Mature

Back in the 90s, there were no ratings to separate Mature games and kids games — you could literally enter an arcade and see young ones playing Mortal Kombat with all the gore and blood like it was nothing. Nowadays, Mature games are much more controlled, which allow developers to get as dark or suggestive as they'd like. Mature games excel in tackling complex themes, and also feature gameplay that doesn't look down on its audience and allow them to figure things out for themselves. If you're old enough, take a trip through our category of Mature games!
