Team Jade has published the full replay of Delta Force’s second-anniversary season developer stream, giving players another opportunity to catch up before Season Reorientation launches on September 8, 2026. The accompanying announcements outline an update spanning Warfare and Operations, with a new battlefield, an expanded extraction map, a Support Operator and activities that reach beyond conventional firefights.

The season’s headline additions include The Mog, Layali Grove 2.0, and Rover with his canine companion Clover. Fishing and the return of the play-as-a-boss experience Polaris Patrol broaden that lineup, while a new Battle Pass and anniversary rewards provide additional progression goals.

Reorientation is being presented as the opening chapter of the anniversary celebration, with further festivities scheduled later in September.

The Mog Brings Black Hawk Down to Warfare

Warfare’s major addition is The Mog, a new map inspired by Black Hawk Down. Its official presentation describes helicopters overhead, street-level battles and a convoy advancing through checkpoints, bringing a recognisable setting into Delta Force’s large-scale multiplayer combat.

That combination suggests a battlefield where movement through the city and pressure around the convoy will be central to the experience. For squads, the appeal is a new environment in which to coordinate advances, cover teammates and respond to threats across an urban battlefront.

The Mog also accompanies visual improvements. Team Jade is advertising a higher-fidelity presentation for compatible PC hardware, while console players will receive an FSR upgrade intended to reduce blur and improve image clarity.

Those improvements are separate from the map’s tactical design, but together they establish The Mog as both a new Warfare destination and a showcase for the season’s presentation upgrades.

Layali Grove 2.0 Opens New Routes Through Familiar Territory

Operations players will return to a substantially revised Layali Grove. The 2.0 update introduces three new zones and reworked waterways, expanding the map’s exploration possibilities while changing how players can move through it.

New water vehicles support those routes, and the wider update adds characters, quests and activities. The changes therefore extend beyond the appearance of familiar locations: there will be additional destinations to investigate and new reasons to move between them.

For experienced extraction squads, the likely consequence is that established routes will need another look. A waterway that becomes a viable transport corridor can change how players approach an area, where they encounter opposition and which paths they consider when leaving with valuable equipment.

Clover can spot and track enemies. Rover’s aerosol injectors can remove friendly debuffs and anomalies while weakening opponents, and irritant smoke provides another means of disrupting hostile sightlines.

The pairing is designed around creating opportunities to rescue teammates and regain control of a fight. Information from Clover can help a squad understand the danger around it, while Rover’s support tools provide options for responding rather than simply exchanging more gunfire.

On paper, that combination should interest players who favour coordinated team play. Its practical value will depend on positioning, timing and how effectively teammates exploit the opportunities it creates.

The announcement establishes a broader support identity than healing alone: detection, recovery and disruption all form part of the duo’s contribution, without requiring Clover to be treated as a separate playable Operator.

Fishing Adds a Different Kind of Equipment Preparation

Reorientation also introduces fishing, offering an activity with a substantially different pace from Warfare matches and extraction runs. Players will be able to fish alone or spend time at the water with friends.

The feature includes configurable fishing rods, with equipment preparation taking inspiration from the game’s weapon-customisation approach. Rather than using one fixed setup, players can tailor their fishing equipment before heading out.

This is an interesting extension of a familiar Delta Force habit: adjusting equipment for the task ahead. Here, that preparation supports a more relaxed activity instead of another combat loadout.

Fishing also gives the season a social component alongside its competitive additions, providing another way for players to spend time together between higher-pressure sessions.

Polaris Patrol Returns to the Boss’s Side of the Fight

For players seeking another combat challenge, Polaris Patrol brings back the play-as-a-boss experience. The mode places players in the role of Security Director Desmoulins, changing their perspective on an encounter normally approached as an Operator.

Team Jade describes the returning version as an iteration on the earlier experience, with adjustments intended to create a more balanced boss encounter. That is a development goal rather than a verdict on the finished mode, but it confirms that the return is being accompanied by changes.

The attraction is the altered role itself. Playing the boss creates a different set of expectations from entering a conventional raid, and gives returning players another way to experience Delta Force’s combat beyond the new maps and Operator.

Anniversary Rewards Continue Beyond Season Launch

Reorientation’s Battle Pass begins on September 8, with its advertised reward period extending through November. One of the highlighted cosmetics is Netrunner for Hackclaw, introducing another appearance option alongside the season’s broader collection of rewards.

The anniversary schedule also continues beyond launch week. Celebrations beginning on September 26 will offer opportunities to earn 3,900 time-limited Delta Tickets during the season.

The distinction between those dates matters: September 8 marks the arrival of Reorientation, while September 26 begins the later anniversary festivities. The ticket announcement should not be read as a promise that the full amount will be awarded immediately when the season opens.

New weapons, appearances and events also form part of the announced lineup. Together with the Battle Pass, they extend the update’s progression and collection options beyond its headline gameplay additions.
