Ancient warriors are heading somewhere considerably more modern when NARAKA: BLADEPOINT’s next progression track arrives. The Devourer Advanced Hidden Treasure launches on October 8 PT with Urban Hunt outfits for Anassa Nangong, Feria Shen and Takeda Nobutada, replacing ceremonial robes, mechanical battle gear and samurai-inspired armor with a shared streetwear aesthetic built around saturated colors, futuristic materials and the atmosphere of a nocturnal city hunt. Rather than dressing three characters identically, 24 Entertainment is using the same contemporary concept to reinterpret heroes whose normal visual identities could hardly be more different.

The new Devourer Treasure Scroll Preview is primarily a cosmetic reveal, so 24 Entertainment has not yet published the complete October 8 reward table, level placements or pricing for the incoming Advanced Hidden Treasure as of October 5. What the trailer does confirm is that Urban Hunt will form one of its central outfit collections, with Anassa, Feria and Takeda receiving coordinated looks when the new Treasure Scroll becomes available. The timing also makes Devourer a clear transition point for NARAKA’s progression ecosystem, as numerous current events and Store offers are scheduled to conclude on October 8.

Urban Hunt takes NARAKA into a completely different visual world

NARAKA has always been comfortable moving far beyond the historical and mythological influences of its base character designs. Its cosmetic catalogue has included modern sportswear, futuristic technology, crossover costumes, elaborate fantasy armor and contemporary fashion, but Urban Hunt pushes the contrast particularly hard by presenting all three heroes as nighttime hunters dressed for a stylized futuristic city.

Bright accent colors cut through darker fabrics, technical panels replace more traditional ornamentation and the silhouettes lean toward modern street fashion rather than the layered robes and armor normally associated with Morus Isle. The emphasis on night-time urban imagery also gives the collection a coherent visual language without requiring every hero to wear the same type of clothing. Anassa can remain elegant and controlled, Feria can lean into her technological identity and Takeda can retain a heavier, more aggressive presence while all three still look like members of the same collection.

That approach fits NARAKA’s increasingly extensive Collection system. Cosmetics are no longer isolated vanity items buried inside a character menu; recent updates have continued expanding Collections, dye variants, Photo Booth functionality and Collection Points, giving players more ways to treat appearance as a long-term progression layer alongside combat. September’s update even integrated Avatars into Collection Points and added new ways to display cosmetic setups outside matches.

Anassa Nangong receives one of her fastest visual reinventions yet

Anassa Nangong is the most recent member of the trio, having only joined NARAKA on September 3. Her original presentation could hardly be further from Urban Hunt. Introduced as the Vice Hierophant known as the Harvest Matron, she is associated with needles, thread and political manipulation, with her story describing a woman methodically severing Icuria’s existing order while pursuing a royal destiny of her own.

Her launch cosmetics followed that dark ceremonial identity closely. September introduced the Extreme Abyssal Fiend Outfit through the Lucky Wheel, while her Gloomlight pack supplied accessories that alter the appearance of Soul-Severing Needle and Traceless Silk. Another launch pack, The Harvest Matron, kept her closer to ornate fantasy clothing and elaborate textile imagery.

Urban Hunt therefore becomes an unusually rapid change of direction. Barely a month after her playable debut, Anassa is already being pulled out of the visual world used to establish her character and placed inside a contemporary collection. That is particularly effective for a hero whose identity is already built around precision and control. The trailer’s sharper urban lines and bold accents can preserve that sense of deliberate elegance without simply producing another variation of her original ceremonial costume.

It also demonstrates how quickly 24 Entertainment intends to integrate newer heroes into the wider cosmetic rotation. Anassa is not spending several seasons waiting for themed collections to catch up with the established roster; she is moving almost immediately from launch-specific fashion into one of the next Battle Pass-style reward sets.

Feria Shen looks perfectly at home in a futuristic city

If Urban Hunt represents a major departure for Anassa, Feria Shen is almost naturally suited to it. She entered NARAKA in December 2022 as “The Powderkeg,” an engineer whose personality, weapons and abilities revolve around machinery and her enormous Bronze Mech. 24 Entertainment’s later Showdown implementation went even further, allowing Feria to pilot that machine directly as part of her PvE combat kit.

Her cosmetic history has repeatedly embraced that flexibility. Feria has worn everything from traditional-inspired clothing to aggressively modern and playful designs, and September 2026 added Competitive Spirit Best Backup, a Legendary Outfit accompanied by Rhythm Flow hair and a Sunhat accessory. That pack already pushed her toward a sportier contemporary direction immediately before Urban Hunt takes the concept further.

The new collection’s technological details consequently feel less like a contradiction of Feria’s character and more like an extension of it. She already belongs to the side of NARAKA’s world where mechanical engineering and advanced weaponry can coexist with martial-arts combat. Dressing her like a hunter from a neon metropolis simply shifts the technology from giant machinery toward fashion.

It should also make her one of the visually easiest characters to integrate with futuristic weapon skins and accessories players may already own. NARAKA’s cosmetic system rarely requires a hero outfit and weapon appearance to originate from the same collection, so a technologically styled Feria can be paired naturally with a much broader part of the existing arsenal.

Takeda Nobutada gets the collection’s biggest cultural collision

Takeda Nobutada provides the sharpest contrast of the three. He originally joined NARAKA in May 2022 as the Demon Vessel, framed through honor, loyalty and the willingness to cut open a new path when confronted by a dead end. His design and story have consistently leaned heavily into Japanese warrior imagery, swords and the demonic force contained within him.

Urban Hunt takes that recognizable warrior and relocates him into a visual language built around modern nightlife. The interesting part is that NARAKA has already demonstrated Takeda can survive dramatic stylistic changes without losing his identity. Earlier outfits include the Legendary Breaking Waves set, while February 2026 added the much more contemporary Competitive Spirit Rebound Master, showing that 24 Entertainment is perfectly willing to detach him from strictly traditional presentation when a collection demands it.

Urban Hunt can therefore preserve Takeda’s larger physical silhouette and intimidating demeanor while replacing historical references with technical clothing, color blocking and futuristic detailing. Among the three characters, he is likely to provide the collection’s strongest before-and-after comparison precisely because so much of his original identity is communicated through a visual tradition the new outfit deliberately leaves behind.

That contrast is important for themed Battle Pass cosmetics. If every outfit simply looked like a slightly altered default costume, the shared Urban Hunt concept would have little impact. Takeda demonstrates how far the theme can stretch while keeping the underlying character recognizable.

Devourer follows a long-established Advanced Hidden Treasure structure

Although the complete Devourer reward table has not yet been published, Advanced Hidden Treasure is NARAKA’s established premium Battle Pass track, not a new loot-box format. The currently active Myriad Battle Pass launched on July 2 with free rewards and additional premium items available through Advanced Hidden Treasure. For Myriad, a Treasure Scroll costs 1,200 Gold, while the enhanced Glory Scroll costs 2,840 Gold, immediately advances the player to Level 29, adds several exclusive items and provides a 30% weekly mission XP bonus.

Those prices have been extremely consistent across previous passes. Mirage used the same 1,200/2,840 Gold structure in December 2024, Skybreak repeated it at the end of 2025 and older passes such as Aeon did the same.

That historical consistency makes it reasonable to expect Devourer to use a familiar progression structure, but 24 Entertainment has not yet confirmed its exact October pricing or Glory Scroll bonuses, so those should not be presented as final until the October 8 patch notes are available. The key confirmed information from the preview is narrower: Urban Hunt outfits for Anassa Nangong, Feria Shen and Takeda Nobutada belong to the Devourer Advanced Hidden Treasure.

That distinction matters because NARAKA often mixes Battle Pass content with simultaneous Lucky Wheels, Store packs and limited-time events. The trailer is specifically identifying these outfits with progression through Advanced Hidden Treasure rather than advertising another direct-sale bundle.

October 8 is already shaping up as a major rotation point

The date is significant beyond the new pass. A large portion of NARAKA’s current September content is scheduled to expire on October 8, indicating that the Devourer rollout will coincide with a wider transition in the live game. The Dueling! 0924 event, Dueling Masters, Race to Gold, Treasure Chase and Eternal Glory all close around October 8, while the current Lucky Wheel featuring Anassa’s Abyssal Fiend also ends that day.

Several Anassa-specific cosmetics introduced for her September debut are similarly scheduled to rotate out. Gloomlight’s limited availability ends on October 8, as do her Eternal Night background and base, while the Asian Games collectible event also concludes during the same window.

That concentration of expiration dates strongly establishes October 8 as more than a routine cosmetic drop. Even before the full update notes arrive, the existing schedule shows that 24 Entertainment has been clearing multiple September systems simultaneously, making room for whatever broader event and progression package accompanies Devourer.

NARAKA continues using cosmetics to ignore its own historical boundaries

Urban Hunt also reflects one of the reasons NARAKA’s cosmetic catalogue has become unusually broad for a melee-focused battle royale. The game’s combat, architecture and mythology draw heavily from Asian historical and fantasy traditions, but its wardrobe has never been required to obey the same boundaries. Feria Shen can move from traditional fantasy clothing to sportswear, Takeda can exchange warrior robes for modern fashion and a newcomer like Anassa can receive an urban redesign barely weeks after her introduction.

That freedom is increasingly supported by systems beyond the outfits themselves. Dye Lucky Jars were added in September to unlock Iridescent Paint variants for supported Collections, while Photo Booth upgrades and Collection Points give rare cosmetics additional value outside their original release window. NARAKA is effectively encouraging players to think of heroes as customizable models whose visual identity can change completely even while their abilities and lore remain untouched.

Urban Hunt takes advantage of that separation particularly well. Nothing about Anassa’s Soul-Severing Needle, Feria’s mech or Takeda’s demonic combat needs to become futuristic for the outfits to work. The collection changes how the hunters look when night falls, not who they are underneath it.

Three generations of NARAKA meet on the same street

There is also a neat chronological quality to the character selection. Takeda entered the roster in May 2022, Feria followed in December 2022, and Anassa arrived almost four years later in September 2026. Urban Hunt therefore brings together two long-established heroes and one of the newest additions under exactly the same visual concept.

That helps the collection avoid feeling like a promotional vehicle for Anassa alone. She naturally receives considerable attention after her recent release, but Devourer is immediately connecting her with characters players have had years to customize. For veteran accounts, Feria and Takeda provide familiar anchors; for newer players drawn in by Anassa, all three offer a coordinated set to pursue through the same Advanced Hidden Treasure.

The differences between them should also make the set more interesting when viewed together. Feria’s mechanical background naturally fits futuristic details, Takeda creates deliberate contrast with them and Anassa sits somewhere between both extremes, carrying an elegant visual identity that can translate relatively cleanly from elaborate fantasy fashion into stylized contemporary clothing.

The full Devourer reveal still has important details missing

For now, the Treasure Scroll Preview should be treated as an early look rather than the complete Devourer announcement. 24 Entertainment has confirmed the Urban Hunt theme, its three featured heroes and the October 8 PT availability date, but the official NARAKA news feed has not yet published the corresponding October update notes. As of October 5, the latest full game update remains September 16, followed by a September 23 official announcement.

That means exact progression levels for the three Outfits, the complete free and premium reward lists, additional weapon skins, accessories, currencies and any change to Treasure Scroll or Glory Scroll pricing remain unconfirmed. Previous passes strongly suggest Devourer will contain considerably more than the three outfits highlighted in this trailer, but naming unrevealed rewards before the October patch would require speculation.

What the preview already establishes is the aesthetic direction. Devourer is opening with a city-after-dark identity rather than another extension of the mythological imagery that dominates much of NARAKA’s world, and Urban Hunt is using three deliberately different heroes to sell it.

Anassa brings the precision of NARAKA’s newest schemer. Feria brings machinery and natural futuristic energy. Takeda brings a warrior from another era into the middle of the neon.

On October 8, the hunt leaves Morus Isle’s ancient battlefields behind for something that looks much closer to midnight in a city that never learned to sleep.
