Delta Force’s crocodile has one final piece of advice for Operators still sitting on unused Treasure Maps: stop waiting and start digging. Fortune Run 2026 is now entering its final stretch, with Team Jade’s month-long treasure-hunting event continuing across Operations and Warfare while several of its most valuable reward windows close considerably earlier than the headline September 7 end date. Treasure Maps remain scattered across Ahsarah, rare red-tier collectibles tied to the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln collaboration can still be hunted, Fortune Run Frenzy is accelerating Event EXP gains, and the Limited-Time Delta Ticket Giveaway remains active only until August 28.

The new Fortune Run 2026 | Words From the Crocodile video functions less like a conventional event reveal and more like a warning to players who have postponed the grind. The basic Fortune Run structure has already been live since August 8: carry the appropriate Treasure Map into an Operations deployment, interpret its clue, locate the corresponding cache, recover the prize and survive long enough to extract it. What makes the closing phase important is that Fortune Run does not have one universal expiration date. The core treasure hunt and Jingdezhen relic event continue through September 7, but the free Morning Blossom collaboration bundle ends August 27, Fortune Run Frenzy ends August 27, the Delta Ticket Giveaway closes August 28 and the Limited-Time Delta Tickets themselves expire on September 4 at 23:59:59 UTC.

Fortune Run turns Operations into an extraction-focused treasure hunt

Fortune Run’s Operations component is built around a simple idea that fits Delta Force unusually well: information is valuable only if the squad survives long enough to profit from it. Treasure Maps point toward hidden caches scattered through Zero Dam, Layali Grove, AZ3 Nuclear Plant, Brakkesh and Space City, with individual event nodes gradually opening between August 8 and August 12. Zero Dam and Layali Grove were available from the beginning, Nuclear Plant and Brakkesh joined on August 10, and Space City completed the five-map hunt on August 12. Team Jade’s official event descriptions repeatedly emphasize the same sequence: bring the relevant Treasure Map into the correct restricted zone, decipher the clue, locate the hidden treasure and successfully extract with what was recovered.

That final requirement prevents Fortune Run from becoming a menu-based collectible exercise. Solving the clue is only half the problem. Once the cache is opened, the recovered item becomes another reason to avoid unnecessary fights, reconsider the route toward extraction and treat nearby squads as a direct threat to the time already invested in the hunt. Secondary documentation of the live event identifies 60 Treasure Maps distributed across the five Operations environments and notes that special clue locations can produce guaranteed red-tier rewards. The exact treasure route therefore becomes another layer of Operations knowledge alongside safes, high-value rooms, boss routes and extraction timing.

Every map has its own clue language

The crocodile’s statement that “every map has a clue” is more literal than a simple promotional slogan. Each Fortune Run environment uses recognizable landmarks and environmental details to guide players toward its caches. Team Jade describes Zero Dam’s activity around secret signals and buried treasure, Layali Grove around following tracks through the environment, AZ3 around hidden signals beneath particular structures, Brakkesh around clues near locations such as the bathhouse and trees, and Space City around more difficult references involving landmarks near the cactus and dock.

That makes map familiarity directly useful. A player who already knows how Brakkesh’s alleys connect or where Space City’s major landmarks sit can move from clue to cache much faster than somebody treating the Treasure Map like an isolated puzzle. Fortune Run effectively repurposes locations players have spent months learning for combat and extraction into a second navigational game. The strongest squads do not need to stop and inspect every wall because they can translate a vague clue into a likely sector immediately, and that speed matters when another team may be carrying the same objective into the same part of the map.

Treasure Map supply has been expanded repeatedly as the event progressed

Fortune Run’s original acquisition method was the Fortune Travel Bag event from August 8 through August 13. Searching Travel Bags in the five eligible Operations maps provided a chance to obtain that map’s Treasure Map, giving players the keys required to begin hunting caches. When that window ended, Team Jade replaced it with additional supply sources rather than allowing the event to become inaccessible to late participants. From August 14 onward, the Fortune Field Supply Box event has allowed players to search Field Supply Boxes across Zero Dam, Layali Grove, Brakkesh, Space City and AZ3 for Treasure Maps, with milestone rewards adding another three Treasure Map Supply Selection Packs.

The August 13 update expanded the event shop as well, adding 20 Treasure Map Supply Selection Packs that can be purchased with event tokens earned through active missions. A separate Treasure Map Giveaway ran from August 13 through August 20, while the Ratty events have provided additional map-specific opportunities. The current Ratty’s Heart-Fluttering, running through August 27, places Ratty in Brakkesh, Zero Dam and Layali Grove; performing the Hand Heart action with him awards that map’s Treasure Map.

That continuous expansion is important because the event is now approaching its final two weeks. Players who ignored the original Travel Bags have not permanently missed the treasure hunt, but the remaining acquisition routes are becoming progressively more important. The crocodile’s warning is essentially aimed at anyone accumulating maps faster than they are actually using them.

Fortune Run Frenzy is the current catch-up window

Team Jade accelerated the late-event grind on August 21 with Fortune Run Frenzy, a limited Operations event active only through August 27. The requirement is deliberately broad: search containers during matches to complete Frenzy missions and earn large amounts of Fortune EXP, which can then be spent through the Fortune Run reward structure.

This makes the current week particularly efficient because normal Operations behaviour contributes automatically. Players do not need to abandon the broader mode and repeatedly enter a separate event playlist. Searching containers while moving through a raid progresses the Frenzy missions, while Treasure Maps, Jingdezhen relic hunts and ordinary extraction objectives can be pursued in the same deployment. That overlap is useful for anyone who joined Fortune Run late or still needs several Event Store rewards because the game is effectively rewarding the same looting behaviour through multiple parallel systems.

The important deadline is August 27. Fortune Run itself does not disappear at that point, but this accelerated source of Fortune EXP does. Waiting until September to begin spending Treasure Maps therefore remains possible, but it means doing so after one of the better catch-up mechanisms has already closed.

The Jingdezhen collaboration turns real ceramic heritage into red-tier Operations treasure

Fortune Run is also tied to one of Delta Force’s most unusual real-world collaborations. Team Jade partnered with the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln heritage project to bring traditional Chinese porcelain imagery into the game, connecting the broader treasure hunt with three event relics: Snowscarlet Vase, Ducktor Sui and Winner Chicken Cup. The official Relics of the Porcelain Capital event runs from August 8 through September 7, and players can inspect the three pieces through the event interface in 3D while reading their associated stories.

The collaboration is substantially more grounded in real cultural heritage than the names might initially suggest. Jingdezhen in Jiangxi Province has produced ceramics for more than 1,700 years, and the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Institute now maintains an enormous archaeological archive that includes material recovered from layers of discarded imperial ceramics. Recent reporting describes nearly 20 million shards recovered from the city’s archaeological deposits and an ancient-ceramics “gene bank” created to catalogue characteristics such as shape, glaze, pigment, firing marks and material composition.

Ducktor Sui is particularly interesting because the seemingly playful character originates from genuine Ming-dynasty archaeology. Xinhua identifies it as a popular Jingdezhen cultural icon derived from broken porcelain recovered and reconstructed by the Imperial Kiln Institute, while Chinese cultural-design documentation traces the design to Chenghua-period tricolour duck-shaped incense burners excavated from the imperial kiln sites.

Delta Force is using the collaboration for more than one cosmetic

The porcelain theme began before Fortune Run itself. On July 31, Delta Force launched a cross-mode collaboration event allowing players to earn Event EXP and unlock the Morning Blossom Bundle and Armament Vouchers for free. Team Jade describes the collection as a meeting between traditional porcelain craftsmanship and modern tactical firearms, and the event remains active only through August 27.

Fortune Run then extended that collaboration beyond weapon appearance rewards and into the Operations economy. Instead of porcelain existing only as visual decoration on firearms, the event places relics inside the extraction loop, encouraging players to treat them like genuinely valuable objects that must be located and brought out safely. That is thematically appropriate for a game mode where the difference between an interesting object and a meaningful reward is whether the Operator survives the return journey.

The collaboration also fits Fortune Run’s broader idea of buried value. Jingdezhen’s real archaeological story involves enormous quantities of broken ceramics being excavated, studied and reconstructed centuries after they were discarded. Fortune Run converts that logic into a fictional Ahsarah treasure hunt: fragments of cultural value are scattered beneath dangerous territory and become meaningful again only when somebody finds them.

The 2,600 Limited-Time Delta Tickets have the most urgent major deadline

For players more interested in premium-style currency than treasure hunting, the most important Fortune Run component is the Delta Ticket Giveaway. It runs from August 8 through August 28 and guarantees 2,600 Limited-Time Delta Tickets in total to players who complete the required login, daily mission and milestone progression. The original launch promotion began with a special supply pack guaranteeing at least 1,000 Limited-Time Delta Tickets, followed by further ticket and ticket-pack rewards obtained through the event milestones.

The crucial detail is that the tickets do not remain permanently on the account. Official event information states that Limited-Time Delta Tickets expire at 23:59:59 UTC on September 4, 2026. That creates two separate deadlines: August 28 is the final date for the giveaway progression, while September 4 is the point at which any remaining Limited-Time Delta Tickets themselves cease to be usable.

Anyone still missing giveaway milestones should therefore prioritize them before spending the final days of Fortune Run exclusively on Treasure Maps. The hidden caches remain available until September 7; the ticket progression does not. Likewise, players who already obtained all 2,600 tickets should avoid treating them like standard permanent currency and forgetting about them until the event disappears.

Fortune Run has its own reward track beyond the ticket giveaway

The event’s free rewards are distributed across several systems rather than one single progression bar. Fortune Run: Hidden Cache Tracking can unlock the Epic National Elegance – QJB201 firearm appearance, Good Stuff Calling Card, Check Cards Spray Paint and Treasure Map Selection Packs. Individual Operations treasure nodes reward Event EXP and exchange materials, while the Fortune Run shop contains additional map packs and limited rewards.

Warfare has its own parallel activity through Fortune Run: Gold Boom, which remains available until September 7. Rather than forcing Warfare players into extraction mechanics, Gold Boom introduces treasure-hunting elements directly into large-scale battles and offers the Smart Pioneer series vehicle appearances for the fighter aircraft, LAV-AA and Wheeled Tank Destroyer alongside the National Elegance QJB201 appearance, limited Spray Paint and a Premium Weapon EXP Token.

This dual-mode structure is one of the better aspects of Fortune Run. Operations naturally supports the full treasure-map fantasy because extraction gives rare objects meaningful risk, while Warfare needs faster objectives that do not ask a 48-player battle to behave like an extraction raid. Team Jade preserves the theme while adapting its implementation to each mode rather than forcing identical rules everywhere.

Successful extraction is what makes Treasure Maps valuable

Fortune Run’s design works particularly well inside Operations because locating the cache does not end the challenge. Secondary live-event documentation confirms that the reward is secured only after the treasure has been successfully extracted; dying before reaching extraction means losing the treasure and therefore the reward attached to that run.

That creates a very different emotional rhythm from collecting a hidden object in a conventional shooter event. The most dangerous moment may actually come after solving the puzzle. Once the cache contains something valuable, continuing to loot ordinary containers becomes a question of greed rather than efficiency. A squad carrying a high-value red reward has a strong reason to shorten the raid, avoid unnecessary gunfire and select an extraction route that does not pass through the most obvious PvP hotspot.

Other players can exploit that behaviour. Known Fortune Run sectors become natural ambush locations because Operators entering with Treasure Maps have predictable reasons to visit them. A team does not necessarily need the clue if it knows another squad is already solving it. The treasure hunt consequently adds PvP pressure indirectly, with the potential for the most valuable encounter of the raid to happen between the cache and extraction.

The guaranteed-red treasure points have become the event’s real endgame chase

Community mapping of Fortune Run has identified 12 treasure positions per eligible Operations map, with Point 8 on each map associated with guaranteed red-tier treasure. While those detailed route breakdowns come from community documentation rather than Team Jade’s short official event descriptions, they explain why experienced players have shifted from random treasure hunting toward targeted map usage as Fortune Run progresses.

Once players understand which map corresponds to which clue and where the valuable sites are located, Fortune Run stops being a scavenger hunt and becomes route optimization. The question changes from “Where is the treasure?” to “How quickly can we reach it, how likely is another squad to contest it and which extraction gives us the highest chance of leaving with the result?” That transition is natural in an extraction shooter. Knowledge gradually replaces mystery, and the remaining excitement comes from whether other players allow the plan to work.

The Jingdezhen relics make those high-tier runs more desirable because Fortune Run now contains red collectibles that exist only as part of the limited collaboration. Players interested in completing the event collection therefore have a reason to keep digging even after they have already obtained the straightforward cosmetic and Event Store rewards.

Fortune Run has been deliberately refreshed every week instead of remaining static

Team Jade has avoided letting the August 8 event sit unchanged for a month. The August 13 update added new Treasure Map supply, Ratty interactions and additional store inventory. The August 20 update followed with Fortune Run Frenzy and Ratty’s Heart-Fluttering, while the core map activities and Relics of the Porcelain Capital remain active underneath those temporary layers.

This staggered design serves two purposes. First, it gives regular players new reasons to return after they have already learned the original treasure locations. Second, it creates catch-up opportunities for anyone arriving late. More Treasure Map packs, easier Event EXP and alternative acquisition methods reduce the penalty for not having started on August 8.

The downside is that the event calendar becomes easy to misunderstand because several activities overlap without sharing the same deadline. Fortune Run’s September 7 end date is therefore only a useful headline if players also remember the earlier cutoffs. As of August 24, the most relevant sequence is straightforward: Morning Blossom, Fortune Run Frenzy and Ratty’s Heart-Fluttering end August 27; the Delta Ticket Giveaway ends August 28; Limited-Time Delta Tickets expire September 4; and the core Treasure Map hunts, Jingdezhen relic event and Gold Boom continue until September 7.

The crocodile’s final advice is therefore financially sensible

“Don’t leave fortune buried” sounds like characterful event marketing, but it is also a reasonable summary of the remaining reward structure. Anyone with unused Treasure Maps possesses potential value that disappears once the event closes. Anyone with incomplete Delta Ticket milestones is leaving part of a guaranteed 2,600-ticket allocation unclaimed. Anyone who already earned the tickets but forgets the September 4 expiration risks watching a temporary currency disappear without being spent.

The optimal priority depends on what remains unfinished. Delta Tickets should come first because their earning window closes on August 28 and the currency itself expires September 4. The Morning Blossom collaboration reward and Fortune Run Frenzy deserve attention before August 27. Treasure Maps and Jingdezhen relic hunting have more breathing room because the core Operations event continues until September 7.

Players who have already completed the limited deadlines can then spend the remaining Fortune Run period much more naturally: collect additional Treasure Maps through Field Supply Boxes and the Event Store, choose which Operations environment they want to target, solve the clue, dig up the cache and extract before another squad converts the treasure hunt into an ambush.

Fortune Run works because treasure means something in an extraction shooter

The strongest part of Fortune Run is ultimately how little its central mechanic needs to fight against Delta Force’s normal Operations loop. Treasure Maps provide information, information creates a destination, the destination creates risk and successful extraction converts that risk into permanent reward. No separate PvE dungeon or isolated minigame is required.

The Jingdezhen collaboration gives the hunt more personality than another collection of fictional gold bars would have provided. The Limited-Time Delta Tickets make participation attractive even for players with little interest in collecting red-tier relics, while Warfare’s Gold Boom keeps the event visible outside Operations. The successive Travel Bags, Field Supply Boxes, Treasure Map giveaways, Ratty interactions and Fortune Run Frenzy also ensure that the event has continued evolving since August 8 instead of becoming a solved puzzle after its opening weekend.

Fortune Run’s main treasure-hunting activities remain available until September 7, but several of its most valuable rewards disappear earlier. Fortune Run Frenzy, Ratty’s Heart-Fluttering and the free Morning Blossom collaboration event end August 27; the 2,600 Limited-Time Delta Ticket Giveaway ends August 28; and those Limited-Time Delta Tickets expire on September 4 at 23:59:59 UTC.

The crocodile has already given the clue. The remaining decision is whether Operators use it before the clock runs out.
