Mythology

Mythology or Myth games are based on a folklore genre consisting of narratives that play a fundamental role in a society, such as foundational tales or origin myths. The main characters in mythology games are usually gods, demigods, or supernatural humans. An example of a Mythology game is God of War, the game by Santa Monica Studios for the Playstation consoles that features Kratos in his quest to kill the Gods of the Olympus, from Greek Mythology, or the latest God of War for the Playstation 4, that sees creatures facing against Gods from Viking mythology.
