Eternal Return’s Path to Conviction Teaser Sets the First Glory Story Episode for 12 November

Eternal Return’s first Glory story episode, Path to Conviction, arrives on Thursday, 12 November 2026, the same day the Season 13 preseason begins. The teaser opens with a question about what someone set out to protect, then challenges the idea that a peaceful world can be built around a single vision of purity. Nimble Neuron is keeping the full story for the game: the official Glory preview directs players to the in-game episode.
Path to Conviction puts the promise of a perfect world on trial
The teaser builds its conflict through dialogue. An early exchange raises the prospect of a world without lies, then asks whether that vision is right. One voice dismisses it as a dream that can never become reality. Another imagines small lights coming together until they’re bright enough to illuminate the world. The contrast gives the episode a question to explore: can people build something better together, or does the pursuit of a supposedly perfect world leave no room for anyone who disagrees?
The final stretch makes the argument personal. A character demands to know how someone else sees them, and the teaser closes on a line about bearing punishment in the name of God. That ending makes duty, obedience and judgement feel central to the story. The available preview leaves the speakers’ relationships unresolved, though, so it’s too early to say whose conviction the title refers to or what any of them will be asked to sacrifice.
Glory’s skins share the episode’s language of faith and judgement
The teaser’s imagery fits the wider Season 13 presentation. ER Pass: Glory features Light of Devotion Abigail, Spear of Conviction István and Blade of Judgement Blair, while Divine Salvation Coraline is the signature outfit in the Glory Season Pack. The season soundtrack is titled Knights of the Dawn. Even the word conviction appears in both the episode title and István’s outfit name. That’s a clear thematic link; the public material doesn’t establish what role each of those characters will play in Episode 1.
The episode and the paid cosmetics also have distinct release details. The Glory Season Pack is due on 12 November, but the standalone ER Pass won’t go on sale until after maintenance on 19 November. The episode preview points players to the game and doesn’t list a purchase requirement or a completion reward for Path to Conviction. The standalone pass date therefore shouldn’t be read as a second release date for the story.
Where to find the episode and Glory’s new webtoons
The official season site has an Episodes section with a View Episode In-Game button. That follows the format Eternal Return used in earlier seasons: the Petit Mignon update listed Maid in Lumia! as an Event Episode in the game’s Archive, and the Sailing patch notes documented a lobby screen reward for completing one of its episodes. Those are useful precedents for where the stories live, though no equivalent reward has been announced for Episode 1 of Glory.
There’s also something for players who follow the game’s comics. On 12 November, Eternal Return is opening a dedicated webtoon page that will gather its stories in one place. Nimble Neuron has already shared Prayer Time, a short comic made for the Season 13 developer stream that features some of the upcoming skins. The webtoon page and the in-game episode are listed separately on the roadmap, giving readers a clear place to look for each.
What else arrives with the 12 November preseason?
For players returning to Lumia Island for both the story and the matches, Glory’s biggest gameplay addition is Research Tasks. Squads can pursue objectives based on gathering special materials, fighting rival players or hunting mutant wildlife. From Day 2, the first field the squad completes determines which research bonus it earns for the match. The roadmap also introduces the Vector Gate, which lets teammates travel to a shared meeting point after splitting up.
The preseason follows the end of Sailing ranked play. Season 12 counts matches started before 23:59 UTC on 11 November. Eligible players who finish at Gold or above will receive Cadet Jan, with rewards scheduled for distribution on 19 November. For players coming back for the story, the date to mark is 12 November: Path to Conviction premieres in the game that day, alongside the preseason and the new webtoon page.
