Scorpio Leads The Division Resurgence Season 1 Phase 3 Update

25/06/2026 - 07:20

The Division Resurgence has entered Phase 3 of Season 1, adding a new Classified Ops Pass, fresh time-limited challenges and a free Exotic weapon for agents returning to the streets of New York. The latest update expands the game’s seasonal progression with rewards designed for both regular players and those looking to push their builds through more demanding activities.

The headline addition is Scorpio, a new Exotic shotgun built around stacking debuffs on enemy targets. Alongside it, Ubisoft has introduced more Speedrun content and the Trigger Happy challenge, giving the current phase a stronger focus on repeatable objectives and performance-based rewards.

Scorpio brings a new Exotic option to the Classified Ops Pass

The Phase 3 update introduces a new Classified Ops Pass with up to 50 reward tiers to unlock. Its most important free reward is Scorpio, an Exotic shotgun that applies accumulating status effects to enemies before overwhelming them with increased damage potential.

That makes Scorpio a particularly relevant addition for players who favour close-range builds or who want another crowd-control tool for tougher PvE encounters. Rather than functioning only as a high-damage shotgun, the weapon is positioned around weakening targets over several hits, creating opportunities to disrupt enemy groups and capitalise on their debuffed state.

The pass also includes additional cosmetic progression. Ubisoft previously confirmed that the Season 1.3 Classified Ops Pass would feature the Freemen full apparel set and the Boombox weapon skin, adding more reasons to work through the seasonal reward track beyond the Exotic weapon itself.

Trigger Happy and new Speedrun Missions raise the pace

Phase 3 is not limited to progression rewards. The update also adds new Time-Limited Events, including the Trigger Happy challenge and three new Speedrun Missions. These activities are intended to reward efficient play, creating another route for agents to earn seasonal loot while testing their ability to clear objectives under pressure.

Speedrun-focused content fits naturally within Resurgence’s live-service structure. It gives established players a reason to revisit familiar combat spaces with different priorities, while newer agents can use the activities as a way to experiment with weapon combinations, specialisations and squad coordination.

The new events also reinforce the current season’s focus on ongoing engagement rather than a one-off content drop. Players who are not immediately interested in pushing the Classified Ops Pass can still find repeatable objectives that encourage experimentation with builds and provide rewards through successful event completion.

A new stage for Resurgence after its worldwide launch

Season 1 began shortly after The Division Resurgence launched worldwide on iOS and Android in March. Ubisoft’s mobile entry in the series places players in a new story set during the early days of the Division crisis, while retaining the franchise’s core mix of third-person RPG shooting, open-world exploration, co-op missions, PvP activities and Dark Zone extraction gameplay.

Phase 3 therefore arrives at an important moment for the game. The initial launch window has passed, and the focus is now shifting toward whether Resurgence can sustain its player base through meaningful seasonal updates, regular reasons to return and a progression structure that does not depend solely on new story content.

Ubisoft’s earlier roadmap had already positioned Season 1.3 as the phase that would bring Scorpio into the game. With the weapon, additional Speedrun Missions and new limited-time events now available, the update delivers on that outline while providing a clearer sense of the game’s intended cadence between larger seasonal releases.

What Season 1 Phase 3 means for agents

For most players, the first priority will be unlocking Scorpio through the Classified Ops Pass. A free Exotic weapon is a significant seasonal incentive, particularly when it offers a distinct gameplay effect rather than simply acting as another damage upgrade.

The event additions may be just as important in the longer term. Trigger Happy and the new Speedrun Missions create more content for players who have already settled into their preferred loadouts, while giving squads another reason to coordinate around faster clears and more efficient combat routes.

Phase 3 does not radically redefine The Division Resurgence, but it strengthens the game’s live-service foundation with a focused set of rewards and challenges. Scorpio is the clear centrepiece, yet the broader value of the update will depend on how well the new events keep agents engaged throughout the rest of Season 1.
