Two Stern Ritter with radically different fighting styles have entered Bleach: Brave Souls. The Thousand-Year Blood War Glory Summons: Awe introduces new ★5 versions of Gremmy Thoumeaux and Robert Accutrone, combining powerful status effects with team-wide bonuses designed for demanding PvE content.
The new Summons became available on September 18 at 16:00 JST and remains open until October 7 at 15:59 JST. Its structure contains four featured ★5 characters, milestone guarantees across 40 Steps and a dedicated medal exchange that rewards every individual draw.
Gremmy Turns Imagination Into Mind Attribute Firepower
Gremmy arrives as a Mind Attribute melee strong-attack character built around Weaken+, Quincy Killer+ and extensive damage support for other Mind characters.
Every attack in Gremmy’s kit can inflict Weaken+. When applied, the enhanced status effect reduces the damage he receives from the affected enemy to one while simultaneously allowing him to inflict greater damage in return. This gives his kit both offensive and defensive utility whenever the status effect activates.
His Greater Status Ailment Chance Against Quincies +20% skill increases his reliability against Quincy opponents. According to KLab’s official character description, the value doubles the 10% provided by previous affiliation-based status skills, making him particularly effective in missions populated by Quincy enemies.
Once an opponent is affected by Weaken+, Gremmy can activate Status Ailment Spiritual Pressure Boost +90%. His damage is further supported by Mind Attribute Damage to Status Ailment-Affected Enemies +30%, producing a kit designed to capitalize quickly on successful status applications.
The character’s most distinctive feature, however, may be his collection of team-oriented skills. Simply placing Gremmy in a party provides Mind Attribute allies with Strong Attack Damage +30%, Damage to Status Ailment-Affected Enemies +30% and Special Move Damage +30%.
These bonuses make him more than an individual damage dealer. He can function as a central support unit for Mind Attribute strong-attack teams, increasing several different damage sources without requiring every ally to share his exact build.
Gremmy Also Functions as a Valuable Character Link
Gremmy’s Soul Trait reduces strong-attack recharge time by 14%, fitting his status-driven combat loop and allowing him to cycle through abilities more frequently.
He also possesses the EX Skill EX Team/Party Strong Attack Damage +20%. When Gremmy is placed in the first link slot, that unconditional strong-attack bonus can be shared with the linked character’s entire team or party.
This creates an additional use for the new unit even when he is not deployed as the active fighter. Players building around strong attacks may obtain considerable value from Gremmy as a link, particularly when combined with characters that already possess status effects and substantial Spiritual Pressure.
His remaining tools include Weaken Resistance 200%, granting protection against both the standard and enhanced versions of Weaken, and Quincy Killer+. KLab positions him for difficult activities such as Senkaimon Quests featuring Quincy Killer, Stern Ritter and melee-damage bonuses.
The official breakdown does not automatically establish Gremmy as the best option for every Mind composition. Team value will still depend on mission rules, enemy affiliation and available links. Nevertheless, the combination of Weaken+, three Mind Attribute party bonuses and a shareable EX skill gives him a clearly defined role.
Robert Delivers Speed, Barriers and Lacerate+
Robert joins the Summons as a Heart Attribute ranged strong-attack character. Unlike Gremmy’s Mind-focused support kit, Robert emphasizes movement, Lacerate+ and rapid positioning.
Every attack except his third strong attack can inflict Lacerate+. Affected enemies receive continuous damage and are prevented from using their strong attacks, giving Robert a form of offensive control alongside his direct damage.
His Greater Status Ailment Chance Against Humans +20% makes him more reliable against Human enemies, while Status Ailment Spiritual Pressure Boost +90% and Damage to Lacerated Enemies +80% reward successful applications with substantial additional power.
Robert’s team support includes Damage to Status Ailment-Affected Enemies +20%, but his most unusual party effect is Heart Attribute Character Movement Speed +40%. Including him in a team significantly increases the movement speed of Heart allies, potentially improving clear times in content where quickly crossing large stages is important.
The benefit is not limited to his teammates. Robert also has Sprinter +3 and EX Long Stride, giving him considerable personal mobility. These skills fit a character whose gameplay revolves around maintaining distance, repositioning and attacking enemies before they can respond.
A Superior Strong Attack Provides Robert With Protection
Robert’s third strong attack is the exception to his Lacerate+-focused offense. It functions as a superior strong attack while also granting him three barriers, allowing the character to combine a large damage opportunity with temporary protection.
His ranged kit is supported by Human Killer+, Strong Attack Recharge Time -14% and Poise Break outside Brave Battles. Robert also carries Freeze Resistance 200%, protecting him from Freeze+ in content where losing mobility would undermine one of his principal strengths.
As a character link, Robert can share EX Long Stride and EX Berserker +30% when placed in the first link slot. The latter provides a direct strong-attack damage increase, while Long Stride can change how efficiently a linked character moves through quests.
KLab specifically identifies Senkaimon Quests with Human Killer, Stern Ritter and ranged-damage bonuses as suitable environments for Robert. His movement-speed support and link utility may also give him value beyond stages constructed specifically around his Killer.
Glory Summons: Awe Features Four ★5 Characters
Gremmy and Robert are the two newly introduced ★5 characters, but the banner contains four featured units in total. KLab directs players to the in-game Character Pool for the complete list of summonable characters and the precise rate assigned to every non-featured ★5 unit.
Each featured character has an individual draw rate of 0.75%, producing a combined featured rate of 3%. That figure should not be confused with the wider ★5 pool, because every x10 Summons guarantees one ★5 character and that guaranteed unit can come from outside the four featured characters.
The milestone structure improves the targeting options at specific points:
- Steps 5, 15, 25 and 35: one featured ★5 character is guaranteed.
- Steps 10, 20, 30 and 40: one of the two new ★5 characters is guaranteed.
- Every x10 Summons: one ★5 character is guaranteed, including non-featured units.
The distinction matters. A standard x10 guarantee ensures ★5 rarity but not Gremmy, Robert or another featured character. The numbered milestone Steps are the only stated guarantees that narrow the result to the featured group or specifically to the two new units.
Spirit Orb Costs and Awe Summons Medals Explained
A single x1 Summons costs 25 Spirit Orbs, while a x10 Summons costs 250 Spirit Orbs. Players should still review the individual Step information in-game before spending, as the complete interface remains the authoritative source for the contents and conditions attached to each pull.
Every draw also awards one Awe Summons Medal. These medals can be spent through the dedicated Awe Summons Medal Exchange, accessed from the Home screen by selecting Shop and then Exchanges.
Medals earned through x1 Summons are delivered directly to the Gift Box without displaying the usual acquisition pop-up. Players using individual pulls should therefore check the Gift Box before assuming that a medal was not awarded.
The medal system provides a secondary form of progression alongside the character results, although the practical value of continuing through multiple Steps depends on the contents and prices shown in the Exchange.
Two Specialized Stern Ritter Join the Thousand-Year Blood War Roster
Gremmy and Robert are not interchangeable damage dealers. Gremmy is structured around Weaken+, Mind Attribute support and shareable strong-attack bonuses, while Robert combines ranged Lacerate+ pressure with barriers and unusually strong movement tools.
That separation gives Glory Summons: Awe a clearer identity than a banner containing two characters competing for the same team position. Gremmy offers broader offensive support for Mind compositions, whereas Robert can accelerate Heart teams and provide mobility-focused link options.
The 0.75% individual featured rates still make the milestone guarantees important for anyone specifically targeting one of the new characters. Steps 10, 20, 30 and 40 guarantee Gremmy or Robert, but they do not allow players to select which one appears.
Thousand-Year Blood War Glory Summons: Awe is available in Bleach: Brave Souls until October 7 at 15:59 JST.
