Utah Beach Operation | D-Day 80th Anniversary

This June marks the 80th anniversary of the largest amphibious operation in military history.

A colossal Allied invasion force gathered in southern England, eagerly awaiting good weather to board their ship and cross the English Channel. The navies of eight different nations were united with almost 7,000 ships of all types, ready to undertake the mammoth task of transporting the invading forces to France. The Allied invasion of Normandy, also known as D-Day and Operation Neptune, would lay the groundwork for the liberation of Western Europe from Axis occupation.

To commemorate these great events come three new Operations events inspired by real naval actions off the coast of Normandy. These Operations arrive as a separate battle type, each lasting 2 weeks.
