Strinova is expanding its current season with the 26SP3-2 update, bringing a new Legendary outfit for Cielle, the launch of the Strinova x Tang Sancai collaboration, a free Outbreak Battle Pass and new combat tools designed to reshape how players approach the game’s infected mode.
The update is positioned as a mid-season content drop rather than a small balance patch. Alongside cosmetic additions, 26SP3-2 introduces the Talent System for Outbreak and adds the Greatsword to the game’s melee arsenal, giving players new options for build crafting and close-range combat.
Cielle takes the spotlight with a new Legendary outfit
The update’s most visible premium addition is a new Legendary Outfit and Weapon Skin for Cielle. The character is presented in a new battle suit themed around the Infinite Apex Grand Prix, with the release framed as a high-profile cosmetic drop rather than a standard seasonal skin.
Cielle has already been one of the more recognisable faces of Strinova’s current content cycle, and this outfit pushes that role further by tying her visual identity to the update’s more stylised, competition-inspired direction. The new set is expected to be one of the main cosmetic incentives for players who follow the game’s collection systems and limited outfit rotations.
The release also continues Strinova’s broader approach of using character cosmetics as part of its seasonal storytelling. Rather than operating separately from the game’s themed events, Cielle’s new appearance is being used as one of the centrepieces of 26SP3-2’s wider presentation.
The Tang Sancai collaboration brings historic colour into Strinova
One of the update’s most distinctive additions is the Strinova x Tang Sancai collaboration. Tang Sancai is known for its ancient Chinese three-colour ceramic style, and the event brings that visual influence into the game through themed rewards and limited-time activities.
The collaboration runs from June 25 to July 22, giving players a defined window to complete event objectives and unlock its related content. The campaign is built around the “Symphony of Sancai” theme, using the collaboration to introduce a more traditional artistic influence into Strinova’s otherwise futuristic anime-shooter setting.
This is a more unusual direction for the game than a conventional crossover with another entertainment franchise. The Sancai event appears designed to stand out through art direction and cultural references, giving the update a more distinctive identity than a purely cosmetic refresh.
Outbreak receives a free Battle Pass and a new Talent System
The practical gameplay focus of 26SP3-2 is Outbreak, Strinova’s infected mode. The update introduces a free Outbreak Battle Pass, offering a progression track specifically built around the mode and its rewards.
The more important system change is the new Talent System. According to the update preview, players will be able to draw special Talent cards during an Outbreak match, including when entering a round or after becoming infected. These cards are intended to add more build variation and situational decision-making to each run.
That could have a meaningful effect on Outbreak’s replayability. Instead of relying only on weapon choice, character selection and existing cards, players will have an additional layer of adaptation during matches. The system should create more variance between rounds, particularly when teams need to react to changing conditions or use different approaches after becoming infected.
The exact balance impact will depend on how strong the individual Talents are and how consistently they appear, but the concept gives Outbreak a clearer roguelite-style progression element within each session.
The Greatsword expands Strinova’s melee options
The update also introduces the Greatsword, a new melee weapon built around heavier attacks and a more deliberate combat style. It joins Strinova’s existing melee tools as another option for players who prefer close-range engagements or want to experiment with more aggressive movement and pressure tactics.
Compared with lighter melee weapons, the Greatsword appears designed to trade speed for impact. That gives it the potential to occupy a different niche in modes where space control, timing and burst damage matter more than rapid combo chains.
Its addition is especially relevant for players who spend time in modes built around melee combat or high-mobility skirmishes. New weapons can change how teams contest narrow routes and how individual players approach isolated duels, particularly in a game where Stringify movement creates unusual verticality and positioning options.
A mid-season update with more substance than a cosmetic drop
The 26SP3-2 update combines the type of content expected from a live-service shooter—premium cosmetics, themed events and progression rewards—with systems that could have a longer-term impact on gameplay.
Cielle’s Legendary outfit and the Tang Sancai collaboration provide the update’s visual identity, while the free Outbreak Battle Pass gives players a direct reason to engage with the mode. The Talent System is the most important addition from a design perspective, as it has the potential to make individual Outbreak matches less predictable and more build-driven.
The Greatsword completes the package by adding another combat option outside the update’s seasonal cosmetics. For players who have been waiting for a more substantial Outbreak refresh, 26SP3-2 appears to be the point where Strinova’s current season shifts from visual content into more meaningful gameplay experimentation.
