PUBG swaps bullets for heists with a new PvE mode alongside PAYDAY

The tactical chaos of PUBG Battlegrounds merges with the criminal world of PAYDAY in a collaboration that introduces a completely different twist: a newPvE heist mode.
The premise is straightforward: get in, get out, get everything. But doing so won't be easy. This new mode temporarily moves away from the classic battle royale to focus on cooperative operations where planning, coordination, and speed are essential.
The approach clearly echoes the DNA of PAYDAY: managing risk, controlling time, and maximizing the loot before everything spins out of control. It’s not the one with the most kills who wins, but the one who executes the heist the best.
The release dates have been confirmed:
- PC: May 13, 2026
- Consoles: May 21, 2026
Additionally, the collaboration is accompanied by the PUBG x PAYDAY Streamer Challenge, a competition where content creators must complete heists and accumulate as much money as possible across different leaderboards.
This type of crossover doesn't just add thematic content; it also transforms the game's usual pace, offering an experience much more focused on objectives and cooperation.
With the heist about to begin, the tension shifts: it’s no longer just about surviving—it’s about getting out rich.
Now, the question is clear: when the time comes to leave with the loot, will you keep your cool… or will you lose it all before you escape?
