Chemical warfare takes control of Call of Duty with Catalyst, the new face of BlackCell in Season 04

Season 04 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone is officially underway, but as is usually the case with every new season, a massive share of the spotlight is focused on the premium BlackCell content. Activision has officially unveiled Catalyst, the new exclusive operator spearheading the BlackCell offering, who arrives alongside custom cosmetic rewards, special challenges, and one of the most comprehensive bundles seen in recent months

The new trailer showcases Catalyst as a chemical warfare specialist—a theme that dominates much of the season's aesthetic and serves as the common thread tying together the exclusive contents included in BlackCell.

Catalyst leads Season 04

According to official details published by Activision, Catalyst is the headline BlackCell operator for Season 04.

Her design blends advanced tactical gear with elements inspired by chemical weaponry and experimental tech. Furthermore, players will be able to unlock two additional variants of Catalyst by completing specific in-game challenges.

This extra layer of progression has become a staple of BlackCell, allowing users to further customize their exclusive operators as they grind through the season.

An all-new Mastercraft headlines the rewards

Among the most notable items in the bundle is the "Tox Nova" Mastercraft, one of the exclusive BlackCell weapons for this season.

Much like Mastercraft designs from previous titles, it includes unique visual effects, custom animations, and unlockable variants tied to in-game challenges.

On top of the exclusive BlackCell content, the season introduces more than 50 unlockable Weapon Camos, new attachments, and a series of weekly challenges that reward players with extra items across Multiplayer and Warzone.

Within BlackCell, players will also gain access to an exclusive Mastery Camos track, designed specifically for those looking to complete extra content beyond the standard Battle Pass.

As usual, BlackCell grants several instant benefits right upon purchase.
