A new Descendant is preparing to enter the battlefield in The First Descendant. Nexon has revealed Raven, the latest playable character arriving with Season 4 Episode 1: “The Great Clash”, alongside a new Character Gameplay Trailer showcasing her combat abilities.

Raven is set to make her debut on August 20, bringing a distinctive and aggressive fighting style centered around a devastating shotgun made of shadows.

Meet Raven

Raven immediately stands out from other Descendants thanks to her connection with shadow-based weaponry. Rather than relying on a conventional firearm, she unleashes a powerful shotgun formed from shadows, giving her attacks a supernatural visual identity and a formidable presence on the battlefield.

The new gameplay trailer offers players a closer look at Raven in action, highlighting her ability to unleash fierce assaults against enemies and overwhelm opponents with powerful close-range attacks.

Her shadow shotgun appears to be at the heart of her combat style, making positioning and aggressive engagements particularly important for players looking to make the most of her abilities.

A Fierce New Playstyle

Raven's introduction adds another option for players looking to experiment with different combat styles in The First Descendant.

Her focus on a shadow-based shotgun gives her a distinctive identity compared with Descendants who rely on more traditional weaponry. The ability to bring a supernatural weapon directly into battle also helps establish Raven as a character with a unique place within the game's growing roster.

The Character Gameplay Trailer puts that power on display, showing Raven charging into combat and unleashing devastating attacks against enemies.

For players who enjoy getting up close and dealing heavy damage, Raven could become an exciting addition to their available Descendants.

Shadow Weaponry Takes Center Stage

The defining feature of Raven's gameplay is undoubtedly her shadow shotgun.

The weapon combines the raw impact of a shotgun with Raven's mysterious shadow powers, creating an attack style that looks both brutal and visually distinctive. Each blast reinforces the character's aggressive identity and gives her a powerful tool for dealing with enemies at close range.

Her introduction also expands the range of supernatural abilities available in The First Descendant, continuing the game's focus on Descendants with increasingly unique combat mechanics.

The trailer provides only a glimpse of what Raven can do, but it already establishes her as a force designed to make an immediate impact when she enters the battlefield.

Arriving With Season 4 Episode 1

Raven will officially join The First Descendant on August 20, coinciding with the launch of Season 4 Episode 1, “The Great Clash.”

Her arrival is part of a larger update that is set to introduce new content and experiences to the game. Players will be able to add Raven to their roster and discover how her shadow-based abilities fit into the wider Season 4 gameplay experience.

With the new episode approaching, Raven gives players another reason to prepare for the next chapter of The First Descendant.

The Great Clash Begins

The arrival of Raven marks another major addition to the ever-growing roster of Descendants.

Armed with a shotgun made from shadows and a fierce approach to combat, she looks ready to bring a new level of aggression to the battlefield. The Character Gameplay Trailer provides an early look at her capabilities, but players will be able to experience Raven for themselves when Season 4 Episode 1 launches.

Raven arrives August 20 in The First Descendant Season 4 Episode 1: “The Great Clash.” Get ready to unleash the shadows.
