are coming! As you upgrade your sets, you’ll once again be able to earn some magnificent white glows to make your armor cooler. Splicer activated!

As we mentioned before, Season of the Splicer is on. Robots blotted out the son so the Last City doesn’t get any light — for this reason, the guardians are teaming up with a tech-master Eliksni. With the advent of the New Season, some issues came to the surface — the team from Bungie is hard at work in solving them to kick the Season into high gear, and so the players enjoy this exciting adventure. Destiny 2 V 3.2.0.1 arrives with changes and adjustments that will make players enjoy each game much more. Season of the Splicer has been announced!

The team from Bungie have announced the new Season of the Splicer. Ikora reveals the identity of a mysterious ally, Mithrax, Kell from the House of Light, who spearheads a group of Elixni looking to get close to the Traveller.
