You've been asking for it for years and it's here! Well, almost... Motion Twin has announced that a Dead Cells animated series WILL BE AVAILABLE IN 2024!

Made, of course, by Bobbypills, the French studio behind the game's animated trailers, the show takes place on (surprise, surprise) a cursed island that's been plagued by a strange plague. After the island's stupid king developed a remedy that ended up turning the entire population into monstrous creatures, prophecies begin to appear depicting a fire-headed hero who will kill the King.

As it happens, this headless hero is real, but saving a kingdom is not on his agenda and he just wants to be left alone. Well, guess who isn't going to be left alone... More information here.
