The League of Legends competitive scene continues to expand its inclusive spaces with the return ofLeague of LegendsGame Changers: Rising 2026—the official EMEA competition for anyone who identifies as a woman.

Following its inaugural edition, Riot is now doubling down with a much more solid and long-term structure. The circuit will run from May to October, offering constant competition and a clearer path of progression for the participating teams.

The initial kick off will take place on May 29, 30, and 31, where six Teams will look to secure Playoff spots alongside invited teams from national inclusive competitions. This approach aims to better connect the regional ecosystem and strengthen the pathways to high-level competitive play.

The new format introduces a qualifying points system, where teams will accumulate results stage by stage to determine which six organizations advance to the final Playoffs in October. Consistency is now just as important as individual talent.

Additionally, the event will feature community broadcasting and co-streaming via N.E.O., boosting the competition's visibility and bringing it closer to the community.

Beyond the format, the central message is clear: to build an environment where more women can compete at the highest level and be recognized for their performance within Esports. Riot makes it clear that this isn't just about organizing a tournament, but about developing a sustainable long-term scene.

Last year’s edition ended with a victory for Eterna, but this year the goal is to see new rivalries emerge, new names rise, and an even stronger scene take shape.

With Rising 2026 ready to go, the competition enters a new era of growth.

Now, the question is clear: who will take the next step to become the new benchmark for Game Changers in EMEA? More information here.
