TEKKEN 8 renews its fight pass and allows players to earn back more in-game currency with the new round of rewards

While players await the arrival of new fighters and future content updates, TEKKEN 8 continues to expand one of the systems that generates the most community activity: the TEKKEN Fight Pass. Bandai Namco has confirmed the launch of Round 10, a new rewards season that is available now and will remain active until August 19.

The system follows the usual formula of modern progression passes. Players can level up simply by participating in online matches and completing in-game activities, unlocking cosmetic items, customizations, and premium currency as they progress. However, one of the aspects drawing the most attention is the amount of TEKKEN Coins (TC) that can be earned back during the season.

According to Bandai Namco, those using the free version of the pass will be able to obtain up to 100 TEKKEN Coins, while users who purchase the Premium version will have access to more rewards and up to 600 TEKKEN Coins throughout their progression. This mechanic has become a staple within games-as-a-service, as it allows players to recoup part of their investment if they actively complete the pass.

The arrival of Round 10 coincides with an especially active period for the game. Over the last few months, TEKKEN 8 has maintained a steady flow of content through DLC characters, time-limited events, balance adjustments, and special collaborations. The recent confirmation of Yujiro Hanma as a future guest fighter from the Baki universe has further contributed to keeping the conversation around the title at one of its highest points since launch.

Bandai Namco seems determined to follow a strategy similar to that of other major contemporary competitive games: maintaining constant goals so that players have reasons to log back in, even between major updates. The Fight Pass fits perfectly into this approach, offering periodic rewards without relying exclusively on new characters or gameplay overhauls.

As is usually the case with these types of systems, the real appeal will largely depend on the items included in the current rotation. Cosmetic elements have become a major part of TEKKEN 8's identity, especially thanks to the extensive customization system that allows players to modify the appearance of fighters with considerable freedom.

There is also a competitive factor behind the pass. By linking progression to online matchmaking, Bandai Namco incentivizes constant activity within multiplayer modes—something especially crucial for keeping matchmaking times healthy and maintaining a player presence across all ranks.

The TEKKEN Fight Pass Round 10 will be available untilAugust 19, giving players several weeks to unlock all the included rewards before the next content rotation arrives.

And while the big headlines usually focus on new characters or balance patches, Bandai Namco knows one thing perfectly well: keeping the community connected between updates is just as important as releasing the next big fighter.
