Vendetta’s ambition knows no bounds, and her next move aims much higher. In "The Upper Hand," the new short story from the Overwatch 2 universe, the rising leader understands that brute force alone is not enough: she needs allies… and the technology to turn her vision into reality.

The story comes to life in a special reading starring Chiara Preziosi, the voice of Vendetta, joined by special guest Taj Atwal. Following her recent encounter with Maximilien, Vendetta summons a powerful Vishkar Corporation executive to the Colosseo, opening the door to a negotiation that could shift the established balance of power. What’s being discussed isn't just an alliance, but an exchange capable of shaking the very foundations of Talon and sending shockwaves far beyond.

This new chapter delves into the more strategic and political side of the conflict, where power is negotiated in boardrooms as much as on the battlefield. Through stories like this, Overwatch 2 continues to expand its narrative with corporate intrigue, influence games, and decisions that can change the course of the world. Sometimes, the upper hand isn't gained by firing first, but by choosing the right person to strike a deal with.
