Nearly three months after lifting the trophy in Seoul, the players who delivered Brazil its first PUBG Nations Cup championship are back together.

PUBG Esports has reunited the PNC 2026 winners for “PNC 2026 Champions – The Reunion,” a retrospective conversation in which the Brazilian squad revisits what happened away from the broadcast, the pressure surrounding the competition and the emotions they experienced before, during and after the tournament.

It is a fitting epilogue to one of the defining international stories of the 2026 PUBG season. Brazil did not simply win another global event: the team became the first representative from the Americas to capture a PUBG Nations Cup title, finishing the Grand Finals with 124 points after surviving a late challenge from South Korea. KRAFTON later confirmed captain sparkingg as the tournament MVP.

The reunion consequently provides an opportunity to revisit a championship that looked convincing on the leaderboard but was considerably less comfortable from inside the server.

Brazil Brought Together Four Players From Different Competitive Paths

Brazil's championship lineup consisted of sparkingg, Tny7, bielmtcalmo and zkrakeN, with Rds serving as coach. PUBG Esports' official player-POV documentation from the tournament confirms the four-player roster that competed in Seoul.

That combination was particularly interesting because a Nations Cup team is not the same thing as a conventional professional roster.

Players normally spend the year operating inside their respective organizations, developing established communication systems, rotations and decision-making structures. PNC temporarily removes those boundaries and asks national representatives to build a functioning squad within a much shorter preparation window.

That is part of what gives a reunion format additional value. Match broadcasts show rotations, engagements, eliminations and results, but they cannot fully communicate how quickly players adapted to one another, how responsibilities were divided or how the team handled the psychological swings that occur across a multi-day international tournament.

For Brazil, those internal details now carry considerably more weight because the temporary lineup ultimately produced a championship.

Brazil Took Control Almost Immediately

PNC 2026 used a two-stage structure.

Twenty-four national teams travelled to Seoul, with eight teams advancing directly to the Grand Finals based on their PNC 2025 results. The remaining 16 competed across the two-day Survival Stage on June 23 and 24, with eight more earning places in the finals.

Brazil was among the teams already qualified directly for the decisive stage.

The Grand Finals then took place from June 26 to June 28 at Jangchung Arena, with 16 teams contesting 15 matches across Erangel, Miramar, Taego and Rondo. The champion was determined through cumulative scoring under the PUBG Esports S.U.P.E.R. Point System rather than through a separate final match or match-point format.

Brazil established its position almost immediately.

According to PUBG Esports' official championship recap, the team moved into first place after Match 2 of the Grand Finals and never surrendered the overall lead from that point onward.

That second match took place on Miramar, and the official match archive records Brazil at the top of the match results. The early breakthrough gave the squad a platform that would become increasingly important as the tournament progressed.

Leading for almost an entire Grand Finals presents a different type of pressure from chasing. Every subsequent match becomes partly defensive: the team needs to continue accumulating points while knowing that every rival can calculate exactly how much ground it needs to recover.

Brazil managed that pressure for the remainder of the event.

The Final Day Became a Fight Against Korea

The championship was still far from secure when the final five matches began.

South Korea mounted the most serious challenge on Day 3, progressively reducing Brazil's advantage and forcing the leaders to keep scoring until the closing stages. PUBG Esports described the Korean comeback as the major source of pressure during the final day, with Brazil repeatedly finding enough points to prevent the lead from changing hands.

The final margin demonstrates how close the contest became.

Brazil finished with 124 points, while Korea ended on 119, leaving only five points between the champion and runner-up after 15 matches. Available tournament statistics attribute 85 of Brazil's points to kills and 39 to placement, illustrating just how aggressively the eventual champions accumulated their total.

That balance is important when looking back at the run.

Brazil did not win primarily by surviving circles and collecting placement points. Its 85 kill points represented the majority of its final score, meaning the team consistently had to convert fights rather than simply avoid them.

The pressure of maintaining that style while Korea continued closing the gap is precisely the kind of experience a post-tournament conversation can reveal more effectively than statistics.

Sparkingg Finished the Tournament as MVP

The team trophy was accompanied by an individual distinction for sparkingg, who was named the PNC 2026 tournament MVP.

As Brazil's captain, his championship also came with responsibilities extending beyond mechanical performance.

National-team competitions compress preparation into a limited period, making leadership and communication particularly important. A squad assembled from multiple competitive environments needs to settle questions that established rosters normally solve over months of practice: who controls macro decisions, how aggressively the team approaches contested positions, when calls can be overridden and how information is prioritized during chaotic late-game situations.

The finished result suggests Brazil found a workable answer quickly.

But the Reunion concept shifts attention away from the clean version of that story represented by the final standings. The more interesting question is what those processes actually felt like while the competition was still happening and no one knew whether the approach would end with a trophy.

Tny7’s Championship Added Another Personal Story

The Brazilian lineup also included one of the more unusual player journeys represented at PNC 2026.

Tny7 had transitioned from competitive PUBG on console toward PC competition before eventually reaching the international stage. Following the Nations Cup victory, he described the championship publicly as the realization of a dream and reflected on the amount of work required to reach that point.

PUBG Esports also published a winner's interview with him immediately after the tournament, reinforcing how significant the moment was for a player whose ascent through the competitive scene had been relatively rapid.

Stories like that make the reunion more than a conventional victory recap.

The tournament itself reduces every player to a national abbreviation, a kill feed and a position on the leaderboard. Bringing the roster back together later provides room for those individual paths to become part of the championship narrative.

For some players, PNC 2026 represented another appearance at an elite international event. For others, winning in Seoul was the culmination of a much less predictable route to professional PUBG.

PNC 2026 Was the Largest Nations Cup Yet

Brazil's victory also arrived during an expanded edition of the tournament.

PNC 2026 featured 24 national teams, making it the most diverse field in the event's history at the time. Kazakhstan and Ukraine made their Nations Cup debuts, while Finland returned after last appearing in 2022.

The competition began at PUBG Seongsu for the Survival Stage before moving to Seoul's Jangchung Arena for the Grand Finals. That venue carried additional historical significance because PNC was returning there for the first time since the inaugural Nations Cup in 2019.

The base prize pool was $500,000, with additional crowdfunding contributing to the eventual payout.

KRAFTON later reported substantial audience engagement surrounding the tournament. According to the company, official channels reached approximately 2.6 million daily unique viewers, while peak concurrent viewership climbed to around 810,000 on the final day. The tournament website recorded roughly 1.66 million visits, and the first PUBG Fantasy competition attracted around 2.6 million participants.

Those figures place Brazil's championship within one of the most visible Nations Cup editions PUBG Esports has produced.

Brazil Added a New Country to the PNC Winners’ List

Before 2026, the Nations Cup trophy had remained concentrated among a relatively small collection of countries.

Russia won the inaugural competition in 2019. The United Kingdom claimed the title in 2022, South Korea won consecutive championships in 2023 and 2024, and Vietnam arrived in Seoul as the reigning PNC 2025 champion. PUBG Esports noted before the tournament that only four nations had previously won PNC.

Brazil became the fifth.

More significantly for the regional history of the competition, KRAFTON identified the achievement as the first PNC championship won by a team from the Americas.

That distinction turns the reunion into something broader than a nostalgic piece of post-tournament content.

For Brazilian PUBG, it documents the group that finally converted years of international representation into a Nations Cup trophy. For the four players and their coach, it gives them an opportunity to reconstruct the tournament now that the uncertainty has disappeared and the pressure has been replaced by hindsight.

The Trophy Is Won, but the Stories Behind It Remain

Esports championships are normally remembered through a collection of visible moments: the decisive engagement, the standings appearing on screen, players leaving their desks and embracing, the trophy lift and the photographs that follow.

“PNC 2026 Champions – The Reunion” focuses on everything surrounding those moments.

Brazil entered the Grand Finals as one of 16 teams chasing the same title, took control after only two matches, spent the remainder of the weekend defending that position and survived a final Korean comeback to finish five points clear.

Months later, sparkingg, Tny7, bielmtcalmo, zkrakeN and the people around them can finally discuss that run without having to prepare for the next circle, the next rotation or the next match.

The result is already part of PUBG Esports history. The reunion is about documenting what that history looked and felt like from the other side of the monitors.
