Future Icons event lands in Apex Legends with 1v1 Duels and legendary cosmetics

Legends, class is back in session—even in the summer heat of the Outlands. From June 24 to July 15, 2025, Apex Legends launches its Future Icons event, bringing a powerful mid-season update and a new twist on a fan-favorite mode. Get ready for Arenas: Duels, a 1v1 format with no abilities, no healing, and no excuses—pure skill, head-to-head.

The event also introduces Future Icons Event Packs, packed with legendary Legend skins, epic weapon skins, and Wattson’s new “Apex Icon” Prestige Skin, complete with a matching Dive Trail. And yes—Natalie Paquette is back, better than ever, with buffs that include faster fence placement, electrified doors, and the ability to slow down enemies… even that especially clever troublemaker.
