Epic Games has released a new promotional trailer for Fortnite Crew, placing the spotlight on the growing collection of rewards included with the game’s monthly subscription. Appropriately titled “This Crew is PACKED!”, the video presents the service as an all-in-one package for players who regularly engage with Fortnite’s different experiences and seasonal progression systems.

Fortnite Crew originally centred on a monthly cosmetic set, access to the Battle Pass and a recurring V-Bucks grant. The subscription has since expanded considerably. Members can now access the premium reward tracks of the main Battle Pass, OG Pass, LEGO Pass and Music Pass, while Rocket Pass Premium provides an additional benefit for those who also play Rocket League.

The latest promotion is therefore less about introducing a single new feature and more about reminding players how many separate progression systems are currently grouped into one subscription.

September’s Crew Pack Introduces Prisma

Every month brings a new Crew Pack containing an exclusive Outfit and at least one matching accessory. The items received through these packs remain in the player’s Locker even if the subscription is cancelled later.

For September 2026, the featured character is Prisma, whose colourful design is built around a radiant rainbow aesthetic. The monthly bundle includes the Prisma Outfit, the Prisma Wings Back Bling and the Rainboard Pickaxe. Prisma also has a corresponding LEGO Style for compatible Fortnite experiences.

Crew Pack cosmetics are exclusive to Fortnite Crew and are not normally distributed through the Item Shop. Epic Games does, however, reserve the possibility of making previous Crew Pack items available to subscribers again at a later date. Exclusivity consequently applies to the subscription programme rather than guaranteeing that every monthly Outfit will remain permanently unobtainable after its original release.

Eligible Crew Pack items can also receive additional Crew Styles. After obtaining a compatible Pack, subscribers unlock another Style for every subsequent month during which their membership remains active. This creates a longer progression path around certain monthly cosmetics while giving committed subscribers an incentive to maintain their membership.

Multiple Fortnite Passes Under One Subscription

The largest component of the current Fortnite Crew offering is access to several active passes. Subscribers can claim premium rewards from the standard Battle Pass, OG Pass, LEGO Pass and Music Pass while progressing through their respective reward tracks.

The main Battle Pass remains connected to Fortnite’s current Battle Royale season, providing a collection of Outfits, accessories, V-Bucks and other cosmetic rewards. Its inclusion makes Crew particularly relevant to players who already intend to participate throughout the season.

The OG Pass supports Fortnite OG, the mode created around returning maps, equipment and themes from earlier periods of Fortnite. Its premium track offers a separate selection of rewards, allowing subscribers to progress through both contemporary and nostalgic sides of the game without purchasing each pass individually.

LEGO Fortnite is represented through the LEGO Pass, while players interested in Fortnite Festival receive the Music Pass. XP earned across eligible Fortnite experiences can contribute to progression, reducing the need to remain inside one particular mode simply to advance a specific reward track.

Bringing these passes together reflects how Fortnite has evolved beyond its original Battle Royale structure. The game now operates as a broader ecosystem containing survival experiences, rhythm-based gameplay, nostalgic seasons and thousands of creator-made islands. Fortnite Crew is designed to connect several of those areas through one recurring membership.

Premium Access Depends on an Active Membership

The distinction between obtaining a Crew Pack and accessing a pass is important. Monthly Crew Pack cosmetics that have already been granted are permanent additions to the player’s Locker. Claimed premium pass rewards are also retained after cancellation.

Access to unclaimed premium rewards, however, generally depends on the Fortnite Crew subscription remaining active. If a player cancels, the membership continues until the end of the current billing period. Once that period expires, premium pass rewards can no longer be unlocked through Crew unless the player resubscribes or obtains access to the relevant pass separately.

This system means Fortnite Crew no longer functions simply as a way to permanently acquire every current pass through a single one-month payment. Players intending to finish several premium tracks should consider how much progress they can realistically make before their membership ends.

Free rewards remain available under the normal conditions of each pass, while premium items already claimed are not removed. The restriction concerns continued access to rewards that have not yet been collected.

A Monthly Grant of 800 V-Bucks

Active Fortnite Crew members also receive 800 V-Bucks each month. The currency can be spent on Outfits, Emotes, accessories and other eligible content offered through Fortnite’s Shop.

The V-Bucks are awarded according to the subscriber’s billing schedule rather than automatically arriving whenever a new Crew Pack is released. As a result, the monthly cosmetic refresh and the V-Bucks payment may occur on different dates depending on when the membership began.

Battle Pass progression can provide additional V-Bucks through its own reward structure, but those rewards must be unlocked by playing. The recurring Crew allocation is the portion delivered directly as a subscription benefit.

Rocket Pass Premium Extends the Bundle Beyond Fortnite

Fortnite Crew also includes access to the current Rocket Pass Premium in Rocket League. To receive the benefit correctly, players must use the same Epic Games account across Fortnite and Rocket League.

Rocket Pass Premium opens the paid progression track for the corresponding Rocket League season. Some eligible vehicle items can also support cross-game ownership, although progression requirements and compatibility depend on the individual reward.

The inclusion gives the subscription a wider reach across Epic’s catalogue, especially for players who divide their time between Fortnite and Rocket League. Epic nevertheless describes Rocket Pass Premium as a bonus benefit, meaning its availability may change between future editions of the service.

Fortnite Crew is additionally included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Members using that route must ensure that the correct Xbox and Epic Games accounts are linked, as the benefits are delivered through the associated account rather than being shared freely between unrelated profiles.

A Broader Offer for Fortnite’s Expanding Ecosystem

“This Crew is PACKED!” arrives at a point when Fortnite contains more simultaneous progression tracks than ever before. The subscription’s appeal consequently depends less on one individual Outfit and more on how many parts of the wider ecosystem a player actively uses.

Someone primarily interested in a single mode may not extract the full value of every included pass. Regular players moving between Battle Royale, Fortnite OG, LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival and Rocket League have considerably more opportunities to benefit from the combined package.

The new trailer reinforces that broader positioning. Fortnite Crew is no longer presented merely as a monthly skin subscription, but as a central membership connecting seasonal cosmetics, premium progression and multiple games. September’s Prisma set supplies the immediate visual attraction, while the collection of passes and recurring V-Bucks forms the larger offer behind it.
