T1 and BLG on the brink of elimination in a ruthless Worlds 2025

24/10/2025 - 11:35

Pressure — it breaks the weak but forges champions. At Worlds 2025, that pressure has reached its boiling point as T1 and BLG, last year’s grand finalists, now stand on the edge of elimination with a 1-2 record. One more loss, and their journey ends far sooner than anyone expected.

For T1, the next challenge is 100 Thieves, North America’s rising force that already stunned BLG earlier in the Swiss Stage. T1 enters as the favorite, but underestimating 100T could be their undoing. With the organization’s legacy on the line, Faker and company must prove once again why they’ve become synonymous with greatness in League of Legends history.

Meanwhile, BLG faces off against VKS. In any other year, the Chinese powerhouse would be the obvious favorite, but inconsistency has plagued them throughout this tournament. To stay alive, they’ll need to rediscover the discipline and precision that once defined their rise to dominance.

As Day 8 of the Swiss Stage unfolds, the stakes couldn’t be higher.
100T vs. T1. BLG vs. VKS.
Two teams will survive. Two will go home.

This is Worlds 2025 — where legends aren’t remembered for how they fall, but for how they rise again.
