Welcome to Golden Pursuits!

The 10th anniversary celebration continues with the arrival of a new option for ESO players, Introduced Golden Pursuits, which allow you to earn new rewards for completing specific activities in the game. In this first campaign, you can earn the Adventure-Ending Arrow Ornament and the 10th Anniversary Norse Hero Attire, with which you can pay tribute to those whose careers were cut short by enemy marksmanship or dress up as one of Tamriel's iconic heroes. From now until November 25, to earn this reward, all you have to do is complete activities such as visiting other players' houses or completing a dungeon! Learn more here.

Update 44 is now live!

Get ready to battle Hollowjack during Witches Festival 2024!

This year's Witches Festival begins on October 24 and ends on Tuesday, November 6. In honor of the terrifying seasonal event, you'll be able to earn spookily awesome rewards, loot skulls, XP boosts, event tickets, and more. During the Witches Festival, all adventurers benefit from a 100% boost to experience gained at all times. However, the Witchmother’s Whistle, the former source of this bonus, is still available. The in-game event Fallen Leaves of West Weald is live!

Search for ancient Ayleid relics within the Colovian Highlands to unlock special rewards - including some all-new ones - during the Fallen Leaves of West Weald in-game event, for all players who own the Gold Road Chapter. Do your part to seek out lost knowledge, and keep track of the community's progress on The Elder Scrolls Online website! The Fallen Leaves of West Weald in-game event has just started and will run until Tuesday, October 8. Also, the Fallen Leaves of West Weald sale is now live on all platforms. Update 44 Preview—Battlegrounds, New Companions, & More!

If you enjoy the fast-paced PvP combat of the Battlegrounds, Update 44 introduces big changes to the current format. Battlegrounds is shifting to two-sided matches, instead of the traditional three-sided. At launch, there will be two main Battlegrounds match types: 4v4 and 8v8. Update 44 introduces also new features, changes, and quality-of-life improvements, and it is free for all existing ESO players (with the exception of the new Companions, who you can purchase for free with ESO Plus membership or with crowns from the Crown Store). Free dungeons and more in the new Anniversary Spotlight

During September’s Anniversary Spotlight you can get free dungeon DLC from Daily Login Rewards, unlock and claim a free costume and arms pack, and earn Undaunted Keys as you complete daily Endeavors. Your third login during the month unlocks the Fang Lair dungeon, while your fourth unlocks the Scalecaller Peak dungeon. Kick Off Your Adventure for Free During QuakeCon 2024

During the QuakeCon 2024 Free Play Event, you’ll gain access to the ESO base game, including four of the game’s classes (Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar, and Dragonknight), 24 zones to explore, as well as ESO’s PvP game modes: Battlegrounds and the Alliance War. Throughout the free play period of this event, you can experience the vast world of Tamriel as well as the countless adventures that await at no cost. Recapping the 2024 ESO Tavern Community Event

The ESO Tavern has been the major European in-person community event for fans and developers alike since 2013, and this year was no exception. Held in the castle of Wasserburg Heldrungen in Thuringia, Germany, the event saw attendees enjoy activities from glassblowing to archery, as well as live music, delicious cake, and more. Don't miss The Zeal of Zenithar

The Zeal of Zenithar returns on June 20 and will last until July 2. To access it, get the introductory quest “The Unrefusable Offer” from Amminus Varo in the Belkarth festival grounds in the Craglorn region, or get the quest starter for free in the Crown Shop. Are you having trouble finding Belkarth? No problem. Travel to the nearest Entrepreneur store and take advantage of the portal to transport yourself to the city. Upon finishing the intro quest, you unlock the daily quest, "Honest Toil." More information here.

Gold Road and update 42 are now available

Unravel the mystery of the forgotten princess with the Gold Road chapter and the base game patch for update 42. The new chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online presents us with a new area, the Western Forest, along with a new system called Scribing. And, furthermore, it puts the finishing touch to the story of Ithelia, the Forgotten Princess, which began in 2023 with the Shadows Over Morrowind saga. Get a multi-seat mount with Scribing

This June, if you want to win a free multi-seat mount, you just have to fully explore the new Scribing system, which arrives with the Gold Road chapter. The imminent release of The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road will give you the opportunity to explore the origins of magic in Tamriel through the new scribe system. With this, you can create your own custom skills with an almost unlimited number of options. Thieves of Tamriel

Thieves Guild is an event that is part of the 10th anniversary celebration. It starts today and will be with us until Monday the 29th. If you are the type of adventurers who prefer to operate outside the law, you can earn extra rewards and merchandise with your activities during those days. To begin, should you earn (or have already earned) the “Pocket Picker” in-game achievement, you can claim the entire Thieves Guild DLC for free from the in-game Crown Store. Earning the Pocket Picker achievement is as easy as taking a sweetroll from a baby—simply pick the pocket of any citizen of Tamriel. If you’re already an adept footpad, you might have not only Pocket Picker, but other achievements progressing from it that change the name in the in-game Achievements menu. Not to worry—should you have moved on to earn “Purse Snatcher” or “Sneak Thief Extraordinaire,” you can claim the Thieves Guild DLC all the same. More info here.

The 10th anniversary celebration begins!

The celebration of the 10th anniversary of ESO has officially begun, a great party that, over the next 15 months, will focus on the players, the game and the development team. Starting with the Amsterdam event, the fun will continue until June 2025. And from now until then, players will enjoy plenty of 10th anniversary-themed goodies, with live shows, special promotions, in-person events held around the planet, and all kind of rewards and activities in the game itself. Indulge in madness and excess during the Jester’s Festival!

The Jester’s Festival makes its triumphant return to the game on March 28 and runs until April 4. During this iconic celebration of extravagance, you'll be able to earn tons of XP and rewards by completing event-specific quests. To be admitted to the celebrations, head to the event pavilions in Ebonheart, Vulkhel's Defense, or Daggerfall, and speak to any of the three jesters who serve as alliance leaders. Gold Road and Scions of Ithelia

West Weald Zone

In the new chapter of ESO, Gold Road, you will be able to explore the West Weald zone, which will introduce new characters, locations, challenges, rewards and stories. If you already know Southeast Cyrodiil, the chapter will allow you to explore this lush region of Tamriel for the first time since the 2006 title The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Recently, strange events have plunged the region into chaos, transforming the landscape in strange ways and revealing new threats that you will have to face. To the southeast is the Golden Road, a region where a temperate climate similar to that of the Gold Coast reigns. In The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road you will have the opportunity to access a new system: Scribing. With it you will be able to manipulate the nature of magic itself by obtaining and customizing special abilities that will give you more possibilities when creating archetypes and playing your way. Quest, hunt, steal and conquer during the Guilds and Glory Celebration Event

The Guilds and Glory celebration begins on Thursday, January 18, and concludes on Tuesday, January 30. During the event, your adventures and adventures through Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, the Gold Coast and the Imperial City will allow you to earn different items, such as reward boxes and event tickets. Secrets of the Telvanni

The Secrets of the Telvanni in-game event kicks off this Thursday, September 28, and runs until Tuesday, October 10. During the celebration event, you can earn bonus rewards and collectibles as you complete daily quests and adventure within the Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha zones. Work together with your fellow players to complete the new event-unique daily quest, titled “Turn the Page” to progress the community meter found on the Secrets of the Telvanni event page. By the event’s end, all Necrom Chapter owners can claim all unlocked rewards. More information here.

The Undaunted Celebration event is back!

The Undaunted Celebration begins today, Thursday, September 7, and ends Tuesday, September 19. During this PvE event, your intrepid gang can earn special rewards and event tickets for delving into any of ESO's group dungeons. Once the event starts, you can head to the door of any dungeon in Tamriel or search for it on the map or activity finder. Or, alternatively, you can get the introductory quest “Glory of the Undaunted” by speaking to Serileth in any Dauntless enclave, visiting the Entrepreneur's shop, or for free in the Crown Shop. The Public Test Server (PTS) has been updated to include the upcoming Scribes of Fate dungeon DLC and Update 37 for the base game. It can now be accessed via the ESO Launcher for PC/Mac. The Shadows over Morrowind adventure is here!

The Daedric Prince of Knowledge, Hermaeus Mora, treasures and protects many secrets best kept out of the reach of both mortals and Daedra. Now, one of the mysteries that the Omniscient guards most jealously is threatened by unknown forces and reality itself is in danger. The Shadows Over Morrowind adventure kicks off in March with the Scribes of Fate dungeon DLC, and tells a story that weaves through various content releases, including but not limited to The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom chapter. Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha

Along with the Necrom chapter comes the opportunity to explore two new zones: the Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha. The Telvanni Peninsula, located on the eastern shore of Morrowind, is the homeland of House Telvanni. If you've already explored Sadrith Mora on the island of Vvardenfell, you may be familiar with the region's unusual landscape, its giant mushrooms, and the wizards who live there. In turn, separated from Telvanni, but in the center of all this, is the capital of the area, Necrom, also known as City of the Dead, and which has not appeared in a game in the saga since 1994. from The Elder Scrolls: Arena. In this new chapter, you will have the opportunity to venture through the city of the dark elves, learn of its solemn purpose and reveal its ancient history. In addition, the new chapter will offer you the opportunity to explore the Infinite Library of Apocrypha, the realm of Hermaeus Mora in Oblivion, and discover secrets there that are unknown to both mortals and Daedra. The new arcanist class arrives!

With the new arcanist class, you will have unimaginable power at your disposal. The Arcanist is the seventh and newest class in the game. Upon his arrival, parallel to the release of the Necrom chapter in June, he will bring powerful abilities and new mechanics tied to the reign of Hermaeus Mora in Oblivion. With this new mystical class, you will be able to use powerful runes, volumes of ancient knowledge, and even the energy of Apocrypha himself to activate destructive, defensive, or restorative magic. Firesong and update 36 are now available

Thanks to the new ESO update, you will be able to explore a whole new area, discover the traditions of the druids of the Systres and confront the Ascendant Lord, in the conclusion of the annual Legacy of the Bretons adventure. The untamed Isle of Galen, home to the druidic circles of the Systres Archipelago, is engulfed in chaos. The Breton city of Vastyr is constantly raided by the Dreadsail pirates. Meanwhile, the Circle of Burning Song has started a war between the druids of the Systres. Explore the Systres and get special rewards

Join forces with other adventurers during the Heroes of High Isle event to unlock new rewards for all who venture into the Systres. The Heroes of High Isle in-game event begins on Thursday, September 29 and ends on Tuesday, October 11! While it lasts, you can work together to unlock awesome rewards by earning the High Isle Pathfinder achievement. To do this, assemble an intrepid band of explorers (or go it alone) and explore High Isle by visiting the six unique striking locales in the area. More information here.

The Lost Depths DLC and Update 35 are now live!

Continue your Legacy of the Bretons year-long adventure with the Lost Depths DLC and the Update 35 base-game patch. This new DLC game pack introduces two dungeons to challenge four-player PvE groups, Graven Deep and Earthen Root Enclave, and adds more content to the ongoing Legacy of the Bretons year-long adventure. This release also includes the free Update 35 base-game patch, which provides all ESO players with a series of additions and improvements to the game. More information here.

Elder Scrolls

The Elder Scrolls team is sending you to the depths of the ocean! Delve into a lost underwater complex and uncover the secrets of the Druid King in Graven Deep, one of the two new dungeons coming soon as part of The Elder Scrolls Online: Lost Depths. While the island might appear like any other surrounding Tamriel, when exploring, you and your party soon discover a massive Dwarven complex beneath the waves. Graven Deep gives you the chance to explore a technology that has never been seen before in Tamriel. The new game pack arrives on August 22 for PC/Mac and on September 6 for consoles. Dominate your enemies in Whitestrake’s Mayhem

The Whitestrake’s Mayhem in-game event begins this Thursday, July 28 at 10AM EDT and runs until Tuesday, August 9 at the same time. During the event period, you can enjoy bonuses to both your Alliance Points and XP gains in addition to earning fantastic in-game rewards while participating in ESO’s PvP activities. Earn Crown Boxes during the Zenithar's Fervor event!

Starting June 30 and ending July 12, gifting five or more Event Tickets from the in-game Crown Store to other players will earn you an additional four Dark Knight Crown Crates. If you want to get your hands on these crates, follow these simple steps: From the Crown Store, gift five or more Event Tickets to anybody in-game during the Zeal of Zenithar in-game event You can find Event Tickets within the Events section You can split the gifts between multiple recipients, meaning all five tickets don’t necessarily have to go to the same player Once the Zeal of Zenithar event has concluded, we’ll grant you four Dark Chivalry Crown Crates The Crown Crate delivery will occur by the end of August 2022.
