Forza Horizon 6 celebrates Italian Exotics with Ferraris Lamborghinis and a new Aftermarket takeover

Forza Horizon 6 is shifting the spotlight from Japan’s festival roads to Italy’s most desirable machines with Italian Exotics, the latest Series update for Playground Games’ open-world racer. The new trailer presents a content drop built around rare supercars, new Festival Playlist rewards, a fresh Italian Passion Car Pack, more EventLab creation tools and a limited-time Italian Aftermarket Takeover that gives players another way to chase some of the game’s rarest exotics.

Italian Exotics adds three new-to-Horizon Festival Playlist rewards

The core of the update is the new Italian Exotics Festival Playlist series, which brings 10 Series Reward cars across its four-week run. Three of those are new-to-Horizon additions: the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario, the 2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder and the 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5.

That lineup gives the series a useful spread of Italian performance history. The Temerario represents Lamborghini’s modern era, the Huracán EVO Spyder brings open-top supercar theater, and the Pantera GT5 adds the older wedge-shaped brutality that makes De Tomaso such a strong fit for Horizon’s collector culture.

The update’s appeal is direct: players who enjoy building a garage around rare, aspirational and high-performance cars now have a month built almost entirely around that fantasy. In a game already set against the visual contrast of Horizon Japan, Italian Exotics gives the Festival Playlist a different flavor without needing to leave the current map.

Italian Passion Car Pack brings four premium cars to the garage

The biggest paid-content addition is the Italian Passion Car Pack, now available for Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade players at no additional cost, and also sold separately. The pack includes four new-to-Horizon cars: the 2025 Ferrari F80, 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider, 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm and 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP.

The Ferrari F80 is the modern headline act. In the official write-up, Playground highlights it as Ferrari’s 80th-anniversary milestone car, with 1,200 horsepower and extreme aerodynamic performance. The Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider, by contrast, is pure collector material: a classic open-top Ferrari with only 10 units produced in the real world.

The two Alfa Romeos give the pack more mechanical variety. The Giulia GTAm brings modern road-legal track aggression, while the SE 048SP reaches into Group C prototype history with a Ferrari-sourced 3.5-liter V12 and carbon-fiber construction. That makes the pack more interesting than a simple supercar bundle. It covers modern hypercar engineering, classic Ferrari rarity, modern Alfa performance and historic prototype racing.

For Premium players, the timing is especially useful. The pack was promised as part of the premium content roadmap, and Italian Exotics gives it a clear thematic home rather than dropping it as an isolated DLC.

The Aftermarket dealership becomes an Italian hunting ground

The update also temporarily rebrands the Aftermarket dealership near Horizon Stadium in the Shimanoyama region with an Italian focus. This is not just a cosmetic dressing. The dealership can feature a selection of Italian cars, including six vehicles that are normally tied to Wheelspins: the 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO, 2012 Ferrari 599XX Evolution, 2019 Ferrari F8 Tributo, 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and 1999 Lamborghini Diablo GTR.

That is one of the more practical parts of the update. Wheelspin-exclusive cars can be frustrating because their availability depends heavily on luck. Putting them into the Aftermarket dealership creates a more directed path, even if players will still need to watch stock, pricing and timing.

For collectors, this may be as important as the Festival Playlist. The new reward cars are obvious targets, but the Aftermarket rotation gives players a chance to fill gaps in their Italian garage with machines that are normally harder to obtain on demand.

EventLab gets 52 new props for creators

Italian Exotics is not only about cars. The update also expands EventLab, Customizable Garages and The Estate with 52 new props. These include new festival props, gameplay props, urban objects, wall and fence pieces, and additional variants for existing props.

This is a strong quality-of-life addition for builders. Forza Horizon’s creator scene depends on environmental variety, and every prop expansion gives EventLab authors more tools for custom routes, themed arenas, photo spaces, stunt setups and community challenges. The new props include objects such as a Start Gantry, Mech Mascot, Tank Mascot, coin lockers, vending machines, city furniture and Japanese-style fence elements.

The presence of Horizon Decades branding and mascot props also helps connect this update to recent Festival history, making EventLab feel more integrated with the live-service calendar rather than separated from it.

Fixes leaderboards and long-term rewards round out the update

The Italian Exotics patch also includes several gameplay and systems improvements. Playground says it has worked to reduce excessive AI collisions on corner entries, fixed an issue with the LINK Clean Sweep Skill, removed the Auction House price cap for cars not purchasable in the Autoshow and addressed multiple exploits related to XP, credit and Skill Point farming.

The update also resets all Rivals Leaderboards after exploit-related issues polluted times with unrealistic entries. That is a disruptive move for players with legitimate records, but it gives the competitive side of the game a cleaner baseline going forward.

There is also a new Series History Reward structure. The first reward is the 1972 Mazda Cosmo 110S Series II, earned by accumulating 500 lifetime Festival Playlist points. That is a smart addition because it rewards long-term engagement across multiple series rather than only weekly completion.

A garage-focused Series with real collector value

Italian Exotics works because it gives different types of Forza Horizon 6 players something concrete. Playlist grinders get three new-to-Horizon reward cars. Premium players get the Italian Passion Car Pack. Collectors get an Italian Aftermarket takeover with rare Wheelspin-exclusive cars. Creators get 52 new props. Competitive players get cleaned-up Rivals Leaderboards.

The update does not radically change how Horizon Japan plays, but it does strengthen the game’s live-service rhythm. It gives players a clear four-week theme, a strong garage identity and enough surrounding improvements to feel like more than a car drop.

For anyone building an Italian collection, this is the Series to prioritize. The roads may still be Japanese, but for the next few weeks, the festival belongs to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo and De Tomaso.
