NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is giving Anassa Nangong a supernatural makeover with Abyssal Fiend, a new Extreme Outfit featuring three distinct forms. Revealed alongside the latest Lucky Wheel update, the cosmetic combines the hero’s signature thread imagery with roses and a darker, otherworldly theme. Its announced availability runs from September 2 through October 8, 2026, using Pacific Time.
The release coincides with Anassa’s arrival on the live servers, placing a transformation-focused outfit alongside the introduction of the character herself. Her original presentation emphasises elegant movements, precise needle attacks and carefully woven traps; Abyssal Fiend takes that foundation in a more ominous direction.
There are also separate promotions surrounding this release, including shopping offers and Anassa-themed Twitch rewards. However, those have their own rules and should not be confused with the Lucky Wheel or its featured Extreme Outfit.
Three Forms, One Dark Identity
The defining feature of Abyssal Fiend is its three-form presentation. Rather than promoting a single fixed appearance, the announcement places transformation at the centre of the outfit’s identity, with supernatural power connecting its different manifestations.
The combination of threads and roses gives the design a recognisable connection to Anassa while introducing a more gothic interpretation of her character. As a visual concept, that contrast suits a fighter whose composed exterior conceals lethal intent: delicate imagery becomes the foundation for something considerably more threatening.
Importantly, this is an outfit announcement, not the reveal of three additional playable versions of Anassa. The transformations belong to the cosmetic’s presentation, and the promotional description does not announce additional combat abilities or statistical bonuses attached to ownership.
For players interested in customisation, the three forms are therefore the central feature to examine when considering Abyssal Fiend, alongside the actual acquisition rules displayed in the event.
A New Look for NARAKA’s Needle-Wielding Hero
Anassa Nangong’s official hero introduction scheduled her Test Server appearance for August 27 PT, followed by her live release on September 2 PT. The Lucky Wheel promotion consequently begins on the same announced date as her wider debut.
Her fighting identity revolves around golden threads and needles, using apparently delicate implements to construct dangerous traps. The official description emphasises precision and preparation, presenting her as a character who manipulates the space around an opponent before tightening her hold.
That theme provides useful context for Abyssal Fiend. The new outfit builds its promotional imagery around the same threads that define her introduction, giving the cosmetic a connection to the character beyond its name.
Whether Anassa becomes a preferred competitive pick will depend on her actual performance and how players adapt to her abilities. The outfit reveal, by itself, offers no basis for judging her strength or position in the metagame.
Lucky Wheel Availability and Acquisition
Abyssal Fiend is being promoted through the Lucky Wheel, with players invited to spin for the Extreme Outfit during the September 2–October 8 PT event window. That identifies the acquisition route, but it does not establish a fixed purchase price.
The accompanying English announcement does not provide the complete draw-cost schedule, reward probabilities or guarantee conditions. Those details matter when assessing an event-based cosmetic, particularly because a featured reward’s prominence in promotional material does not explain how much obtaining it may require.
Players should therefore consult the current Lucky Wheel’s rules and reward information before committing currency. Prices or guarantees from previous rotations should not automatically be treated as the conditions for this one.
The published end date also applies to this availability period. It should not be interpreted as confirmation that Abyssal Fiend will never return, since no permanent-exclusivity commitment is included in the announcement.
The 240 Gold Shopping Deposit Is a Separate Offer
Another promotion listed in NARAKA’s official update notes concerns The Harvest Matron Pack through Official Team Shopping. Its published event period runs from August 27 at 04:00 UTC until September 9 at 20:00 UTC.
Under those rules, participation in the presale contributes to Server Cheer Points, which can improve the eventual discount up to the stated maximum. The presale requires a 240 Gold deposit and awards a Serene Treasure Choice Gift as its participation bonus.
That deposit is not the complete purchase price. Presale participants must pay the remaining balance once the item goes on sale, and the official rules state that the deposit will not be refunded if the balance remains unpaid when the event ends.
Players who skip the presale can still purchase at the final discounted price when the item becomes available, but without the presale bonus.
These conditions belong to the named shopping promotion. They should not be presented as the price, discount structure or acquisition method for Abyssal Fiend.
Anassa-Themed Twitch Drops Accompany the Release
Anassa also features in a separate NARAKA Partner Twitch Drops campaign running from September 2 at 9 PM PT until October 8 at 9 PM PT. Its character-specific reward is the Anassa Nangong·Acupuncture exclusive bubble, available after eight cumulative hours of eligible partner-stream viewing.
The reward track additionally includes 500 Tae after two hours, 500 Spectral Silk after four hours, an Outfit Trial Choice Gift after six hours and a Serene Treasure Choice Gift after ten hours. Completing the track requires ten cumulative hours, rather than adding each milestone’s viewing requirement together.
Players must link their Twitch and NARAKA accounts, and each reward in this partner campaign can only be claimed once.
The outfit trial should not be mistaken for access to Abyssal Fiend. Its published selection consists of seven-day trials for specified outfits belonging to Tessa, Yoto Hime, Takeda and Tianhai. The Extreme Outfit is not listed among those choices, keeping the Twitch campaign distinct from the Lucky Wheel promotion.
A Transformation-Focused Addition to Anassa’s Debut
Abyssal Fiend gives Anassa Nangong’s launch an additional customisation showcase, combining three visual forms with the thread-and-rose imagery highlighted in its announcement. Its appeal centres on that supernatural presentation, while the Lucky Wheel determines how players can acquire it.
The key date range remains September 2–October 8 PT. During that period, players can assess the outfit’s in-game presentation and event conditions, while separately working toward the accompanying Twitch rewards without confusing the different promotions or their requirements.
