League of Legends pits the Sun against the Moon in a new skin line charged with cosmic tension

Riot Games has officially revealed more details regarding the new skins for LeonaandDiana within the Eternity theme—a collection that once again places both champions at the center of a celestial conflict capable of shifting the balance of Runeterra. Based on the new trailer, this line is not merely another cosmetic collection; it is a visual narrative built around an alliance on the brink of collapse.

The story presented by Riot revolves around entities known as the Golden Sun and the Silver Moon, ancient forces tasked with protecting the world. However, the emergence of a new power threatens to shatter the harmony between these two concepts, pushing the relationship between Diana and Leona into a much darker and more dramatic tension.

This approach fits perfectly with the symbolism both champions have represented for years within League of Legends lore. The opposition between sun and moon, faith and rebellion, duty and freedom returns to center stage, this time on a cosmic and almost divine scale.

Visually, Riot seems to have pushed the artistic quality of this line to one of its recent peaks. Eternal Aspect Leona features a majestic presence dominated by golden armor, solar energy, and highly intricate lighting effects.
