Blue Mammoth Games has revealed Elysium Rising, the fourteenth season of Brawlhalla’s Battle Pass. The new season will launch on September 16 and introduce more than 100 unlockable items built around a celestial conflict involving divine champions, fallen warriors and the mysterious realm of Elysium.

The initial announcement confirms five featured Legend skins: Magyar the Apostate, Arbiter Jhala, Omniscient Vraxx, Holy Justiciar Vera and Zariel the Exalted. Players will also be able to advance the Stairway to Elysium Podium while progressing toward the ominously named Eternity’s End.

Although the reveal establishes the central theme and headline rewards, Blue Mammoth Games has not yet published the complete progression track. Additional information about Battle Pass Season 14 is expected before its September 16 release.

Elysium opens its gates to Brawlhalla

Brawlhalla’s Battle Pass seasons traditionally use their cosmetic collections to explore a self-contained version of the game’s mythology. Elysium Rising continues that approach by shifting attention toward a divine realm standing in contrast to the familiar halls and battlefields of Valhalla.

The terminology used throughout the reveal suggests a conflict between celestial authority and those who have rejected or fallen from it. Titles such as Exalted, Apostate, Arbiter and Holy Justiciar position the featured Legends as participants in a struggle over judgment, power and eternal order.

However, the announcement does not yet provide a complete canonical story for the season. It remains unclear whether Elysium Rising represents an event directly connected to Brawlhalla’s main lore, an alternate interpretation of its Legends or a largely independent theme designed around the Battle Pass cosmetics.

What is confirmed is that the reward track will follow an ascent through Elysium, with the Stairway to Elysium Podium forming one of its central progression pieces. The journey ultimately leads toward Eternity’s End and Zariel the Exalted, who occupies the most prominent position in the announced collection.

Magyar the Apostate begins a new transformation

Magyar the Apostate is one of the season’s principal rewards and will feature an upgradeable design. Players will develop the skin by completing its associated progression objectives during the Battle Pass.

Magyar is an especially appropriate choice for the darker side of Elysium Rising. Within Brawlhalla, the Legend is not a single conventional warrior but the collective spirit of numerous knights bound inside a suit of armor. Recasting that entity as an apostate creates a natural thematic contrast with the divine figures standing at the top of the new season.

The word “apostate” usually describes someone who has abandoned or rejected an established faith or order. While Blue Mammoth has not explained exactly what Magyar has turned against, the title implies a fall from grace or refusal to submit to the powers governing Elysium.

Recent Brawlhalla Battle Passes have given their progression skins three distinct stages, with new visual details and matching weapon appearances unlocked through dedicated missions. The studio has confirmed that Magyar will be upgradeable, but it has not yet formally detailed the number of stages, mission requirements or individual weapon designs for this particular skin.

Players should therefore avoid assuming that its progression conditions will be identical to those of previous seasons until the complete Battle Pass information is released.

Zariel the Exalted waits at the summit

Zariel the Exalted is presented as the highest-profile reward in Elysium Rising. Blue Mammoth describes the character as bringing the Light of Elysium to everyone, positioning Zariel as the clearest representation of the season’s celestial side.

Zariel already has a strong connection to divine judgment within Brawlhalla’s established identity. The Legend is a celestial being sent to participate in the Grand Tournament and uses Bow and Gauntlets in combat. An Exalted interpretation therefore builds upon concepts already associated with the character rather than completely replacing them.

The announced skin is expected to include matching weapon appearances and customized visual effects, consistent with Brawlhalla’s premium Battle Pass finales. The reveal confirms Zariel’s importance, but the official written announcement does not yet specify every animation or effect included with the skin.

Placing Zariel at the end of the ascent also establishes a clear visual hierarchy for the season. Magyar represents the apparent rejection of Elysium, while Zariel embodies its light and authority. That opposition gives the Battle Pass a stronger narrative foundation than a collection of unrelated celestial cosmetics.

Jhala, Vraxx and Vera join the celestial order

Three additional Legend skins have been confirmed for the Season 14 reward track.

Arbiter Jhala transforms the Barbarian Queen into an agent of judgment. Jhala normally fights with Sword and Axe, meaning the skin should arrive with themed appearances for both weapons. The Arbiter title suggests a warrior responsible for settling disputes or delivering a final verdict, although her precise role in the Elysium storyline has not been disclosed.

Omniscient Vraxx offers a more unusual interpretation. Lord Vraxx is traditionally presented as an arrogant extraterrestrial conqueror, making his apparent elevation into an all-knowing celestial figure one of the season’s more deliberately extravagant transformations. His Rocket Lance and Blasters also provide opportunities for the collection to extend its divine aesthetic beyond conventional medieval weapons.

Holy Justiciar Vera completes the currently announced group. Lady Vera fights with Scythe and Chakram, bringing two comparatively distinctive weapon types into the seasonal collection. The Justiciar title identifies her as another representative of law or divine enforcement, potentially placing her on the same side of the conflict as Zariel and Jhala.

These three skins broaden the collection across multiple weapon combinations. Together with Magyar’s Hammer and Greatsword and Zariel’s Bow and Gauntlets, the announced lineup potentially delivers themed weapon cosmetics for ten different slots before accounting for any standalone weapon rewards.

That variety matters because weapon skins are not permanently restricted to the Legend with whom they are introduced. Once unlocked, a weapon appearance can generally be equipped by another Legend using the same weapon type, increasing the practical customization value of a Battle Pass even for players who do not regularly use every featured character.

The Stairway to Elysium changes as players advance

The Stairway to Elysium Podium is another progression-based reward highlighted in the announcement. Rather than providing a single static platform, it is designed to develop as players move through the season.

Previous progression Podiums have offered multiple visual stages unlocked through dedicated objectives. Elysium Rising appears to follow that model, allowing the player’s presentation screen to reflect their progress through the celestial ascent.

Blue Mammoth has connected the Podium directly to the journey toward Eternity’s End. The phrase could identify the final state of the Podium, another reward or a broader location within the season’s theme. The wording of the short reveal is not precise enough to classify it definitively, so further clarification will be needed when the complete reward list arrives.

Regardless of its final form, the Podium reinforces one of the more effective elements of Brawlhalla’s Battle Pass design. Progression is represented through visible transformations rather than only through a growing tier number, giving players a cosmetic record of the objectives they have completed.

More than 100 items across the seasonal collection

Brawlhalla Battle Pass Season 14 will contain more than 100 items. The confirmed Legend skins and Podium represent only part of that total.

Based on the structure used in recent seasons, the wider collection is likely to include weapon skins, color unlocks, avatars, Emoji Skins, Sidekicks, titles, loading cosmetics, visual effects, Mammoth Coins and Battle Pass experience boosters. However, Blue Mammoth has not yet confirmed the complete Elysium Rising inventory, so these categories should be treated as expectations based on the existing format rather than a finalized Season 14 checklist.

The previous Battle Pass offered separate Free, Gold and Deluxe reward options. Its Deluxe edition included the Gold Pass, 25 immediate tier unlocks and several exclusive cosmetics. It is reasonable to expect Elysium Rising to use a similar structure, but the studio has not yet announced Season 14’s pricing, exact number of tiers or Deluxe-exclusive content.

The reference to more than 100 items may count individual color and weapon unlocks separately. It should not automatically be interpreted as more than 100 completely distinct premium cosmetics. A detailed track will be necessary to evaluate the actual distribution of rewards between free players and purchasers.

Missions will determine the pace of the ascent

Brawlhalla’s Battle Pass progression is normally driven by daily, weekly and season-long missions. Completing objectives awards Battle Gems or advances specific evolving cosmetics.

These challenges encourage players to rotate between Legends, weapons and game modes rather than relying exclusively on a single main. General match experience also contributes to Battle Pass progress, giving regular players another route through the reward track.

Progression-skin and Podium objectives are particularly important because they can operate separately from the standard sequence of tiers. Players interested in fully upgrading Magyar the Apostate or the Stairway to Elysium should review those requirements when the season begins instead of assuming that reaching the end of the main track will complete every evolving item automatically.

No specific Season 14 missions have been announced yet. The exact duration of Elysium Rising is also still unconfirmed in the initial reveal.

A thematically coherent roster of less predictable choices

From an editorial perspective, the most promising element of Elysium Rising is its Legend selection. The season avoids building its entire identity around the most frequently promoted members of the roster and instead gives substantial roles to Magyar, Jhala, Vraxx, Vera and Zariel.

Their titles also create an identifiable conflict. Magyar the Apostate stands apart from a group defined by arbitration, omniscience, holy justice and exaltation. Even without a complete story, that contrast gives the collection a coherent direction.

The final quality of the pass will depend on factors that the announcement has not yet answered: the distribution between free and paid tracks, the strength of the weapon skins, the mission workload and whether the Deluxe rewards justify their additional cost.

For now, Blue Mammoth has established the essentials. Brawlhalla Battle Pass Season 14: Elysium Rising launches on September 16 with more than 100 rewards, an upgradeable Magyar skin, a progression Podium and Zariel the Exalted waiting at the end of the climb.
