Total War: WARHAMMER III adds Bhashiva, turning Grand Cathay into a much more savage and aggressive force

Grand Cathay is about to receive one of its most striking updates since its debut in Total War: WARHAMMER III. Creative Assembly has officially unveiled the new Bhashiva Character Pack, an expansion centered on Bhashiva, the White Tiger. He will arrive as a new playable Legendary Lord accompanied by brand-new units designed to completely transform the faction's combat style.

The content will be available starting May 21, and all signs point to a major gameplay evolution for those who field the Eastern armies of the Warhammer universe.

Bhashiva stands out immediately due to his visual and thematic identity. Known as The White Tiger, the character appears built around speed, ferocity, and offensive dominance—stepping away from the highly disciplined, balanced, and defensive approach that many players traditionally associate with Grand Cathay.

The expansion isn't just limited to a new Legendary Lord.

The pack also introduces new units of Tiger Warriors, specialized frontline troops that promise to add a much more aggressive, mobile layer to Cathay's armies. While Creative Assembly has yet to detail their exact stats or mechanics, the teaser trailer strongly suggests units focused on shock assault, relentless pressure, and brutal front-line combat.
