Humour in video games can be found everywhere since the advent of gaming, from visual gags in those retro pixel titles to storylines that are as hilarious as they are absurd. The quintessential Funny game is Monkey Island, an adventure game from the 90s that saw the character Guybrush Threepwood in a quest to become a pirate, no matter how inept he was.
