Black Ops 7 expands its multiplayer with maps ranging from claustrophobic combat to large-scale warfare

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 03 doesn’t just arrive with narrative and additional content—it also brings one of the biggest multiplayer overhauls in recent memory. New maps, varied approaches, and arenas designed to completely change the pace of every match.

The key is variety. From tight encounters to massive battles, this season aims to offer very different experiences within the same ecosystem.

On one hand, there are maps like Beacon, placing players in a frozen facility where extreme conditions and limited visibility force you to play smart. In contrast, Abyss offers a much more dynamic setting: a moving submarine that turns every fight into a constant duel in tight spaces.

Nostalgia also has its place with the return of Plaza, one of the franchise’s most iconic maps. Its comeback isn’t accidental: bringing back classic arenas is a way to connect with veteran players while introducing newcomers to experiences that defined earlier stages of multiplayer.

On a more destructive level, Gridlock takes the action to a city devastated by a failed strike, featuring urban combat where positioning and line-of-sight control are key.

But the big leap comes with Mission Trident, a map designed for 20v20, expanding the scale of conflict with battles in a shipyard over water. Here, team coordination and chaos management become decisive factors.

This set of maps reflects a clear intention: to offer a more varied multiplayer, where each match feels different and constantly forces adaptation.

With this update, Black Ops 7 reinforces its commitment to dynamic multiplayer that is always evolving.

The question is inevitable: will you adapt to every scenario and master every style… or will you reach your limit when combat shifts pace in a matter of seconds?
