Embark Studios has released the Silent Cypher Set, a new premium cosmetic package for THE FINALS built around digital espionage, cybernetic warfare and a decidedly lethal sense of style. The DLC became available on September 10, 2026, accompanying Update 11.9.0 and expanding the game’s Season 11 cosmetic catalogue.

The Silent Cypher Set presents its wearer as an elite agent working for VAIIYA, the fictional technology and security corporation operating within the world of THE FINALS. According to Embark’s accompanying description, the organization has sent one of its best agents into the Arena to collect data from the competition—and eliminate anyone standing in the way.

It is a theme that plays neatly with the developer’s “slashing or hacking” tagline. The set combines the appearance of a covert digital operative with a sword skin designed for contestants who prefer handling their Arena problems at close range.

Everything Included in the Silent Cypher Set

The Silent Cypher Set contains several cosmetics alongside a sizeable allocation of the game’s premium currency. Buyers receive:

  • One Legendary outfit
  • The Legendary Decryptor Edge Sword skin
  • One Epic emote
  • One Epic weapon charm
  • 2,400 Multibucks

The Legendary outfit provides the foundation of the package, allowing players to transform their contestant into the VAIIYA operative featured in the set’s promotional material. The supporting emote and charm extend that identity beyond the main costume, giving players additional ways to carry the Silent Cypher theme across their presentation and loadout.

Its most prominent individual cosmetic is the Legendary Decryptor Edge Sword. The weapon skin connects the package’s two central ideas: a blade capable of cutting through opponents and a technological tool designed to break through digital security. It is a fitting centerpiece for a set that treats physical infiltration and computer intrusion as two sides of the same operation.

As with other cosmetic rarities in THE FINALS, the Legendary and Epic classifications describe the presentation and rarity of the included items. They do not provide additional damage, survivability or any other competitive advantage during a match.

A VAIIYA Agent Enters the Arena

Silent Cypher is closely connected to VAIIYA, one of the fictional corporations that helps define the game-show universe of THE FINALS. Embark describes the character behind the set as an agent sent into the competition to harvest every available piece of data while leaving no digital trail.

That framing gives the bundle more personality than a simple collection of unrelated cosmetics. Everything is organized around the fantasy of becoming a covert corporate operative: enter the Arena, read the situation, secure the information and disappear before the opposition understands what happened.

The resulting cyber-assassin identity should appeal most strongly to players who prefer sleek technological themes over the louder celebrity, sports, military or retro-futuristic designs also found throughout the game. It is particularly appropriate for contestants using fast and aggressive melee loadouts, although the outfit itself can be equipped independently of the sword.

The connection between the costume and a melee weapon also feels especially relevant during Season 11. Galaxy Masters introduced a substantial melee combat rework intended to create clearer defensive interactions and more opportunities for counterplay. Silent Cypher does not alter those systems, but its signature sword arrives at a time when close-range combat has received renewed attention.

A Real-Money DLC With 2,400 Multibucks

Unlike a regular cosmetic bundle purchased from the rotating in-game store with Multibucks, the Silent Cypher Set is distributed as a paid DLC through the relevant platform storefront. The base version of THE FINALS is still required, although the game itself remains free to play.

The package is listed at $19.99 on the United States Steam and PlayStation stores and £16.99 on the United Kingdom Xbox store. Final prices can differ depending on platform, region, local taxes and currency conversion.

Including 2,400 Multibucks makes the package more flexible than a cosmetic set containing only fixed items. Players receive the complete Silent Cypher collection immediately while retaining premium currency that can be spent on future store cosmetics, passes or other eligible content.

That does not automatically make the DLC worthwhile for every contestant. Its value depends primarily on whether the buyer wants the VAIIYA-themed outfit and Decryptor Edge Sword—and whether they were already planning to purchase additional Multibucks. Players interested only in one isolated component cannot currently buy the DLC’s individual items separately through its platform listing.

Silent Cypher Arrives With Update 11.9.0

The DLC launched as part of a busy week for THE FINALS. Update 11.9.0 also activated the Scorch Protocol World Tour event, introduced the Right to Strike Event Pass and added another store collection called Zolgabar Command.

The gameplay portion of the update included balance adjustments for the Zipline, Evasive Dash and Cloaking Device. Embark reduced the Zipline’s cooldown and increased its maximum placement distance, while Evasive Dash received another cooldown reduction. Stationary players using the Cloaking Device were also made slightly easier to detect.

A selection of stability, performance, audio and interface fixes accompanied those changes. The Silent Cypher Set remains separate from all of these gameplay adjustments: purchasing the DLC is not required to access the update or continue playing during Season 11.

This distinction is important because THE FINALS frequently releases several different reward tracks simultaneously. The Silent Cypher Set is a direct paid DLC, the Right to Strike content is structured as an Event Pass, and the Red Broadcast Blaze cosmetics announced in the same update are distributed through eligible Twitch Drops. Each promotion therefore has its own acquisition method and availability conditions.

Platforms and Availability

The Silent Cypher Set is available for the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of THE FINALS. Store listings identify September 10, 2026, as its release date, and no removal deadline is currently displayed for the DLC.

That differs from the Right to Strike Event Pass and the Twitch Drops promoted alongside it, both of which have explicitly announced closing dates. The absence of a deadline should not be treated as a guarantee that the set will remain available permanently, but players do not currently appear to be facing a limited launch window.

For contestants who want to enter the Arena as a silent VAIIYA operative, the package delivers a coordinated outfit, cybernetic sword, emote and charm rather than a loosely connected assortment of cosmetics. The additional 2,400 Multibucks broadens its appeal, particularly for regular players who expect to spend premium currency elsewhere during Galaxy Masters or a future season.

Silent, deadly and designed to leave no trace, the Silent Cypher Set is now available in THE FINALS.
