NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is expanding the Myriad Treasure with two limited Star-Collections built around transformation, water and moonlit fantasy.
Opening Myriad Treasures can now grant the Extreme Heng Sword skin Star - Tearpearl or Ziping Yin’s Legendary Outfit Star - Shadow Scent as an additional reward alongside the Treasure’s normal contents.
Tearpearl gives the Heng Sword two distinct presentations depending on whether its owner is travelling across land or moving beneath the water. On the surface, the weapon appears as an ornate vessel carrying a mermaid figure. Once the player dives underwater, the composition separates and the mermaid begins swimming beside the character as a companion.
Shadow Scent takes a quieter approach.
Ziping Yin is surrounded by pale blossoms, drifting butterflies and a soft lunar glow that reinforces her identity as NARAKA’s compassionate healer. The Outfit replaces the aquatic transformation of Tearpearl with an atmospheric presentation built around movement, light and the natural imagery long associated with the character.
Both cosmetics belong to NARAKA’s Star-Collection system, meaning they offer a greater degree of rarity, customization and ownership identity than conventional weapon skins and Outfits.
They are also subject to strict availability limits.
Star - Tearpearl can only be obtained from Myriad Treasures until July 31 at 04:00 UTC, giving players approximately one day after the Treasure opens to secure it through this distribution. Star - Shadow Scent remains available until August 14 at 04:00 UTC.
Star - Tearpearl turns the Heng Sword into a moving fantasy scene
Star - Tearpearl is classified as an Extreme Heng Sword skin.
Its design does not simply replace the weapon’s blade, guard and handle with a more elaborate model. It changes its visual composition according to the environment surrounding the player.
On land, Tearpearl resembles an ornate mermaid vessel.
The weapon incorporates nautical forms and a sculpted figure into one complete presentation, making it appear closer to a ceremonial artefact than a conventional battlefield sword.
The skin changes once the character enters the water.
Instead of remaining fixed to the Heng Sword, the mermaid detaches from the vessel and swims beside the player. The cosmetic therefore reacts to the transition between terrestrial and underwater movement rather than displaying the same model in every situation.
This dual-state presentation gives Tearpearl a stronger relationship with NARAKA’s environments.
Its most distinctive feature cannot be seen completely from a static preview screen. Players need to move between land and water to experience the transformation and understand how both halves of the design fit together.
The skin effectively contains two related cosmetic scenes.
One presents the mermaid as part of an ornate vessel. The other turns her into a travelling companion.
The underwater transformation gives the cosmetic a practical showcase
Many premium weapon skins are most visible while the player is standing in a lobby, inspecting the weapon or performing an attack.
Tearpearl creates an additional showcase through traversal.
The mermaid companion remains visible while the player swims, giving the cosmetic an opportunity to appear during movement rather than only during combat.
That is particularly valuable in NARAKA because underwater areas are not simply decorative scenery.
Players can enter the water, reposition beneath the surface and participate in aquatic combat. A cosmetic capable of reacting to that system feels more closely integrated with the game than one designed only around conventional grounded animations.
The transformation also makes environmental context part of the reward.
A player using Tearpearl on dry land sees one version. Reaching the coast, entering a river or diving beneath the surface reveals another.
The weapon skin encourages its owner to seek out the environment where its most unusual feature becomes active.
This is a more convincing use of cosmetic transformation than automatically changing colour after a fixed number of eliminations. The effect responds to where the character is and what they are doing.
Tearpearl arrives alongside further water-combat improvements
The July 30 update includes several adjustments to NARAKA’s underwater systems.
The patch improves animations after characters are struck in water, increases the effectiveness and tracking of Tidesurge, accelerates the transition into swimming after attacks and revises underwater dodging.
It also addresses situations involving Grappling Hooks, climbing back onto land and combo stability while Water Skimming.
These changes are separate from Tearpearl and do not require ownership of the cosmetic.
Their arrival in the same update is nevertheless significant.
The Extreme Heng Sword skin is being introduced at a moment when NetEase is refining the systems needed to make its underwater form visible during actual gameplay.
A mermaid companion would have considerably less value if entering the water felt mechanically awkward or occurred only in isolated sections of the map.
The patch’s broader aquatic revisions give players more reasons to move through that environment and therefore more opportunities to see Tearpearl’s transformation.
The Heng Sword is an appropriate weapon for an adaptive skin
The Heng Sword is presented as a swift, straight-bladed weapon associated with the officers and soldiers of Icuria.
Its combat identity is based on precision, controlled movement and the ability to transition between attacks through techniques such as Shadow Step.
Recent updates have also strengthened parts of its charged offence and expanded several of its Souljade interactions.
Tearpearl does not need to alter those mechanics to complement them visually.
The mermaid motif gives the weapon a sense of fluidity, while the transition between vessel and companion reflects a weapon already associated with repositioning and changing attack sequences.
Its elegance also distinguishes it from heavier or more brutal melee categories.
A mermaid travelling beside a Greatsword or Polesword could create an intentionally dramatic contrast. Attached to the Heng Sword, the design feels more naturally connected to speed, balance and controlled movement.
The cosmetic does not provide additional damage, mobility or underwater capability.
Its value lies in transforming how the existing weapon is presented while preserving the combat behaviour every opponent needs to recognise.
Star - Shadow Scent surrounds Ziping Yin with moonlit blossoms
The second limited reward is Ziping Yin’s Legendary Outfit Star - Shadow Scent.
Its visual identity is built around pale flowers gathering beneath moonlight while butterflies drift through the surrounding glow.
Where Tearpearl relies on an obvious environmental transformation, Shadow Scent creates a more continuous atmospheric effect.
The Outfit appears designed to make Ziping Yin the centre of a quiet nocturnal scene.
Blossoms collect around her rather than erupting violently from the ground. Butterflies move through the available space without converting the presentation into an aggressive attack effect.
The result complements the character’s established identity.
Ziping Yin is known as a gifted healer who places the survival of others above her own safety. Her abilities restore allies, protect them from lethal damage and allow teams to recover during dangerous engagements.
Shadow Scent represents that gentler role through nature and light rather than armour, weaponry or destructive elemental effects.
The Outfit expands Ziping Yin’s long-standing floral imagery
Ziping Yin has frequently been associated with plants, blossoms and restorative natural energy.
Her healing abilities already use visual language connected to growth, vitality and medicinal care. Previous cosmetic collections have explored spring imagery, snow, petals, irises and other natural motifs.
Shadow Scent continues that direction but changes its emotional tone.
Bright daylight and spring colours are replaced by moonlight and shadow. The flowers remain beautiful, but the darker environment gives the Outfit a more mysterious and reflective identity.
The butterflies strengthen that effect.
They create continuous movement around Ziping Yin without making the scene appear hostile. Their slow drift suggests a living environment responding to her presence.
This allows the Outfit to feel recognizably connected to the character while still distinguishing it from her existing collections.
It is not a rejection of Ziping Yin’s healer identity.
It is a nocturnal interpretation of the same qualities.
Shadow Scent relies on atmosphere rather than spectacle alone
Extreme and Legendary cosmetics often attempt to justify their rarity through scale.
They may add large structures, explosive effects, transformations or unusually complex materials.
Shadow Scent demonstrates another approach.
Its appeal comes from the relationship between several smaller elements: moonlight, flowers, butterflies and the movement of Ziping Yin’s clothing.
No individual component needs to dominate the screen.
The effect depends on creating one coherent atmosphere around the hero.
That restraint is important for Ziping Yin.
An excessively aggressive cosmetic could conflict with a character whose central fantasy is keeping allies alive. Shadow Scent instead presents power through serenity.
The Outfit can remain elaborate without making the healer look as though she has been redesigned as a destructive warrior.
The two Star-Collections interpret companionship differently
Tearpearl and Shadow Scent share a clear fantasy aesthetic, but they express it through different relationships.
Tearpearl gives the player a visible mermaid companion while underwater.
The effect is direct. Another figure appears beside the character and moves through the environment with them.
Shadow Scent creates companionship through butterflies and blossoms.
These elements do not function as one identifiable character, but they make Ziping Yin appear surrounded by living natural energy.
One cosmetic therefore presents a travelling companion.
The other presents an environment that responds to its wearer.
This contrast prevents the two limited rewards from feeling like variations of one design. They belong to the same Treasure event, but each has a separate visual purpose.
Both cosmetics are additional Treasure rewards
Star - Tearpearl and Star - Shadow Scent do not replace the normal reward generated by a Myriad Treasure.
They are distributed as additional rewards.
Each time a player opens a Myriad Treasure, the game performs separate calculations to determine whether either Star-Collection is granted.
The player still receives the normal Treasure item regardless of whether one of the limited Star-Collections appears.
This distinction is important when evaluating the system.
Opening a Treasure for Tearpearl or Shadow Scent still contributes toward the Myriad Treasure’s ordinary Extreme and Legendary guarantees. The limited Star-Collection chance operates alongside those existing mechanics rather than consuming the main reward slot.
A particularly fortunate opening could therefore provide a normal high-rarity cosmetic and one of the limited Star-Collections at the same time.
That possibility does not make either Star-Collection guaranteed within the Myriad Treasure’s standard 100-opening Extreme threshold.
The normal Extreme guarantee applies to rewards such as Lord Grim and Phase Canopy. Tearpearl and Shadow Scent use their own separate probability system.
Tearpearl and Shadow Scent have independent probabilities
The two Star-Collections are calculated separately.
Opening more Myriad Treasures increases the chance of receiving Tearpearl and also increases the chance of receiving Shadow Scent, but those progressions do not affect one another.
Obtaining Tearpearl resets only Tearpearl’s corresponding chance.
The accumulated probability for Shadow Scent remains separate.
The same rule applies in reverse.
A player can therefore receive both cosmetics through different opening calculations, potentially even while their individual probabilities are at substantially different stages.
This separation is necessary because the two items have different rarities, account limits and availability periods.
Tearpearl is an Extreme weapon skin available for only a very short period. Shadow Scent is a Legendary Outfit remaining in the Treasure for approximately two weeks.
Combining their probability progression into one shared system would make those differences much harder to manage.
The chance can reach 100%, but no fixed opening guarantee is published
The probability of receiving each Star-Collection increases as more Myriad Treasures are opened.
The maximum chance is 100%.
However, the official update does not state that either item is guaranteed after a specific published number of openings.
This should not be confused with the Myriad Treasure’s standard Extreme guarantee, which explicitly promises an Extreme reward within a maximum of 100 Treasures.
The Star-Collection system uses escalating probability rather than a clearly disclosed fixed opening threshold in the general patch notes.
Players should therefore examine the detailed in-game probability interface before deciding how much Gold they are prepared to spend.
A maximum probability of 100% indicates that the chance can eventually become certain. It does not by itself explain how quickly the percentage rises or how many openings are required to reach that final value.
The difference is particularly important for Tearpearl because its acquisition window is extremely short.
Star - Tearpearl is only available for approximately 24 hours
The Myriad Treasure opens on July 30 at 04:00 UTC.
Star - Tearpearl stops being obtainable from it on July 31 at 04:00 UTC.
That gives the Extreme Heng Sword skin an availability period of approximately 24 hours, provided its limited stock is not exhausted earlier.
This is considerably shorter than the complete Star-Collection event.
Players who wait until the weekend or assume every bonus reward remains available until August 14 will miss the opportunity to obtain Tearpearl through this Treasure distribution.
The narrow window creates substantial urgency.
It also means players need to make a spending decision before there is much time for the wider community to document probabilities, compare different Constellation results or evaluate how the underwater companion behaves across every relevant environment.
Tearpearl is therefore positioned primarily as a high-end collector’s item rather than a cosmetic players can pursue gradually throughout the season.
Shadow Scent remains available until August 14
Star - Shadow Scent can be obtained until August 14 at 04:00 UTC.
This gives players a much longer period to pursue Ziping Yin’s Outfit.
The extended availability allows additional time to accumulate Gold, observe community Restyles and decide whether the Outfit offers enough value compared with other Myriad Treasure rewards.
It also reflects the difference in rarity.
Shadow Scent is a Legendary Star-Collection, while Tearpearl is Extreme.
The longer period does not remove scarcity.
The Outfit remains subject to limited global supply and can disappear before the scheduled deadline if the allocated quantity is exhausted.
Players should therefore treat August 14 as the latest possible acquisition time, not a guarantee that stock will remain available until that moment.
Global stock can end availability before the timer
Both Star-Collections are available while stocks last.
NetEase has not presented them as an unlimited probability reward active for every player throughout the complete event period.
A fixed number is allocated to the system.
Once that supply has been distributed, no additional copies will be generated through the Myriad Treasure, even if the published deadline has not yet arrived.
This creates two separate limits.
The first is time. Tearpearl expires on July 31, while Shadow Scent expires on August 14.
The second is stock. Either cosmetic can become unavailable earlier if every allocated copy has already been claimed.
The interface should therefore be checked before opening Treasures specifically for one of these rewards.
Continuing to spend after the relevant supply has been exhausted would not create another copy.
Each account can obtain multiple copies
One account can receive up to ten copies of Star - Tearpearl.
Star - Shadow Scent has a lower limit of two copies per account.
Duplicates are meaningful within the Star-Collection system.
They are not automatically converted into Spectral Silk in the same way as many repeated conventional cosmetics. Each copy can carry its own identifier, appearance configuration and collection value.
The ability to obtain ten Tearpearls gives dedicated collectors room to pursue several visual variants or retain copies for trading where supported.
The two-copy limit for Shadow Scent is considerably more restrictive.
A player can keep more than one version of Ziping Yin’s Outfit, but the system does not allow the same level of repeated acquisition available for the weapon skin.
The different caps also influence global supply.
One highly invested account can claim a larger portion of the available Tearpearl allocation than it can of Shadow Scent.
Star-Collections are individually identifiable cosmetics
Star-Collections are designed to feel like individual items rather than identical unlocks shared across every account.
Each receives an exclusive six-digit identifier based on when it was claimed.
Owners can also assign a custom name, subject to the system’s naming rules and uniqueness requirements.
The identifier creates a permanent record of when the cosmetic entered circulation.
An early number can become particularly desirable for collectors, independently of the item’s visual configuration.
This gives Tearpearl’s short release window another layer of competition.
Players are not only attempting to obtain the skin before the supply or timer ends. Some may also be pursuing an early identifier.
The cosmetic can additionally record exclusive battle statistics while equipped, creating a history associated with that particular copy.
A Star-Collection used extensively in matches can therefore develop a different profile from one kept primarily as an untouched collectible.
Constellations allow visual details to be altered
Most Star-Collections contain adjustable visual attributes known as Constellations.
Restyling those Constellations can change parts of the cosmetic’s appearance.
The exact available parameters differ between individual items. They may affect colours, materials, patterns, visual intensity or other presentation details.
This means two Tearpearl skins may not look identical even before their unique numbers and custom names are considered.
One owner may create a brighter maritime design. Another may pursue darker tones or a configuration emphasizing different parts of the mermaid vessel.
Shadow Scent can similarly support different interpretations of its flowers, moonlight or surrounding effects, depending on the specific Constellations provided.
The preview trailer demonstrates the central identity of each item.
It does not necessarily represent every visual combination that can be created through Restyling.
New Star-Collections include a Restyle guarantee
NARAKA’s newer Star-Collections include a guarantee tied to their final Constellation.
The announced standard is 2,000 Restyles for an Extreme Star-Collection and 1,000 for a Legendary Star-Collection.
This system creates an eventual ceiling for players seeking a particular high-value final attribute rather than depending on unlimited random Restyles.
For Tearpearl, the Extreme threshold is the higher of the two.
Shadow Scent uses the lower Legendary threshold.
These numbers remain extremely large for ordinary cosmetic experimentation.
The guarantee is most relevant to dedicated collectors pursuing an ideal or exceptionally rare configuration rather than players satisfied with an attractive result after a small number of changes.
Star-Collections also allow the final Constellation’s Ultimate Aura Effect to be toggled through the Collection interface.
This gives owners some control over whether the most elaborate presentation remains active at all times.
Restyling creates a second cost after acquisition
Obtaining Tearpearl or Shadow Scent is only the first stage of collection for players seeking a particular appearance.
The initial drop provides one configuration.
Anyone satisfied with that version can equip it immediately without attempting further changes.
Players pursuing specific colours or Constellation combinations need to engage with Restyling.
This introduces another resource and probability consideration after the Treasure-opening process has ended.
A rare cosmetic can therefore become considerably more expensive to perfect than to obtain.
That distinction should be considered before chasing multiple copies.
Ten Tearpearls create ten separate cosmetic assets, but each one may require additional investment if the owner wants a carefully controlled visual identity.
For many players, retaining the first attractive configuration will be more rational than attempting to reach an exceptionally rare final combination.
Star-Collections can support trading
The wider Star-Collection system was created with trading support.
Eligible cosmetics can be exchanged through systems such as the Treasure Pavilion and supported external markets, subject to platform, region and account restrictions.
This gives duplicate acquisition a purpose beyond personal use.
A Tearpearl with a desirable identifier or unusual Constellation arrangement may attract greater interest than an ordinary copy.
The same applies to Shadow Scent, although its two-copy account limit makes repeated acquisition less common.
Trading also increases the importance of the Security Lock.
Owners can lock a Star-Collection to prevent Restyling, renaming or other changes while the item is protected. A locked cosmetic can still be equipped, but its defining properties cannot be accidentally modified.
Players should verify the specific trading availability applying to their platform before treating either reward as a future market asset.
Support and restrictions have varied between platforms and regions throughout the development of the Star-Collection system.
Limited supply makes these cosmetics fundamentally different from normal Treasure rewards
Lord Grim and Phase Canopy are the principal Extreme rewards inside the Myriad Treasure.
They use a standard guarantee system and remain part of the Treasure’s defined reward pool.
Tearpearl and Shadow Scent operate differently.
They appear as bonus rewards, use independent escalating probabilities, have individual account caps and are restricted by both time and global stock.
This structure makes them considerably less predictable.
A player opening Myriad Treasures for Lord Grim knows that an Extreme reward must appear within 100 openings and that Extreme items will not repeat until every available Extreme has been obtained.
A player pursuing Tearpearl does not receive that same published fixed threshold.
The Star-Collection chance rises independently, but the exact number of openings required to reach certainty is not stated in the general notes.
Anyone opening the Treasure primarily for the bonus cosmetics should not assume the normal pity system protects that objective.
The first ten Myriad Treasures receive a discount
A Myriad Treasure normally costs 360 Gold.
The first ten purchased by a player receive a 50% discount.
The discount cannot be combined with other Treasure vouchers, and the normal price returns after those ten purchases have been completed.
This lowers the initial cost of attempting to obtain Tearpearl or Shadow Scent.
It does not create a special Star-Collection guarantee.
The discounted openings still use the same independent probability system as subsequent Myriad Treasures.
Players should also remember that the Treasure contains its own large collection of normal rewards.
Someone who values Lord Grim, Phase Canopy and the available Legendary cosmetics may find greater overall value in opening Treasures even without receiving a Star-Collection.
A player interested exclusively in Tearpearl faces a much more volatile proposition.
Tearpearl is the more technically ambitious cosmetic
Of the two Star-Collections, Tearpearl contains the clearest technical transformation.
Its transition between a land-based vessel and a swimming mermaid companion requires the cosmetic to respond to movement state and environment.
The model must remain visually coherent while attached to the Heng Sword, separate correctly when the player enters the water and move beside the character without interfering with combat readability.
It also needs to reconnect when the player returns to land.
That sequence is more complex than changing one material or adding a persistent particle effect.
The cosmetic effectively changes category.
On land, it is an ornate weapon model containing a figure. Underwater, part of that model becomes an independent animated presence.
This technical ambition helps explain its Extreme classification.
Shadow Scent may have broader visibility during ordinary matches
Tearpearl has the more dramatic transformation, but Shadow Scent may be visible more consistently.
The mermaid companion depends on the player entering water.
On maps, routes or modes containing limited aquatic traversal, much of Tearpearl’s defining feature may remain unseen.
Shadow Scent is attached directly to Ziping Yin and can present its flowers, butterflies and lunar atmosphere whenever the Outfit’s relevant effects are displayed.
Players who use Ziping Yin frequently may therefore encounter the cosmetic’s distinctive elements more often during normal play.
The difference reflects two types of premium design.
Tearpearl rewards environmental discovery and transformation.
Shadow Scent rewards continuous character presentation.
Neither approach is automatically more valuable. The better option depends on whether the player primarily collects weapon skins, regularly uses Ziping Yin or wants a cosmetic with a particularly unusual underwater feature.
Ziping Yin remains one of NARAKA’s clearest support heroes
Shadow Scent also benefits from being attached to a hero with a strong and recognizable gameplay identity.
Ziping Yin is designed around healing, protection and team survival.
Her abilities can restore Health and Armor, assist allies and prevent fatal situations when properly timed.
This makes her especially valuable in team modes where surviving one concentrated attack can determine whether the entire squad recovers or is eliminated.
The Outfit’s visual language supports that role.
Butterflies and flowers suggest restoration rather than aggression. Moonlight creates a sense of calm around a character whose purpose is to stabilize an otherwise chaotic fight.
The cosmetic does not need to alter her abilities mechanically.
Its value comes from making the healer’s presence more visible and giving her defensive role a more elaborate presentation.
The two rewards target different collectors
Tearpearl will appeal most strongly to Heng Sword specialists, weapon collectors and players interested in NARAKA’s rarest transformative cosmetics.
Its Extreme rarity, ten-copy account limit, short acquisition window and environmental transformation all support that collector-focused identity.
Shadow Scent targets Ziping Yin players and collectors who prefer complete hero presentations.
Its Legendary rarity makes it theoretically less prestigious than Tearpearl, but character Outfits often remain visible for more of a match than individual weapon skins.
A player may also switch away from the Heng Sword after finding better equipment. Ziping Yin’s Outfit remains active regardless of the weapons she carries.
The choice is therefore not only aesthetic.
It depends on how reliably each cosmetic will appear during the owner’s normal gameplay.
Scarcity is part of the design, not a secondary detail
The preview focuses on mermaids, butterflies and moonlit visual effects.
The acquisition rules are equally important.
Tearpearl’s approximate 24-hour window places immediate pressure on anyone hoping to obtain it through the Myriad Treasure.
Shadow Scent offers more time, but limited stock still prevents players from assuming it will remain available until August 14.
Escalating probabilities, repeated acquisition and account caps add further complexity.
These are not conventional Store items with a fixed Gold price.
Their rarity is created through a combination of random distribution, individual customization, global supply and time-limited availability.
That structure can make a successful acquisition feel genuinely exceptional.
It can also produce substantial spending uncertainty.
Players should decide on a strict Gold limit before opening Treasures rather than allowing the increasing probability to determine how long they continue.
Myriad Treasure’s bonus rewards combine transformation and tranquillity
Star - Tearpearl and Star - Shadow Scent give the Myriad Treasure two cosmetics that are visually connected without duplicating one another.
Tearpearl is built around transformation.
Its mermaid begins as part of an ornate Heng Sword vessel before separating and swimming beside the player beneath the waves.
Shadow Scent is built around atmosphere.
Moonlit blossoms and drifting butterflies gather around Ziping Yin, reinforcing the healer’s gentle identity through a darker and more reflective natural theme.
Both receive the individual identifiers, adjustable Constellations and collection features associated with NARAKA’s Star-Collection system.
Both are also additional rewards rather than part of the standard Treasure guarantee.
Star - Shadow Scent remains obtainable until August 14 at 04:00 UTC, while Star - Tearpearl disappears from the Myriad Treasure on July 31 at 04:00 UTC or earlier if its available supply is exhausted.
The mermaid may wait beneath the water.
The Treasure will not wait nearly as long.
