Garena has revealed the free reward structure accompanying the return of Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Chapter 1. Players participating in the crossover can select either the new Hinata Bundle or the returning Jiraiya Bundle as their principal free reward, alongside additional themed items available through the event.
The announcement also confirms that the Nine Tails is once again attacking Bermuda, continuing the premise of the original crossover while introducing content intended to make this more than a straightforward rerun. Hinata’s arrival gives returning players something genuinely new to pursue, while the Jiraiya Bundle provides another opportunity to obtain one of Chapter 1’s most recognizable rewards.
Garena has not provided a complete global reward calendar or a universal closing date in the written announcement. Players should therefore consult the event interface available on their own server before making their selection or planning their progression.
Players must choose between Hinata and Jiraiya
The central decision is simple but important: the promotion offers a choice between the Hinata Bundle and the Jiraiya Bundle. Garena’s wording presents them as alternatives, meaning players should not assume that completing the event will automatically unlock both outfits.
Hinata is the obvious option for collectors who participated in the original Chapter 1 campaign. Her bundle was not part of that event’s principal character lineup, making it the clearest new cosmetic addition to the returning collaboration. Its introduction expands a collection that previously featured outfits inspired by Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, Sakura Haruno and Jiraiya.
The Jiraiya Bundle, meanwhile, carries considerably more history within Free Fire. It served as the headline mission reward during the original Naruto Shippuden collaboration in January 2025. Bringing it back gives newer players a second opportunity to obtain the outfit without relying on a premium draw or an uncertain store rotation.
Neither option is inherently better. Veteran players who already own Jiraiya’s outfit will naturally gravitate toward Hinata, while newcomers may have to decide which character they value more. Players should examine every component shown in the selection interface before confirming, particularly if the game treats that decision as permanent.
Hinata gives the returning chapter a new identity
Reintroducing an old collaboration always creates a difficult balance. New players want access to items and gameplay they previously missed, but veterans need a reason to return beyond nostalgia. Hinata helps Garena address both groups.
Her addition is thematically appropriate for a campaign built around the Hidden Leaf Village and the Nine Tails. Hinata’s story in NARUTO SHIPPUDEN is closely associated with perseverance, loyalty and her willingness to confront enemies far stronger than herself. That makes her a natural fit for an event centered on protecting the village from another large-scale attack.
It is also a more meaningful addition than simply recoloring an existing costume. Hinata fills a visible gap in the collaboration’s roster and gives Chapter 1 a recognizable feature that distinguishes the 2026 edition from its original release.
The reward announcement focuses on her cosmetic bundle rather than presenting Hinata as a separate Free Fire character with an independent ability. Players should therefore avoid confusing the collaboration outfit with a new addition to the game’s standard character roster unless Garena announces such a feature separately.
Chapter 1 originally transformed Bermuda
The first Free Fire x NARUTO SHIPPUDEN collaboration ran from January 10 to February 8, 2025. Garena described it at the time as the battle royale’s largest anime collaboration, and its scope extended considerably beyond character outfits.
Rim Nam Village on Bermuda was replaced by a recreation of the Hidden Leaf Village. Players could explore recognizable locations such as Hokage Rock, the Hokage Mansion, the Ninja Arena, Naruto’s house and the Ichiraku Ramen Shop. The restaurant even had a practical purpose: eating ramen provided an Energy Point benefit that lasted through the match.
The Nine Tails attack also affected the opening of Battle Royale games. Depending on what Kurama targeted, the match could begin under different conditions. An attack on the aircraft could eject the entire lobby together, while strikes against arsenals or the village altered the availability of resources and the state of the environment.
Ninjutsu Scrolls added another layer to normal combat. These temporary powers could damage opponents, break Gloo Walls or help players close the distance during an engagement. Chapter 1 also introduced a Summoning Reanimation Jutsu-themed revival point and brought Naruto mechanics into Clash Squad through special airdrops and combat items.
The returning campaign has been promoted with new Ninjutsu and another Nine Tails attack, although Garena has not yet published a complete written breakdown of every power available in this version. The important distinction is that Chapter 1 was designed as a gameplay crossover, not merely a collection of cosmetics.
More themed rewards are part of the campaign
Hinata and Jiraiya are the headline choices, but Garena says that players can unlock additional Naruto-themed rewards. The announcement stops short of naming the entire current catalogue, so older reward lists should not automatically be treated as confirmation of what is available in the returning event.
During the original 2025 campaign, mission-based rewards included the Jiraiya Bundle, a Naruto Battle Card, a themed Gloo Wall, Rock Lee headwear and a Hidden Leaf Village headband. Garena also released the Naruto Multi-Look Changer, which featured Sage Mode and Kurama Link Mode appearances, alongside premium outfits based on other major characters.
The broader collection included an M4A1 inspired by Naruto, the Snake Sword Katana, the Hokage Rock Gloo Wall, a Ninja’s Scroll backpack, a Nine Tails Skywing and an arrival animation based on Kurama’s attack. Free Fire’s first Super Emote also debuted during the collaboration, allowing players to summon Gamabunta outside combat.
Some of those items provide useful context for the scale of Chapter 1, but their presence in the original event does not guarantee that every reward has returned under the same conditions. The safest approach is to separate the newly confirmed free bundle choice from the historical catalogue until each item appears in the current client.
A free headline bundle makes the event more accessible
Large Free Fire collaborations usually combine free progression with premium draws, stores or Luck Royale events. That model can support a wide catalogue, but it can also leave non-spending players with only minor accessories while the most desirable outfits remain locked behind Diamonds.
Making either Hinata or Jiraiya obtainable for free gives the returning Chapter 1 event a more substantial participation reward. A complete character-inspired bundle is more meaningful than an avatar or temporary token, especially in a crossover where the visual identity of each character is the main attraction.
The choice also gives the event some flexibility. Rather than awarding the same legacy outfit to everyone, Garena allows experienced players to pursue the new Hinata Bundle while preserving Jiraiya as an accessible alternative for those who missed him the first time.
The quality of the system will ultimately depend on its requirements. A free reward can still become frustrating if it demands an excessive number of matches in a short period or relies on poorly explained regional schedules. The latest announcement confirms the reward choice but does not detail every mission, progression threshold or deadline in writing.
Players should consequently open the collaboration interface, review the conditions and begin making progress before the final days of the event. They should also confirm the selected bundle carefully rather than assuming the decision can be changed later.
The Nine Tails returns with rewards worth defending
The revived Chapter 1 combines one of Free Fire’s most ambitious crossover environments with a reward structure that directly addresses both new and returning players. Hinata supplies the new attraction, Jiraiya preserves access to a popular legacy prize, and the additional themed rewards give participants objectives beyond the main bundle.
More importantly, the return restores the elements that made the original collaboration memorable: the Hidden Leaf Village, Ninjutsu-driven encounters and the disruption caused by the Nine Tails across Bermuda.
Garena still needs to communicate the complete reward list and regional schedule clearly. What has already been confirmed, however, is enough to establish the event’s main proposition: enter the Naruto Shippuden campaign, confront Kurama’s latest attack and earn one of two full character bundles without paying for the headline reward.
