Enter a world of psychedelia! An ecology littered with multiple pathways, bright levels and challenging obstacles… that’s what awaits you as a Spinch: an incredibly agile organism fueled by your quest to rescue your offspring from a vicious invasion of misshaped and malformed figures.

Spinch is all about old-school level design: you will be replaying the same stages over and over again until you master it, developing your skills and reflexes accordingly. Six colourful bosses await you in Six colourful worlds, where you’ll have to jump, dash, dodge, swim, climb and use your own offspring as projectiles to overcome the challenges. Warning! Your creepy cousin’s around, babysitting some of your relatives.

As hard as Spinch is, it’s not unforgiving: there are absolute no lives or game overs, just a clock and quick retries, so the only thing between you and victory is perseverance. Thanks to this game design decision, Spinch is welcoming to new players and speedrunners alike.

With an art penned by award-winning Canadian cartoonist, Jesse Jacobs, Spinch features his signature precise and detailed line work in combination with bold and simple colour palettes.  Jesse Jacbos is well known for bringing into his work aspects of spirituality, alternate realities, psychedelia and technology and nature blending together. He’s not the only talented individual in the game: James Kirkpatrick, of Canadian graffiti movement and hip-hop artist fame, is here along with Thesis Sahib, who created the soundbites and electronic sounds that give Spinch its unique style.
