Glorkian Warrior: The Trials of Glork is a delirious mix of pure Galaga-style alien gameplay, simple platforming action and Saturday morning cartoons.

In terms of graphics, it’s nothing but flawless. We’re talking about a collaboration between Eisner Award-winning comic book artist James Kochalka, and independent game studio Pixeljam, creators of the epically prehistoric DINO RUN.

The main objective is to help the Glorkian warrior and his trusty Super Backpack fight off the endless onslaught of alien creatures, and to be ready for anything at all... The magic robot appears when we least expect it and there could be a shower of basketballs... or even kittens!

Something else that stands out is that invader flight patterns and formations have been procedurally generated, with countless landscapes to explore.
