PUBG Nations Cup 2026 has come to an end, with Team Brazil crowned champions after five days of international competition in Seoul. The tournament brought together 24 national all-star rosters for a Survival Stage and a three-day Grand Finals, delivering a full week of high-pressure PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS action.

Brazil entered the Grand Finals as one of the pre-qualified teams and converted that position into a title-winning performance. The team finished first on the final standings with 61 points, ahead of Argentina in second on 44 points. Vietnam and Ukraine completed the next positions with 36 points each, while Denmark rounded out the top five on 35.

The result marks a major moment for Brazil’s PUBG esports scene, with the roster overcoming a field that included defending champion Vietnam, host nation Korea, China, Thailand, the United States and several teams that fought their way through the Survival Stage.

A five-day tournament built around national pride

PNC 2026 used the PUBG Nations Cup’s established national-team format, with players selected to represent their countries rather than their usual club organisations.

The competition began with the Survival Stage on June 23 and June 24, where 16 teams competed for the remaining eight places in the Grand Finals. The top eight teams from PNC 2025 — including Brazil, Vietnam, China, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand and the United States — advanced directly to the final stage.

The Grand Finals then ran from June 26 to June 28 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul, with 16 teams playing 15 matches across three days. The champion was determined through the PUBG Esports S.U.P.E.R. Point System, rewarding both placement and eliminations across the full series.

That format is one of the reasons PNC remains distinct within the PUBG esports calendar. There is no single elimination bracket or one-match final. Consistency matters across multiple maps, with every rotation, late-game decision and fight contributing to the final national standings.

Brazil finishes ahead of Argentina as Vietnam’s title defence falls short

Brazil’s 61-point finish gave the team a clear margin over Argentina, which ended the Grand Finals on 44 points.

Vietnam arrived at PNC 2026 as defending champion and remained in contention throughout the event, but ultimately finished third with 36 points. Ukraine matched Vietnam’s total, while Denmark, Thailand and Korea followed closely behind in a tightly packed upper half of the leaderboard.

The final standings underline how competitive the Grand Finals were behind Brazil’s lead. Argentina’s second-place finish was especially notable after beginning the tournament in the Survival Stage, where teams needed to earn their place in the final 16 before they could even begin their championship push.

Brazil, by contrast, started directly in the Grand Finals due to its PNC 2025 performance. That advantage did not guarantee success, but it gave the team a more direct route to the title — and Brazil made full use of it.

The Survival Stage added more pressure before the main event

The expanded 24-team format meant that not every nation entered the Grand Finals on equal footing.

Teams outside the top eight from the previous PNC had to play through the Survival Stage, where just eight of the 16 participants could advance. Argentina, Denmark, Ukraine and the United Kingdom were among the teams that successfully earned a Grand Finals place through that route.

That structure added another layer of stakes to the tournament. Nations such as Argentina had to survive two extra days of competition before facing the same 15-match Grand Finals schedule as the directly qualified teams.

For Argentina, the run ended with a podium finish and second place overall. For Brazil, the title confirms that its direct qualification status was justified — but it also highlights how quickly the competitive field can change once the format reaches its final stage.

PNC 2026 closes with Brazil at the top

The tournament’s conclusion brings another chapter of PUBG Nations Cup competition to a close, with Brazil emerging as the country to beat in 2026.

The event delivered the format’s usual mix of national pride, unpredictable battle royale swings and standout individual plays. From the Survival Stage through to the final Grand Finals matches, every team had to manage the volatility that defines competitive PUBG: rotations, zone shifts, third-party pressure and the constant risk of a single bad engagement ending a match.

Brazil ultimately handled that pressure better than anyone else. The team leaves Seoul as PNC 2026 champion, while Argentina, Vietnam and the rest of the field will now turn their attention toward the next stage of the PUBG esports season.
