Mega Man is preparing to make his Fortnite debut. Epic Games has released a short teaser announcing that Capcom’s legendary Blue Bomber—and at least some of his friends—will soon enter the battle royale’s expanding universe.

Although the message confirms the collaboration, Epic has deliberately withheld most of the practical details surrounding it. The crossover is not entirely unexpected. When Epic introduced Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override in August, Mega Man was already included among the gaming properties scheduled to receive new outfits and items throughout the season. Mega Man’s long-established relationship with copied weapons, technological upgrades and transformations makes him a natural addition to that concept.
