PlayWay S.A. and the development studio Rejected Games bring us this adventure of elements of creation, development, and tool management, with 3D graphics and scenarios to move around in 2D.

Mr. Prepper, by Rejected Games, poses a science fiction scenario. We know something is wrong: the risk of nuclear war is in the air so it is imperative to prepare for what is coming.

The end of the world is inevitable and faced with the possibility, not only of a natural catastrophe but also of human stupidity, our protagonist wants to live with the peace of mind that he has a place to take refuge. And if that place protects him from external conditions, it feeds him and allows him to sleep better than better. In these moments, the will to survive, the ability to control fear, and our knowledge and resources can save our lives.

In other words, the most important thing in Mr. Prepper is his attitude towards the problem. Therefore, the first thing we must do is turn our house into a safer place, an impregnable bunker where we can enjoy our privacy and rest, at the same time as we build farms, tools, vehicles... Of course, a meticulously designed and built structure is of little use if there is not enough inside to survive. This implies that the cabin must have a pantry to contain all this subsistence cargo. Simply put, Mr. Prepper is all about being prepared.

Of course, it also involves certain risks that must be considered. Our protagonist lives in a country that was once the land of the free, but now finds himself trapped according to the rules established by a totalitarian government, with propaganda and political persecution being the driving forces that facilitate this task. This means that the whole of society must be integrated into national politics, that the individuals among whom Mr. Prepper is found feel part of the State and develop extreme loyalty, even higher than that shown to one's own family.

Leadership is strong and, furthermore, it develops its power in an unpredictable and limitless way. He doesn't want us to enjoy our privacy, he wants us to remain under his control, and the Rejected Games title stands out above all for hiding its sharpest criticisms in the best possible hiding place: in plain sight. Satire is essential throughout the entire adventure and carries out a brutal dissection to expose the guts of totalitarianism. In short, this game teaches us a lesson perhaps we should consider now, more than ever: the virus of totalitarianism can enter almost any body and that we must detect it before it is too late.
