Broken Covenant Jhin takes centre stage as MSI 2026’s revenue-share skin

Broken Covenant Jhin has arrived as one of the key in-game releases tied to MSI 2026, giving League of Legends players a new cosmetic themed around the international tournament while contributing directly to the competitive ecosystem.

Riot Games has confirmed that a portion of revenue generated through Broken Covenant Jhin and its associated bundles will be distributed among the LoL Esports teams competing during the 2026 season. The skin is positioned as the official revenue-share cosmetic for this year’s Mid-Season Invitational, making it more than a standard themed release during one of League’s largest events.

Jhin becomes MSI 2026’s official revenue-share champion

Riot had previously revealed that the Broken Covenant skin line would return around MSI with cosmetics for Aurora, Shen and Jhin, while confirming that Jhin would receive the tournament’s dedicated revenue-share skin. The release now places the Virtuoso at the centre of MSI’s commercial and cosmetic campaign, following Riot’s wider approach of linking selected purchases to support for professional League of Legends competition.

The standard Broken Covenant Jhin skin costs 1,350 RP, while Riot is also offering a Border Set Bundle for 2,660 RP and a Chroma Bundle for 4,110 RP. Individual chromas are available separately for 290 RP, giving players several purchase options depending on how much of the cosmetic package they want to collect.

The skin’s launch trailer frames Jhin around the tournament’s Call Your Shot identity, a campaign built around risk, rivalry and high-pressure international competition. It is a natural fit for a champion whose presentation has always revolved around theatrical precision, spectacle and calculated execution.

MSI Winner cosmetics will follow the tournament final

Broken Covenant Jhin will not be the only cosmetic tied to MSI 2026. Riot has also confirmed that, once the tournament winner is crowned, the game will receive dedicated MSI Winner accessories: an icon priced at 250 RP and an emote priced at 350 RP.

Players from the winning region will be able to obtain those celebration cosmetics for 1 Blue Essence each, creating an additional reward for fans whose regional representative lifts the trophy. Riot has stated that a share of the revenue from both Broken Covenant Jhin and the later MSI Winner offerings will support teams participating in the 2026 LoL Esports ecosystem.

This approach follows Riot’s ongoing effort to connect major esports events with in-game monetisation in a more visible way. Rather than presenting tournament cosmetics as purely commemorative items, the model gives fans a clearer link between purchases and the professional scene they are watching.

MSI 2026 brings international League back to Daejeon

MSI 2026 is being held in Daejeon, South Korea, at the Daejeon Convention Center II. The tournament begins with its Play-In Stage from June 28 to July 1, before moving into the Bracket Stage from July 3 to July 6 and again from July 8 to July 12. The Grand Final is scheduled for July 12.

The event features representatives from the LPL, LCK, LEC, LCS, LCP and CBLOL, including teams such as T1, Hanwha Life Esports, G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, Bilibili Gaming, Top Esports, Team Liquid Alienware and FURIA. MSI remains League of Legends’ most important mid-season international event, with regional pride, tournament prestige and World Championship qualification implications all on the line.

For Jhin mains, the new skin offers a high-profile cosmetic tied directly to one of the biggest competitive moments of the year.
