Genshin Impact unveils Reflection of the Moon, a haunting story teaser about the beauty and danger of human wishes

HoYoverse has released “Reflection of the Moon,” a mesmerizing new Genshin Impact teaser that explores the immense power of human desire — and the devastating consequences that come when that power turns astray.

The short delivers a chilling yet emotional message: wishes can move mountains, but when guided by the wrong intent or moment, they can also bring ruin. Through stunning visuals and poignant narration, Genshin Impact once again blurs the line between beauty and sorrow, reminding players that even the purest dreams can cast long shadows.

With its ethereal tone, evocative score, and breathtaking animation, “Reflection of the Moon” stands as another testament to HoYoverse’s mastery of emotional storytelling.

A wish, after all, is just a reflection — and sometimes, what we see in the light of the moon isn’t what we hoped it would be.
