Pandora gets a festive twist as Borderlands 4 releases Bounty Pack 1: How Rush Saved Mercenary Day—for free—starting today with the newest patch. It’s a true Mercenary Day miracle, delivering a holiday mission filled with explosions, absurdity and the signature Borderlands charm. Players may wonder how much trouble a single “gift” can cause… and the answer is: a lot.

Once the game is updated, players can locate a gift-wrapped present—marked on the map as a new mission—in any major hub. Interacting with it triggers a special adventure alongside Rush, who takes center stage in a chaotic holiday rescue filled with frantic firefights, seasonal hazards and a festive mystery waiting to be unraveled.

By making this Bounty Pack free, Borderlands 4 boosts its post-launch content with a fun, accessible storyline that keeps the community engaged, entertained and heavily armed—just how Mercenary Day should be.
