Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora evolves with its long-awaited third-person view

The breathtaking world of Pandora is about to enter a new era with the Third-Person Update for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, arriving on December 5, 2025. This update introduces a third-person perspective, giving players a completely new way to experience the beauty and depth of Pandora’s vibrant environments.
Alongside the new camera mode, the update will also include New Game+, offering players a chance to relive the adventure with all their progress and fresh challenges. Every corner of Pandora can now be explored through a more cinematic and immersive lens.
Ubisoft has also announced Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes, a brand-new action-adventure expansion inspired by the upcoming Avatar: Fire and Ash film. Launching on December 19, 2025, this expansion promises an epic story filled with emotion, breathtaking landscapes, and the untamed spirit that defines Pandora.
