Embark Studios has introduced another limited-purchase progression track to THE FINALS with the Right to Strike Event Pass, a new collection of IVADA-sponsored rewards built around protective equipment, worker solidarity and the game’s distinctive corporate satire.

The pass arrived alongside Update 11.9.0 on September 10, 2026, and can be purchased until October 1. Unlike a conventional limited-time event track, players who acquire it during that availability window will be able to continue completing it at their own pace.

That distinction gives contestants a little more flexibility than an event with a fixed progression deadline. Players still need to decide whether they want the pass before it leaves the store, but they are not being asked to unlock every reward during the same three-week period.

IVADA Has Negotiated a New Deal for Contestants

The Right to Strike Event Pass is presented as another product from IVADA, one of the fictional sponsors operating within the hyper-commercialized world of THE FINALS. This time, the company positions itself as a protector of both a contestant’s body and financial interests.

Embark frames the pass as the result of a beneficial agreement negotiated by a union, promising a special reward line for competitors who want to demonstrate that they remain “on top of their game.” As usual, the language deliberately blurs the distinction between player progression, corporate advertising and the fictional employment conditions of the contestants.

The title itself carries the same double meaning. The “right to strike” traditionally refers to organized workers withholding their labor, but inside THE FINALS it also becomes a literal promise of combat. Contestants are not simply defending their workplace rights; they are entering an Arena where striking opponents, destroying structures and stealing Cashouts are fundamental parts of the show.

This satirical framing prevents the Event Pass from feeling like a random assortment of cosmetics. IVADA’s sponsorship, the union references and the emphasis on protection give the collection a recognizable identity within the game’s universe.

Purchase Before October 1, Finish Without the Rush

The most important practical detail is the difference between the purchase period and the completion period. The Right to Strike Event Pass is available to buy until October 1, 2026. Once purchased, however, Embark says that it can be completed at the player’s own pace.

In other words, October 1 is presented as the deadline for acquiring access rather than a requirement to finish the entire reward track. That should make the pass more approachable for players who cannot dedicate several hours every week during the initial event period.

Time-limited progression systems often create pressure by combining two deadlines. Players must purchase the pass before it disappears and then complete every level before the season or event concludes. Right to Strike retains the first restriction but removes much of the urgency associated with the second.

That does not make the purchase decision entirely pressure-free. Anyone interested in the cosmetics still needs to commit before October 1, and Embark’s announcement does not suggest that the pass will remain permanently available in the store. Nevertheless, separating ownership from immediate completion gives players more control over how they distribute their playtime.

It also allows the pass to coexist more comfortably with the rest of Season 11. THE FINALS currently has several parallel activities competing for attention, including World Tour, Twitch Drops, regular progression and the continuing road toward The Grand Major 2026. A pass that can be finished later is less likely to force players to abandon those other objectives.

A Legendary Item Waits at the End

The Right to Strike Event Pass contains a dedicated line of IVADA-themed rewards, with a Legendary item positioned as its final unlock. Embark has emphasized the rarity of that closing reward, making it the primary long-term objective for anyone progressing through the track.

The official written announcement does not provide a complete text list naming every individual cosmetic or disclose the pass price. Those details should therefore be checked directly in the in-game Event Pass screen before purchase, particularly by players who care about compatibility with a specific weapon, gadget or contestant build.

What is confirmed is that the reward line follows a unified IVADA concept rather than mixing unrelated seasonal items. The collection is designed to communicate status and preparedness, matching the sponsor’s promise to protect contestants and their assets.

The Legendary finale also gives the pass a clear progression hierarchy. Smaller rewards can maintain momentum through the earlier stages, while the final item provides a visible target for players who want to complete the full collection. Because progression remains available after the sales period, reaching that reward becomes a personal objective instead of a race against October 1.

Players should still evaluate the entire reward track before buying it. A high-rarity final item does not automatically make a pass worthwhile if the remaining cosmetics do not match a player’s preferred loadouts or visual style. The ability to finish later improves convenience, but it does not replace the need to examine what is actually included.

Event Passes Offer a More Focused Form of Progression

THE FINALS regularly uses its fictional sponsors to organize cosmetics, events and promotional campaigns. An Event Pass allows Embark to explore one of those themes through a smaller and more concentrated progression track than the main seasonal Battle Pass.

That focused approach has several advantages. It can give a sponsor such as IVADA a stronger identity, provide a recognizable cosmetic set and introduce a secondary progression goal without waiting for the next full season. It also gives active players another reason to return while leaving the core gameplay accessible to everyone.

The drawback is that several overlapping passes and store collections can make the game’s cosmetic ecosystem harder to follow. Clear communication about purchasing and completion conditions is therefore essential. In this case, Embark has directly confirmed the October 1 purchase deadline and the ability to complete the pass at the owner’s preferred pace.

What remains less transparent in the accompanying written material is the exact price, number of progression levels and complete itemized reward list. Those omissions do not prevent players from understanding the central offer, but they mean the in-game interface remains necessary for making an informed purchase.

Right to Strike Arrives During Update 11.9.0

The new Event Pass is part of a broader weekly update rather than an isolated store release. Update 11.9.0 also introduced the Scorch Protocol World Tour event, which brings the escaped Dragon back into the Arena.

Scorch Protocol is active across Galaxy Estates, Kyoto, Las Vegas, Bernal and Monaco. The event threatens Cashout Stations from above, adding another environmental complication for teams already attempting to control objectives and survive attacks from rival contestants.

The update also added the paid Silent Cypher DLC set. Sponsored by VAIIYA, that package contains a complete outfit, the Legendary Decryptor Edge sword, an Epic emote, a charm and 2,400 Multibucks. Its surveillance and data-harvesting theme provides a colder technological contrast to the labor-inspired presentation of Right to Strike.

A separate set of Twitch Drops is available until September 24. Watching participating THE FINALS broadcasts with Drops enabled for one, two and four hours unlocks Red Broadcast Blaze appearances for the Hover Pad, Barricade and Tracking Dart respectively.

These parallel releases make Update 11.9.0 a particularly cosmetic-heavy week, with an Event Pass, a premium DLC set, store additions and free broadcast rewards all arriving together.

Mobility and Cloaking Receive Balance Adjustments

Update 11.9.0 also introduces several gameplay changes that will affect matches while players progress through the new pass.

The Zipline gadget has received a substantial usability improvement. Its cooldown has been reduced from 37 to 30 seconds, while its maximum placement distance has increased from 40 to 50 metres. Embark explained that the Zipline had struggled to compete with movement options such as the Jump Pad and Gateway, so the changes are intended to make it a more relevant traversal choice.

Evasive Dash has received another cooldown reduction, dropping from six to five seconds per charge. A previous adjustment had not produced the desired effect in live matches, prompting the studio to strengthen the specialization again.

Cloaking Device users will now be slightly easier to detect while standing still. Its blending effect has been reduced in that situation, addressing complaints about the difficulty of locating stationary cloaked players. Embark is continuing to evaluate the broader cloaking combat loop and has not ruled out further changes in later updates.

The patch additionally fixes several crashes, performance issues and cosmetic problems. These include a PS5 crash, an Xbox suspension hang, excessive memory use by certain textures and a contract that failed to count opponents detected with Tracking Darts.

A Flexible Pass With a Firm Entry Deadline

The Right to Strike Event Pass combines a limited sales window with comparatively flexible progression. Players have until October 1 to purchase it, but those who secure access can work through its rewards without treating that date as an immediate completion deadline.

Its IVADA theme also fits naturally into the exaggerated corporate world of THE FINALS. The promise of protection, the supposed union agreement and the combat-focused wordplay turn the pass into another piece of Arena fiction rather than a purely mechanical reward track.

The Legendary final item will be the main attraction for completionists, although prospective buyers should inspect the full reward list and price in-game before making a decision. Embark’s written announcement confirms the overall structure and availability conditions but does not name every included item.

Right to Strike is available for purchase now and will leave the store on October 1, 2026. Once acquired, the Event Pass can be completed at the player’s own pace.
