The Riftbreaker

In The Riftbreaker™ you play the role of captain Ashley S. Nowak, an elite scientist/commander inside a powerful Mecha-Suit known as Riftbreaker.

Your mission is to enter a one-way portal to Galatea 37, a distant planet at the far reaches of the Milky Way, with the purpose of building a base that will allow travel back to earth and to further colonise the planet.

The Mecha-suit of Ashley, which she calls “Mr. Riggs”, can withstand the harshest environmental conditions, and it has a full range of equipment to build, extract resources, collect specimens and of course – combat.

BASE CONSTRUCTION

Your objective is to build a return portal back to Earth. It’s complex technology so you will need enormous amounts of energy. Simple solar collectors and a few tons of steel won’t be enough. You will have to build a complex chain of mines, refineries, powerplants and research facilities to complete your mission.

DEFENCE

Your presence on this planet will not go unnoticed. As you build up your base and disrupt the natural order, the planet will start to see you as a threat. Protect yourself by building barricades, walls, and defence towers whilst attacks get stronger with each passing day. You will face thousands of hostile creatures trying to eliminate every trace of your existence.

EXPLORATION

Galatea 37 is an unknown planet in the Sycorax belt in the Milky Way. Long distance surveys detected that it is habitable and perfect for colonisation. The planet is full of rare minerals and substances throughout its surface; it has different ecosystems full of unknown fauna and flora, as well as some extreme weather conditions. Construct local outposts in resource-rich locations that you can transport thanks to the portal technology.
