Something unusually round—and apparently rather hungry—is waiting on the other side of the door. Season 26SP5 has begun in Strinova, bringing the anime tactical shooter into its latest seasonal phase with login rewards, balance adjustments and two heavily promoted cosmetic attractions.

The opening gameplay trailer places Fuchsia at the centre of an upcoming Fat Shark collaboration while also preparing players for Flavia’s new Legendary outfit, Darkscale Enchantress. The two additions follow very different themes, giving the season both a playful crossover and a darker premium cosmetic release.

Season 26SP5: Seasonless Garden is now underway

Officially titled Seasonless Garden, Season 26SP5 launched alongside Strinova’s September 17 update. The new season continues the game’s live-service structure with another progression period, limited-time activities and incentives for returning players.

A dedicated Seasonless Garden login event offers rewards for signing in on seven separate days. This is particularly useful for players interested in the season’s premium cosmetics, as some of the available resources connect with Strinova’s existing item-draw systems.

The update is not limited to costumes and collaboration content. Its patch notes also contain character, weapon and technical adjustments. Mara’s Night Scythe, for example, received changes to its trajectory, effective range and base rate of fire. Several problems affecting community-created content in the Map Workshop were also addressed.

Those revisions matter because they separate the playable update from its promotional trailer. Fuchsia’s unusual new companion and Flavia’s transformation may provide the most immediately marketable images, but Season 26SP5 also changes parts of the competitive experience underneath them.

Fuchsia finds a new friend in the Fat Shark collaboration

The stranger half of the season begins on September 24, when the Fat Shark collaboration officially arrives in Strinova. Fuchsia has been selected as the crossover’s featured Superstring, pairing one of the shooter’s established characters with the collaboration’s oversized shark companion.

According to the official update announcement, the associated “Fat Fat Shark is here!” event will run from September 24 at 07:00 until November 30 at 06:59 UTC. Players will be able to log in during that period to claim event rewards.

The extended event window gives the collaboration more than two months of visibility. That is substantially longer than a short promotional weekend and should provide occasional players with enough time to participate without needing to log in immediately after launch.

Exact regional presentation and the complete reward structure should still be checked inside the game when the event begins. The gameplay trailer establishes Fuchsia’s connection to the shark, while the written announcement confirms the dates and the presence of login rewards. Neither should be interpreted as confirmation that every collaboration item will be obtainable for free.

Darkscale Enchantress gives Flavia a new Legendary identity

Flavia’s Darkscale Enchantress outfit represents the more elaborate side of Season 26SP5’s cosmetic lineup. Built around an enchantress and spirit-serpent concept, the Legendary appearance offers a supernatural alternative to Flavia’s standard presentation.

Darkscale Enchantress became available on September 17 through a limited-time Cognitive Reconstruction event. Players can use Memory Sequences to draw for a chance to obtain the Legendary outfit, rather than unlocking it automatically by entering the new season.

The featured selection also includes Solo – Shadowfire, a matching Legendary weapon skin. Both items are scheduled to remain available until November 3, giving interested players a defined acquisition window of approximately seven weeks.

There is also a dedicated Flavia Exchange Shop connected to the event. Currency obtained through the reconstruction system can be used to redeem a selection of six rare items, while collecting those featured items contributes towards additional Gift Point rewards.

This makes Darkscale Enchantress more than an isolated shop costume, but it also means players should examine the event rules carefully before spending resources. The promotional material focuses on the appeal of the outfit, whereas the official update notes explain that access is tied to a limited-time draw and exchange structure.

Two very different cosmetics anchor the same season

Putting Fat Shark and Darkscale Enchantress into the same seasonal campaign creates an intentionally broad tonal range. Fuchsia’s collaboration leans into Strinova’s more playful and character-driven side, while Flavia’s Legendary outfit targets players interested in elaborate fantasy styling and coordinated weapon cosmetics.

That variety is valuable for a game whose identity depends heavily on its cast. Strinova’s Superstrings are not interchangeable soldiers: their individual designs, weapons and abilities are central to how players choose a main. Seasonal cosmetics can therefore reinforce attachment to particular characters even when they do not affect combat performance.

Fuchsia and Flavia also appeal to different parts of the community. A crossover companion and login campaign can attract casual participation, while a limited Legendary reconstruction is aimed more directly at collectors prepared to manage premium resources.

Neither addition provides a mechanical advantage. Cosmetic outfits and weapon appearances modify presentation, not the underlying effectiveness of a character. Competitive results will continue to depend on positioning, ability use, gunplay and mastery of Strinova’s signature Stringification mechanic.

Stringification remains at the centre of Strinova’s combat

Behind the seasonal spectacle, Strinova remains an anime-styled third-person tactical shooter built around the ability to move between three-dimensional and paper-like forms. Stringification allows Superstrings to flatten themselves, glide, attach to surfaces and avoid certain attacks, introducing movement and survival options not normally found in conventional tactical shooters.

That mechanical identity is why character cosmetics receive so much attention. Players frequently see their selected Superstring from a third-person perspective, making outfits and weapon skins considerably more visible than they would be in a traditional first-person shooter.

Season 26SP5 does not replace that foundation. Instead, it adds another layer of visual identity and limited-time progression around the existing matches. Players returning for Flavia or the Fat Shark event will still need to adapt to the same combination of shooting, character abilities and form-changing movement.

The important Season 26SP5 dates

Seasonless Garden and Flavia’s Legendary release are already active as of September 17. Darkscale Enchantress and Solo – Shadowfire are scheduled to remain available until November 3, while the Fat Shark collaboration begins one week later on September 24 and continues until November 30.

That staggered schedule prevents every major attraction from arriving simultaneously. Flavia collectors can begin using their saved Memory Sequences immediately, while Fuchsia players have several days to prepare for the collaboration event.

Season 26SP5 has therefore opened with a clear mixture of competitive maintenance and character-focused spectacle. One side invites players into the coils of Flavia’s spirit serpent; the other answers the season’s knock at the door with Fuchsia and a surprisingly friendly shark.
