Discover the changes to the mini-set

This patch is focused on adjustments to the mini-set. There will be another patch window in a few weeks, between expansion announcement and launch, where the devs plan to look at the meta more broadly. Now, the mini-set introduced a major outlier: Big Spell Mage. Although some players enjoy the play pattern, the deck causes frustration due to how prevalent it is and how early it can get its power spike. The goal of these changes is to push back the average Big Spell turn a bit and to shave a little power from the deck, while allowing it to keep its core functionality. Duels is coming to an end

This time, the Hearthstone team brings you some bad news. Considering the future of the game and where the team's efforts can be put to best use, they have taken the difficult decision to discontinue support for Duels mode. There will be no further update scheduled for Duels, and this mode is scheduled to be phased out in April 2024. However, this change will allow resources to be used where they will have the greatest impact, such as Hearthstone's traditional mode and Battlegrounds, among others. Patch 24.4 releases today, September 27, and comes along with the new Murder in Castle Nathria Mini-Set, a returning Battlegrounds hero, several updates to Mercenaries, and much more. Regarding the battlefields at a general level: Another Hidden Body is back in the Quest Reward pool. Also, his animation has been sped up. Another Hidden Body is now harder to earn. When creating a private room, players can now invite friends of friends they have already invited. And how could it not be otherwise, Sylvanas Windrunner returns! The Maw and Disorder

Following the Murder at Castle Nathria, Sylvanas was brought before the Jailer to answer for his crimes. But… What crimes? Because there have been enough. Launching globally on September 27, the The Maw and Disorder miniset is made up of 35 new cards: 4 Legendaries, 1 Epic, 14 Uncommons, and 16 Commons.   The new Hearthstone expansion is now live worldwide! Murder at Castle Nathria adds 135 new collectible cards, the new Location card type, the new Infuse keyword, and much more! Locations are an all-new card type that will be permanently added to the game. This weekend we are going to the Noblegarden with Battlefields: Lobby Legends

With a new hero, new minions and a new keyword, the top 16 Battlegrounds players from around the world will battle it out in the inaugural Hearthstone Battlegrounds season, Rise of the Naga, to prove they've got what it takes to be the next Lobby Legends champion and to win a share of the $50,000 prize pool. During day 1, the 16 players will be divided into two separate lobbies and in each one three games will be completed. At the end of the matches, the top four players with the highest score from each lobby  will go on to compete in a lobby as the best 8. During day 2, the top 8 players will compete in a continuous check format until only one remains. Points will be awarded in each match like day 1, but to win you need to get a minimum of 20 points and then secure a first place match victory. Once these two conditions are met, the winner will be able to take the title of champion of the second Battlegrounds: Lobby Legends and will win 10,000 dollars in prize money. Hearthstone introduces new features with patch 23.2

The goal in the year of the Hydra is to improve the gaming experience and create a better and more player-friendly game client. With all of that in mind, the Hearthstone team has shared three features that are coming to Hearthstone with patch 23.2! Upgrade to Golden: Golden card lovers will have the option to upgrade their normal cards into golden versions, as well as being able to craft them from scratch like before. The cost of Arcane Dust to upgrade a card is the difference between its base cost and the cost of the golden version. Sharing Deck Codes in Chat: You can now share deck codes through the in-game chat. Favorite Multiple Card Backs: You can favorite multiple card backs instead of just one. The Naga army will flood the Battlegrounds with patch 23.2 arriving on May 10th, bringing the first season of Battlegrounds, Rise of the Nagas. The new season brings a reset to the Battlegrounds rankings, a new hero, and a new type of minion, the Naga! Welcome to the Year of the Hydra with patch 23.0

The moment has arrived to see the big clock of Hearthstone again. Get ready to live the new year in Hearthstone, Year of the Hydra. The Year of the Hydra will start with the launch of Voyage to the Sunken City on 12th April. This year, the Hearthstone team will focus on adding more features and improving existing systems instead of creating new game modes. Rewards Map for Voyage to the Sunken City

The moment has arrived to get lost in a new rewards map. When the rewards map is updated after the launch of Voyage of the Sunken City, all players will automatically receive any free unclaimed rewards on both the free track and the Tavern Pass. Raid Leaders will take place this weekend

This time we can enjoy a submarine expedition towards the ancient city of Zin-Azshari. This city, disappeared in time, is home to impressive views and terrifying dangers. This weekend you can enjoy the Hearthstone Masters Tour Ruins of Alterac

More than 400 players from more than 40 countries will compete in the second Hearthstone Masters Tour to put an end to the war between the Alliance and Horde. The Masters Tour Ruins of Alterac will have a prize pool of 250,000 dollars and the title of Champion in the Masters Tour. The 32 best players from America, Pacific Asia and Europe who don’t already have invitations will get one for the Masters Tour 3, which will take place from 22nd to 24th April. Patch Notes 22.4.3

The new Hearthstone update is launching tomorrow and includes balance updates to the battlefields in the standard format. The power of Kazakusan, the smuggler from IV:7 and informer of IV:7 has been reduced in the standard format. In the battlefields a bonus will be granted to the Buddy Meter when you defeat Kel’Thuzad. Get ready for the Heathstone Grandmasters 2022!

After the epic conclusion of the Onyxia’s Lair Masters Tour, the Hearthstone esports haven’t missed even one second and are continuing with the 2022 competitions. The first season of Grandmasters will start this Friday and it will be the last regular season of Grandmasters, where we will see 48 of the best players from America, Pacific Asia and Europe in its regions advancing to the 2022 World Championship. This season has three weekend tournaments where players can get points to get through the elimination rounds. They will face off in Conquest, Last Hero Standing and the new Trio format for part of the total prize sum of 250,000 dollars. Lobby Legends: Raid Leaders

The first esports event of the year related to battlefields, Lobby Legends: Raid Leaders, will take place on 2nd and 3rd April. 16 of the best players worldwide will face off to get part of the total 50,000 dollar prize sum. To classify for Lobby Legends: Raid Leaders, players must occupy the first place in their respective regional leaderboard at the end of February. The Masters Tour will take place in Onyxia’s Lair

The first Masters Tour of 2022 will take place in Onyxia’s Lair and more than 400 players from more than 40 different countries will compete to take home part of the prize sum totalling 250,000 dollars. The tournament format will be in a 4 deck, best of 5 Conquest with a ban. The 32 best players who don’t have an invitation will receive one to take part in the second Masters Tour of the year. Version 22.2.2 is now ready

Balance changes for the Duel Battlefields are in the new patch 22.2.2. There are also multiple error corrections to improve the game experience. Archdruid Hamuul has also been removed from the minion pool. And as expected, several changes have been applied to different cards! The Chinese player, XiaoT, has become the champion of the Hearthstone Masters Tour Undercity standing out from the other 400 players from more than 40 countries around the world.
